I'm glad Citra exists. This is one of the only 3ds games to look good upscaled. It goes to show they went all in with it. It's a shame it released on the end of the handhelds life. They should make a port of it to switch eventually it's a masterpiece
God. Radiant Dawn was my first game, so I didn't know the Black Knight from Path of Radiance, and when Micaiah was about to die and a 7 foot tall suit of armor with a flowing cape and a sword that shoots lasers just showed up to tear apart an entire platoon was just an 11/10 in terms of hype.
@@RorikH Black Knight is notorious for probably the hardest boss fight in FE history. One: you has to run away from him constantly in POR. Two: Ike has to face him alone in their final battle. Two: Even if Ike reaches the maximum level with perfect stats, Black Knight can still kill him easily. That means you have to pray Aether to activate twice before your Elixirs run out. And in Radiant Dawn, you find out Ike won in POR simply because of Black Knight's mercy. Yeah, he is definitively the definition of badass boss.

Just finished my first playthough a couple weeks ago, normal-casual. The final battle had me reeling, even though deaths aren't permanent on cas. After the enemy summoners had fallen, I drew out the map-aoe from Duma, healed the next turn, and then went balls to the wall. Every unit I had that could do damage took part, Kliff was the one to bring the dragon down to 1 HP after dealing huge damage with a forged brave sword. Incredible. My only problem, and I mean only, is the weapon forging and evolution trees. Its so complex, you have to know the evos by heart, the game certainly didn't tell you the pathes either.
@Andrew miller Forging pathes are not a difficulty issue. They are a grinding issue, you need to grind for lots of money to upgrade the assortment of weapons a few times, and before that most weapons don't display that they even have an evolution path. I think for some weapons, you are able to evolve at 1 star, and others at 3 start, and if you haven't upgraded them to whatever star you need to see the "???" options, you have no clue whether they can evolve or not. Its an entirely seperate issue from easy or hard. You really saw me share my great experience, praise the game and include my thoughts about the weapon upgrade/evolve system, and *then* you chose to raise an issue with what I think of the forging mechanic completely forgetting that I enjoyed the game.
