This is a much better solution than bumperplugs! In case you get ticketed and have to revert back you still got basically the original holes and can put back on your license plate
The plugs are plastic so I’m afraid trying to force them through a 3/16 hole in the wood would either cause the plug to snap down the middle or the flange of the plug to just press into and embed in the soft wood. Worth a try though 👍
