Hey Sparkle, your hair turned out beautiful!!!! You can truly wear any hairstyle. I love how thick your hair is. You are truly talented and patient. Thank you for keeping us updated on your hair journey. You're doing a great job!!! God bless you and keep you going strong.
Heyy Sharlita! Thank you for your sweet comment. I've learned to look at doing my hair as a self-care practice instead of something that is "dreaded and needs to be done". Once I changed my mindset, it's very fun to play in my hair and try new things. I'll be trying more hairstyles soon. In the next 6 months, I'll have more length to play with. Thank you for watching and stopping by❤
You're off to a great start with your natural hair! Just remember that consistency (hair care routine), good technique (training your hair to do what you want it do) and finding products that your hair responds well to, are the key to success with natural hair.
Your hair looks so good and extra thick and luscious... Now I see where baby EJ got his hair from.. honestly it dont look like you need any tips..You already did your homework.. You got this 👍 🥰🥰
Lol heyyy Goldmouth with the beautiful long hair!!! I see that growth over there sis! And yasss, it crazy when I look back at his baby/toddler pics..soooo much hair lol. And thanks for the encouragement and riding along with me on this new journey❤
i tip to stretch out your hair: use toddler hair ties (the soft stretchy ones) to band your hair wet. when your hair dries take them out. use a frizz taming milk or leavin or a oil. it made my hair more manageable when i was twa :)
Go Sparkle!!!! I like the Wetline extreme gel and the green ecostyler the best, I have type 4 hair as well. You did a great job! I feel like I get better curl definition when I finger comb my hair after applying the gel instead of using the brush.
Great job! I started my journey 4 years ago and I transitioned too until I got down to about 2 inches of relaxed hair and I big chopped. This journey had definitely been worth it. I enjoy trying out new styles and have grown quite fond of crochet styles when I'm not wearing my natural hair. My one tip with trying to get ur curls to pop is to try getting ur hair wetter and using more gel. You have to saturate ur hair and then add ur gel generously and it through with ur fingers. You can also try the shingling method as well. I actually prefer finger combing my products through for my wash and go styles. Keep going and never stop trying new things!
I truly appreciate those tips!! I really want to learn to do crochet styles because they're sooo beautiful. I think once I get a good braid pattern, then I'll be more confident
@@SW33TSPARKL3 OMG! I cant believe you replied to my comment. Sorry im having a fan girl moment. Lol....Anyways, straight back braid pattern is clutch, especially if you're braiding your own hair. I still use straight back to this day.
Sparkle that's really cute😍 I love it!! Girl you r breezin thru this natural hair journey like a BOSS💃🏾. After my big chop I couldn't rock a style like that for a year! Was too short to twist😜. Keep doing what you're doing. God bless you Sparkle, you have such a beautiful spirit🙏🏽
Hey 👋 Sparkle ✨…. Your hair cut really features your face so well. I’m that gurl that would rather have thick short hair than long thin hair. The thickness of it all. I ❤️ it. That pick takes me back…😀😀
Hi Sw33tSparkl3, You are inspiring me with your videos. I'm now 9 months post relaxer/texlax myself. No big chop coming in my rear view, but I do not know why watching your video today made me wonder just how cute you would do your daughter's hair if you ever received such a blessing.💞😊 I know you love your boys, but I can see you with a daughter too to complete your family. Maybe in the future. 🙏🏽 I love this style on you. Your hair is so full and thick. I love it. Keep doing your thing Mami. May God continue to bless you on your new journey. 😍🤩🙏🏽💖💋🥰😘

Your hair is so beautiful and I love this style. This natural hair journey will bring about new things for you and I’m excited to watch you embark on this new journey. Thanks for sharing 💜💜 😊😊
You can rock ANY style, and with ease. Girl if that was me, I'd have to think about it, pray on it, Google it, RUclips it, and then pray on it again. While my 10-month post hair is looking like a barrel of puffed wheat. Oh yeah, please please please do an empties video.
Lol good morning, this made me laugh 😆 so you're 10 months post relaxer? You're transitioning? It's ok. Only cut whenever you are ready. And thanks for the suggestion cause I havent done an empties video in awhile, I always throw them away, but I'll be working on that now
Looks good to me! Any way you style your hair will turn out fine cause of the health and thickness. Only suggestion I have is if moisturizers don't do what you're looking for in moisturize, you can try a leave in conditioner or hair milks. That's what I use. Hair butters are good to seal with if you don't want to use a oil. 😊😊😊
You do a good job on your hair relaxed or natural I been following ur journey for years it's crazy you big chopped a some months after I did I feel like the longer it get the more of a struggle it is lol 🤣🤣 but I'm slowly getting my footing kinda... lol 🤣🙃 but I love this hairstyle it so cute girl ur slaying as usual 💁🏽♀️
I love your hair and I’d say you’re doing a wonderful job. My natural hair tip for you is to get a mister bottle for your hair. It gives you mist to help saturate your hair better
Hey sis, your hair looks amazing. I love how thick and healthy it looks. Girl I have been playing in my hair too with wash and go's and two strand twist lol. I am thinking about getting a protector style to give my hair some rest. Great video. Thanks for sharing❤
@@SW33TSPARKL3 You're so very welcome! I've gone back & forward so much with my hair and when I feel like I want to give up your videos have helped me remember why I do this
You should get a good leave in conditioner. Hair lotions are really best for relaxed hair. If you deep condition every week you won't need to moisturize everyday. Also the tangle teezer brush with the handle really changed my detangling game.
I was just thinking about you and how your journey is going. I recently cut the rest of the relaxer off of my new growth, so I’m on this journey with you💕.
Looking goodt! To give me the definition I like, I find that I have to double twist the hair bw picking up hair when I do flat twists. Just my opinion, but I think the sponge swirling method works best to give definition on a twa. Use that sponge while you can - it takes much less time. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to do the comb/brush/finger definition styling once it gets longer
My hair has been natural since 2013 and I did my second big chop in 2018.. your hair looks GOOD.. if you get some box braids I bet it will take off. Enjoy your twa, easy wash day and easy detangles while you can. 😊.. I find the wetline gel with the dark blue top works best for my type 4 hair. That green top was too light
Thanks for the tips Cheri!! And i wish you a continued successful hair journey. For the month of December, I'll definitely be doing braids or twists as a protective hairstyle 💕
Beautiful! ☺️❤️👏🏾 Consider doing this style in the shower right after conditioning and detangling. Might save you some time and product. Love the video, keep em coming!

I actually love my hair how it is tbh. I wore my hair is an afro for awhile before doing the gel. nope, theres nothing wrong with relaxed nor natural hair. I love both. Good luck on your hair journey as well
Thank you so much 🤗 I'm learning and trying to be creative. I'll definitely be trying more soon, but some styles are tricky considering my length by in the next 6 months, I should be good to go
I did t know how to style my hair when I big chopped. I was so glad when my strands got to the length I could wear small plats even if they looked like little 💩.
You have a pretty good technique to be newly natural. However, a tip I would recommend is just using your brush or comb to detangle and not to define your curls because the end results are usually more frizzy.
Hi I have been natural since 2017 have you thought about doing a pixie cut or bob with your natural hair you have the face for it. I'm a straight hair natural.
Oh wow I need advice from you because I've actuality been thinking of being a straight hair natural. So you just blow dry and flat iron? And how long does it usually last between washes?
@@SW33TSPARKL3 when I get a press from a salon like once a month it's least me like three weeks or four in to I wash my hair at home. When I wash my hair at home once my press gets old I don't try to flat iron my hair myself I'm not good with the flat iron. So I just wear my hair frizzy in between presses
