40 Minute Cardio and Abs Sweaty Circuit Workout | Breakthrough - Day 2

- Welcome to your abs and cardio workout! This workout is going to help you get in great shape and help to strengthen your core by providing you with a combo of cardio and ab work in every circuit. This workout is perfect for all fitness levels and you only need some water and a sweat towel!

In today’s workout we will work for 45 seconds and rest for 15 seconds in a circuit of 3 exercises. We will complete each circuit 3 times total before moving on. The training variables we are aiming for this month are strength and improving your conditioning so for today's workout I want you to really push yourself to go all out in each working set! The cardio exercises can be done on the ground for a low impact modification if you need that but try to push yourself however you perform these exercises. You’ll get the most out of the workout by pushing yourself to your highest intensity in our working periods and breathing in your rests to be able to execute the next set. Grab your water and be ready to get your heart rate up as we tone up with this bodyweight cardio workout!

3. Slide and 2 cross punches
4. Knee Drivers
5. Jackknives
6. Standing Climbers
7. Seated Twists with rope
8. Plank Drop Down and Burpee over rope
9. Bicycles
10. Slider Pikes

Day 2= ✔ I have been getting up the past 2 mornings and getting it done before I start my day! I have always struggled with getting up in the mornings to workout, but for some reason this time I have done it no problem! I changed my mindset, if you're reading this, YOU CAN DO IT TOO! OMG!!! I am a wet noodle after doing this. Even if I did it every day, it would be just as tough. Keep moving and stay consistent!!! ❤❤❤
whew! This 71 year old wants to reach her next birthday in about 6 weeks.....I found the burner exactly that! I have some rotator cuff issues in my r shoulder so was extra careful not tototally push myself to the extreme.Still very sweaty so worked hard. Off to do my usual swim with perhaps more emphasis on my legs after this work out. Perhaps not 2 k today ! or maybe I will when I get there! Whoa, I was riding the struggle bus big time with today’s workout. Having a couple of weeks off from my routine for the holidays has definitely made it tough to re-enter the world! But I will get back on track. Starting with going to bed earlier. Thanks for the encouragement, Sydney.❤
Cardio/Conditioning is my greatest weakness in exercise these days, which is ironic since I used to love mid-distance running and conditioning. However, one of my non-negitiables for 2024 is to be grateful for my strengths and to work diligently on my weaknesses . So, rather than substitute a strength-based workout for today's Cardio/Abs, I just said to myself, "You got this girl -- all in.. Let's go!"

Crushed it!! I actually loved the plank burpees because they were so dynamic. Sometimes I get distracted when I’m doing the same thing over and over lol, but those definitely got me out of my mind and into my body!
For a former cardio junkie, this was so much fun and the time flew by! Loved the focus on core, really felt the connection with this one!
2nd we didn't have weighted core and I felt it more this way

Great push! Taking inventory of what holds me back (late starts etc) and it's for sure my nutrition and not getting to bed on time. I've let myself indulge and continue that into 2024 and choose social media before bed so time to turn the page on those habits to get my early start with these workouts and that helps me start my day making those wise healthy happy decisions.

👑💪❤️🔥 I would like to see a breakthrough in my nutrition. “Healthy meal prep” is a gift I gave to myself last year and I want to build on that foundation. Controlling gut and thigh fat and building muscle, strength, endurance, and flexibility is my focus.
My core is on fire aswell 😉
