    Absolutely stunning! I just discovered your channel, and I'm hooked. You should have 100,00 subscribers! We travel every other year to spend the holidays with grandchildren. We decided not to get all our holiday decor down, so I purchased the plastic village houses from Dollar Tree. I painted them white, and added glitter where the snow was. I have a huge cream serving platter that I placed as the centerpiece. I covered the bottom in epsom salts mixed with glitter, and placed the houses around the edges, facing outwards. I added different sizes of bottle brush trees, the largest in the middle. Then I placed the smallest village figures, a snowman, kids throwing snow balls, a man cutting wood and a vehicle with a tree on top..... all from DT!!! I put lights in the houses and around the village. Hopefully one of these years I can make these houses!!
    I did a similar vignette on my foyer table with a smaller tray covered in "snow" with gnomes on skis and trees. I put a table top tree up and call it a day!! I didn't even miss my real Christmas village, all packed up in boxes!

      This comment just made my day! Thank you so much for the kind words and I’m so glad you found my channel :) Your DT village sounds lovely! and your description has me imagining every detail. I think someone may need to start their own channel- you’re so creative! Epsom salt and glitter- I must try that

      @@joolieshome Well you just made MY day! Learning about the epsom salt/glitter mixture changed my crafting life, seriously. I have covered pine cones and ornaments with it, and sprinkled it over wreaths dotted with glue. The best part is it is so inexpensive, and I still have a huge bag leftover. And I reuse it every year.
      I have serious health issues that seem to be on fast forward these last few years. I take medication to suppress my immune system, so I was not able to take the covid vaccine. I have been home bound since the whole mess started. Crafting has saved me, as I have worked hard to keep a positive attitude.
      I used to take all my regular decor down and decorate every inch of my house. But, those days are gone, and I have had to find ways to simplify things. I have a large Christmas village, with each house in a large box. It takes several hours to unpack it and put it up. So the miniature village gave me the same cosy vibes, but can all fit in a small box to be put away for next year.
      I have been bingeing your videos, so thank you for all you hard work. You truly deserve so many more views and subs!! (Sorry for the long comment.)

    Hi! I loved this video! Could you tell me if it’s safe to use real flame tea-lights inside one of these clay homes? Thanks!

    • @joolieshome
      @joolieshome  2 месяца назад

      Thank you so much for watching! Air-dry clay isn’t designed to withstand high temperatures, so it could crack or even catch fire. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend a real flame tea light inside these :(

    Hi! Just a beginner here, what brand of air dry clay did you use?

    • @joolieshome
      @joolieshome  3 месяца назад

      Hi! Welcome to my channel :) I personally prefer the DAS air dry clay brand. There aren't many options available in Canada, so I lean towards that one!
