I have its larger sibling the 700. Only thing missing from the TINI 2 is the belt/cap clip. Can understand it would be difficult to do on the smaller format. But I've still just ordered one!
Just ordered one. this one will replace my olight i1r2 and my ledsenser k3, since these 2 take up to much space in my pocket. Solid upgrade you think? Very usefull video btw!
Hey I made a new channel dedicated to EDC clips a few days ago it would be great to have your feedback on that channel as well... Going to be sharing a lot of new EDC stuff there in the coming weeks! bit.ly/SubscribetoEDCClips
For me, I think the Tini 2 would be my preference. I'm acually going to be comparing a ton of keychain lights including the Nitecore Tini 2, Nitecore TIPSE, RovyVon Aurora A5X and A3Pro, Fenix E03r, Cyansky M2 and M3, Olight i1r2 EOS, TrustFire Mini2 in an upcoming video.
The TIP SE was the reason for my interest in a small light. The protruding buttons that lacked a lockout feature and the exposed charging port were huge negatives for me. Using the plastic clip is to cover those things just adds bulk and something that I would probably break or misplace. The emitters are the same for the TIP SE and TINI 2, which aren’t bad compared to some other manufacturers. I did end up with a TINI 2 and it does fit my needs adequately. I find the 1, 15, and 65 lumen modes more useful than I imagined and clipping it to a mini multi-tool gave it great handling while still fitting in the 5th/watch pocket.
@@mattelness2027 That's what I have! I attached the clip to my Leatherman Micra so I can detach the light and mouth it when both hands are needed. The SS tool also makes it easy to spot when they're attached.
Most modern smart phones have a max output of around 50 lumens. This light has 500. A smart phones light might be suitable for illuninating objects within 5-10 meters. This light is useful at 50 meters.

What do you think of the Tini 2?

excellent review, hope that they come out with a Neutral White or High CRI version (really hate the cool light rendition). happy holidays !
hey thanks a lot for watching! Yeah it would be great to see some different options you are right about that! Happy New Year!
Cool light. May have to get one! Thanks!

Which one you like better to be your main keychain light, Tiny 2 or TIP SE, I see you have both.

TINI 2 is good, but slightly longer and higher CRI (warmer) would make it perfect! (Big fingers, bad eyes)
The TIP SE may be your light then. Not higher CRI that I know of, but it’s longer by a little bit

@@flynlow4ever great idea attaching it to a multi tool! I’ll have to do it with a micra

@@flynlow4ever very smart idea, and I’m sure to do it now myself
Would love this light
Very cool
Thanks man! Yeah, this is a pretty sweet keychain light. I'm working on a video comparing it to 5 other keychain lights which should be fun.
@@UrbanSurvivor awesome looking forward to it. 🙂
my phone has a flashlight too, not worth the $40 in my opinion
