    I love your polished videos, and the work you put into them shows. But, if this is an example of your more casual style, you are killing it! I love the inspiration and confidence you convey. If being more relaxed works for your life, then I say lean in! You can put that production skill set to good use in your ecourses. 💕

    Hi Shayda! I love your "polished" videos, but it's also really nice to see you working this way. It's inspiring and it gets me in a creative mood! I could easily watch this kind of videos while create something at the same time. Don't hesitate to explore new stuff with us, because everything you are saying, all your creative advices and suggestions is really what makes all your videos unique and interesting.❤

    I am loving this new style of video, it definitely feels like sitting down to craft with a friend! This casual style makes the projects feel more achievable as well, sometimes the polished videos make it seem so easy and then i don't try them because i won't be able to recreate perfectly! Absolutely adore your content x i vote casual videos for 2024!

    I’ve followed you for years and basically learned to watercolor and letter from you and a handful of other similar You Tubers. I especially enjoy this style of video. The relaxing real time aspect makes your art seem so doable. I enjoy painting along with you and feel accomplished when I’m finished. Working along with you keeps me focused and motivated as well as inspired. I have purchased a class of yours and have watched it multiple times learning more each time, but these short simple videos on a regular basis would be like sweet gift throughout my week! ❤

    Love this video. I will try this next year, too much to accomplish this year. I was thinking about using a reindeer cookie cutter too. Also maybe do some blue instead of beige paint, since my ancestry is from Finland 🇫🇮. Thank you for the info on air dry clay. Happy Holidays ❤️🎄❤️

    Do you have a recommended dough or something to make the moulds? I think I missed that part. I love these! They're beautiful. Congratulations to your sister!! And to you on being an Aunty to another boy!💞 I do have a question about your editing software, which one do you use? I'm considering my own options since I am in a career transition point.

    Happy Holidays! Thank you, Shayda, for your inspiring artsy videos. I thought this one would be worth a try, and I followed your instructions (and talked my husband into joining me!) and encountered some challenges. I bought the same "air dry" porcelain clay, and it took SO LONG to dry. Is this normal? I'd really love to have you comment on this! How long did your take to dry? Did you actually bake them, and at what T/for how long, even though the clay is described as "air dry"? (Actually, it's been 4 days, and the ornaments are still a little bendy.) Don't know what to do about that. I also bought the least expensive crafting paint, and it's so runny that I ended up mixing it with a more viscous tube of acrylic warm white paint I had at home (much better, no streaking from the brush). My decorative patterns are not as lovely as yours but I got better with practice. Anyway, after losing patience with the "air dry" (had them in the oven on the "bread" setting overnight, even), I coated them with modge modge to give them a little sheen and protect the paint job. Now, 2 days later...they're still a little bit tacky. Not badly, though, so I'm going to mail a few off tomorrow!

      I leave them on a baking sheet for 24-48 hours. Glad yours worked out in the end!

    • @JenBlank
      @JenBlank Год назад

      Thank you for commenting, @@ShaydaCampbell . In the end, they turned out very nicely, and the tackiness went away after some additional air drying, so we were happy with the outcome. Happy New Year!
