Living Hinge recipe book

I'll show you how I put together a recipe book with plastic top loading recipe card holders. The covers have laser cut hinges and a personalized design with a faux leather spine.

Thanks! You mentioned that we should watch an earlier video for more details, but I couldn’t find any information about how you mask the wood to eliminate the burn marks. Can you tell me about that?

I use this transfer tape from amazon. Burnish it down real good on both sides of your wood before you laser. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085635HFN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hi. Do you mean the blue scraper that I use to get the masking off the cover? I have those from buying 3M adhesives. You can search for "plastic razor blade scraper" on amazon and find a lot of options for something similar. Most are blue with orange plastic blades.

What length of Chicago screws do you use?

In this book I used 1/2 inch. It will depend on your book thickness. I have another video where I discuss the different Chicago screws that I’ve tried.
