Beautiful car but not sure on the chrome rims, standard silver alloy is the original look to go for, especially with how nice and clean your car is 👌🏻

Great story Mike. I remember when I was I think 8 or 9 and we had one of the first Porsche Boxster Press cars back in Germany. It was definitely something revolutionary and the beginning of the "new Porsche". I personally never had lots of love for the Boxster but you talking about it made me appreciate the car a bit more. However, please get rid of the Chrome wheels ;) - Kai

Nice vid! Im looking to buy a 2000 boxster next month at 17 years old and it’s good to see a video of other teenagers who have done the same! (My parents gave me no money toward the car. I have 3 jobs)
Love the video man. I have the same exact car it's a 2000 Silver black S6 speed the only thing that I don't have that I want to replace is the fried egg headlights. I did the IMs bearing clutch I did 3K on the suspension. I've got to tell you I've had many 911 air-cooled cars and I will take this car over any of them. Spent about 6 months looking for mine. Do not plan on ever letting it go

Great video! I own a 2004 986 2.7, and I absolutely love it!!! Even the standard version is a great car, especially if you don't intend to put it on track. As a road car, it's got much more than you need before coming to trouble, speed limit, etc 😎

gorgeous car. Although it's more than 20 years old its still holds up well and although not the most powerful the steering and handling of the car is next to none. The engine revs effortlessly and it's not meant to be a drag car but it's such a balanced package.

Similar story to yours ~ with the added twist of growing up dirt poor on the wrong side of the tracks. Took years to buy my first car, and then decades to buy a decent car, and then another decade to buy a Porsche. Appreciate what you have, because silver spoons aren’t handed out to all. Enjoy.
