Great video but missing what I am looking for unless it is not a feature. Some people use their phone to pay at the till with a virtual card. How do I do that? Do I sign into banking. Then go to Cards, Virtual cards and tap........... How do I pay with tapping with my phone then I don't have to carry a card any more?
I only just discovered this in my app because my card was lost so i stopped it and i explored the virtual card option and so far i am loving the safety of it. Its so stressful and annoying to lose a card. So i can pay at a till point entering my details or tap or scan? No transfers needed no cards needed i can do everything from within my app itself? Also, the scanning option, is that also done from within the app? I see there is an option there that says Scan to pay when you go into transact.. is that where from i can do the scan to pay option? I have set my virtual card as the default for the scan option. so all in all there are three different ways to pay at till points so either way one of the three options will work at any till point?

Hi Angel, I hope you are doing well, Once your Virtual card is activated automatically it gains control of all your cards and accounts, savings account and credit card 💳 etc so as it is potentially has money in it already so you don’t have to worry about moving or transferring money from your normal account🤗🙏

I think apart from those 2 methods there isn't other methods cause i even had to uninstall the Capitec app as it refuses to work. I wanted to buy something on Takealot problem is when it comes to payment method cause it wants the card virtual card with CVV number etc and these new black Capitec cards no longer have card numbers written on them. Thanks though.

On your App click Cards and on the top right corner click Virtual under daily limit click update permanent Limit now do not click on update button before you change the figures to the amount that you wish to increase to so click and edit on the amount and press update button and you will be good to go👍🙏
The Virtual card does not tap its an Online payment process but if you are at till you ask the cashier to manually process the Virtual card by process him or her with the credit card details on the Virtual card, the Virtual card does not tap or scan to pay

@@iam_papad Hello I hope you are doing well, There has been some upgrades on Virtual Card you can now definitely Tap or Scan to pay but keep in mind most of the shop have not yet upgraded their old Speedpoints or credit card machines so sometimes it might be difficult to tap or scan to pay, if so please just kindly ask the cashier to do a manual charge providing the card details on the Virtual card, please kindly note that the cashier will also require the CVV number thus the 3 digits at the back of the Virtual card to complete the manual payment😊🙏

How do I transfer funds to the virtual card?
