Yeah they've already done it. Using a similar exploit, breaking an end gateway bedrock before it spawns

@AntVenom I am fairly certain that it was Hecate (another technical server) that first found how to get the bedrock item in 1.12. There have been a few exploits over the years to get it in other versions, but the "1.12" version is important because many technical servers play on it (the removal of a bunch of features, mainly flexible chunkloading, makes a lot of things not possible in newer versions, so we want to do everything before updating.)

That’s how recommended works
RegularHexahedron on the Minecraft forums figured out the enderpearl portal coordinate multiplication travel method before anybody on that server. Kudos to them for re-figuring it out and exploiting it several years later though.

That's a pretty impressive way to travelling around between ALL of Minecraft's world borders in such a short space of time, especially the flying machine setups that flew some 30 million blocks to reach specific destinations in the form of those End portals at that too!🤯👍👏

Well technically that's a glitch because you have to mess with them during population. A hack is obvious in definition, an exploit is using documented behaviour in unintended ways.

We have a weird and convoluted definition of "exploit" mainly no dupes (most of the time, exemptions exist, mainly for illegal items (example: stacked tools) in the museum, but never for material gain), and no mods/autohotkey stuff.

Stopping the flying machines at the right time would be easy. You just test flying machine designs and record there speed, then plug that into a slope formula and see how long it will take to reach 30 million blocks, then make a second faster flying machine, and use the same slope formula to figure out what time you would have to start it at to stop the original at the same time it hits the correct block.
Well, the issue of how they loaded all the chunks those machines would need to fly through aside, I dont get why they didnt just have three or four players (for redundancy in the inevitable case that some of them glitch out and fall off) sit on the flying machine with a timer set to go off when theyve reached their destination.

do a video about random glitches or something, kinda miss you breaking minecraft in strange yet amusing ways (such as negative days in minecraft bedrock with that weird looking moon or that weird optifine glitch in older minecraft versions)
I forgot the name of the video, but there's a glitch similar to this on bedrock where if you eat and enter a nether portal at the same time, the same stuff happens, and you teleport far.

Nah, NASA is still cooler than us. They strap an explosion to a metal box with a computer and a big battery, and get way more precise than we do. NASA is cool.

Tbf if they actually remove the world border, and minecraft would be as big as the sun, that theory about minecraft being the sun would make a lot of sense.
I think the enderpearl glitch works because when you throw the enderpearl in to portal, it teleports to the overworld, but can not do anything since you are not there to teleport with it. It thinks you went to the overworld, and multiplies your distance, although you didn’t actually go there and you still are in the nether.

Meanwhile I’m having problems figuring out how to automaticly turn-on my redstone lamps in my house.
