Talent agencies need designers/ art directors for creating attractive marketing pieces, like thumbnails. And they also need engineers/developers to build out websites and other digital properties. Source: my buddy currently works at a large talent agency and hooked up me with an interview to be a hybrid of a designer / developer basically designing digital marketing pieces and updating custom Wordpress templates that needed considerable API development to connect to social media sites and analytics. For the record, I only do Frontend and wasn’t confident I would be able to build out the API interrogations.
