Since this one was about someone like pras and the government out to get him. It brought back memories of a story I read about an American Indian Movement (AIM) activist named Leonard Peltier. How the government framed him, wrongly convicted him and despite all the factual evidence, lies, cover ups and death bed confessions, the government refuses to grant him a retrial or release him.

I wonder if Malaysia was just humble enough to admit it; or something else forced the disclosure. Because this is happening in the US and they've known for sometime but have been mostly silent about it. (It's connected to the Epstein scandal)

Everyone else involved (besides this one girl) either got off the hook or fled to another country and they can't get them so it all fell on him BUT he should have took the plea deal I heard they gave him. Instead it got him in serious trouble. After all, he didn‘t accept the millions bc he is a nice guy, but bc he is a greedy criminal. Do i think the other should have been charged too: Yes. Does it mean it‘s not correct to charge him with 20? No. Without him, all of this wouldn‘t have taken place.

I don’t know if someone mentioned this already but I heard some odd things in the story that I want to highlight that actually is a d*mning part of this entire debacle and that is Pras knew *exactly* what was going on and that he was not just some innocent man who destroyed his own life to help a friend who didn’t bother to have the same loyalty.
What did Pras do to make me believe, beyond a shadow of a doubt , that he is straight up lying about was going on?
He did the exact same thing that Joe and the others did. The moment Pras had collected the money for him, he pocketed a large amount of the money and put some of it in a shell company. Remember that this is
not something someone does who is innocent.
And that’s not the only thing I found odd. Pras had not only helped the FBI and cooperated with identifying some of those men, he did not take the plea deal that was offered to him.
Let’s break this down for a moment. Pras met Joe and was invited to hang out. Once they got there Joe began to flex on everyone who was there.
He then witnessed this same man just throwing money at other celebrities, buying not just a round for the nightclub, he bought every customer there their own bottle of alcohol as well as another nightclub near by. He then paid actors and musicians to just hang out with him. Now if Joe had done one thing possibly two, then that’s fine but the first two things. The third one should have been some red flags.
I feel like I should remind you now that Pras is a celebrity/musician who had left a very popular music group. He *is* famous. You know what that means? Pras has been around rich and wealthy people before. He would know when something doesn’t feel right.
Pras then tried to help Joe a number of times. When he donated money to the Obama administration I could see that. He had met and spoken to the then president and liked his politics. It is possible that he was unaware that donating the way he did was highly illegal.
But this was not what should have been the tip off that things were not on the up and up. Joe had tried to get closer to the Obama administration and that didn’t work.
However, why would Pras then try to do the same thing with the Trump administration? If Pras was more inline with Obama’s political views, he would not have tried to donate to Trump’s campaign since the former president’s views were entirely different.
And unlike the Obama administration, the Trump administration has accepted the money then proceeded to do the exact same thing that Joe did. Pocket a large portion of the donated funds then sent the rest to a shell company.
Now here’s the kicker, remember I mentioned that Pras himself had pocketed a large amount of the money and followed that up by sending the money to a shell company. *If* he didn’t know any better as his defense attorneys have said, why copy what everyone else did? He would have sent the entire amount to whatever he was invested in.
The reason I said all of this, regurgitated the same things over and over again, was because I wanted you to remember when I drop this bomb on you.
Pras helped the FBI and not took the deal isn’t because he wanted to actually help. I believe he did it because he thought that if he cooperated with them, the State would take that into consideration and give him a reduced sentence. I know they offered him no jail time, however, he *knew* they were going to find out what he did during their investigation and discovery. The way the story seemed to flow was that the FBI asked Pras if he had been approached by any Chinese men to take some money.
In fact, that is usually the main reason co-conspirators help in the investigation that willingly and quickly. Less jail time.
And although it seems that Pras was left holding the bag while the others except for that one woman got off scotfree, he reality Pras was the only one out of that group who was the closest to Joe. Why go after a few small fries when they had what appears to be the main culprits?
Something else I would like to point out, everyone bailed including Joe and Pras was the only one who was seemingly flipped. By the way everything played out, the others could have cooperated and pointed all the blame on Pras and Joe. That plea deal would have also been offered to the other players.
I think I rambled on enough and hopefully it wasn’t too much of a mess.
