@@dovygoodguy1296 outside of that retirement living could be most neighbourhoods if you want bungalow, also bungalow style townhouse condos are popular
What is it like for older retired people in places like Nutana and City Park, especially if they want to live in condos near amenities, stores, restaurants, etc.??
@@derekkerswell8596 I’m not sure if this is a beautiful skyline silhouette type comment or a sarcastic best thing is to leave type comment haha. I do understand both sentiments lol
They have to stop these developers from taking away all the greenery, all the evergreen trees and forests, and other green spaces because all those neighborhoods you showed it is way too sparse.
@@trueloveingod2691 ok fair enough is why I’m asking. There isn’t a lot of forest in saskatchewan until you go further north. A lot of bald prairie. Most of the development basically cuts into farmers field. Specifically referencing the neighbourhoods in this video that would be the case
Saskatoon roads have become incredibly over crowded to the point of insanity due to crazed immigration policies. The cities schools are beyond bursting. The housing is probably the most inflated in the entire world given that there are far less high oaying jobs than in bigger cities and that's fine at 1.9% financing.....but try a 450k loan at 7%. It's literally undoable for 90 percent of the population. 2026 will see a huge percentage of saskatonians lose their homes. That's one thing but there's literally nowhere to go as rental units are far over priced and almost impossible to find. 2026 will be a very bad year for Saskatoon but all of Canada in general. There will be a whole lot of homeless working people.
@@Hyberlol saskatoon is the second most affordable major city in all of canada. Small town saskatchewan is still very affordable for an alternative. Interest rates are a challenge no doubt. Roads are more under construction than crowded it takes 15 minutes to get anywhere in saskatoon. Schools yes in many cases but they are still building schools. Saskatoon is in demand and growing which is a good thing, beautiful city
@@saskatchewanrealtorwhile that’s correct I avoid it and Stonebridge at all costs. I love my old neighborhood and space. @@PunkRockGardener this is also true albeit a deliberate exaggeration in the analogy the older neighbourhoods definitely have much nicer space for yards and streets etc
@@saskatchewanrealtor I was j/k I actually find Saskatoon easier to get around and the "bad" neighbourhoods are more clearly contained where Regina seems like a maze of 50 zones with lights and every part is kind of sketchy .
