+NBAisback No, Audi has owned Lamborghini for nearly 10 years now (since 2005), and have completely changed the company, they were about to go bankrupt before Audi bought them. And I'm not sure about Buggeti, but that company was French before the VAG bought it.

The end of that video was so wrong man. The veyron is my faviorite car of all time BUT saying it goes round corners better than all the rest is bollocks. go find the veyron lap round the top gear circuit and it looks like its going to fall off the track its so heavy it just gets dragged out of the corners from its momentum. Who ever thinks the veyron can out handle a 997 RS needs there head checking.
It's not comparable. Luxury cars are not mena to be plastic, low height cars that hit everything in the floor, uncomfortable rigid suspension. The veyron is easy to drive, it's very secure in every conditions thanks to AWD, it's comfortable, it's not hard to talk inside, etc. That's about paying more than 100.000€ for a car. LUXURY not all about speed!
The Veyron makes 1001 PS not 1001 HP. PS stands for Pferdestärke, which is German for horse strength, which works out at 0.9863201652997627 HP per PS. The unit is quite widely used in Europe to measure power but it is not that common elsewhere. If you multiply 1001 by 0.9863201652997627, you get 987.3 HP, so thats where the figure of 987 came from.

Why the hell would you compare these cars? All of them are in different classes. The Aston and the R8 are GT cars. The Porsche is a race car. The Lamborghini is the head exploder. Lastly, the Bugatti which is everything that was ever told too you is shredded up in sneezed in your face. I don't get it.

Veyron, GT3 RS, R8, Aston
they all have performance comfort and reliability but the porsche lack the exclusivity of the others. it might be a gt3 rs 997 but in every way apart from performance its just a little less than your bog standard 911.
You don't seriously believe anyone with all three of those cars would even bother to comment something like that? I have an old mini and it is rusty. I live in a terraced house and I am an engineering Student.
I love audi r8, overall best value supercar i think, it does everything so well, even for daily driver, I really liked this video, dont listen to the bad comments, these people know their stuff.
Veyron is too fast for this group. The only cars that can compete w/ Veyron are the American formed SSC Ultimate Aero, the German designed Gumpert Apollo, and the Swedish Koeneggsigigggisjgigjeoigjggg CCX. Th
The other cars in the group are awesome, expensive, and righteously fast, but are B level vehicles when compared to the grand scope and speed of the Veyron and th eothers I just mentioned.

I think your missing the point of the Veyron. Stripping it out would ruin it, apart from that buy yourself a skyline spend £100k on it and get the performance and save yourself £1m.
It is 1001 horsepower but u need a second key and make sure u on a straight long track before u unlock it... u also loose the spoiler so traction is less.. u have t be on a straight road

The Gumpert is much faster around a tight track than a Veyron could ever hope to be, Because its basically set up for the track
the bugatti is kinda boring tho i mean so what its fast you cant use its full potential its just a machine anyway id have the aston or the r8 cause those have real class
ye the veyron is good but its just to expensive. £890,000. i wouldnt hav included it in the test coz it was obviously gonna win when it cost £700,000 more than the rest

Nobody's knocking TopGear, but to say that the "Nobs" in this show "can't drive too good" ??????? Did you even watch the clip? I'd love to see you hold a rear engined rear wheel drive supercar in a drift without it swapping ends on you and leaving you in a ditch wondering how it all went wrong so fast!
