As soon as he got here, they were working on his mechanics so a lot of other things were behind. That's why only now is he really taking off, well that and the OL finally giving him time and the playcalling adapting. He's running this offense like it was made for him. People kept saying "the only reason he has such a high completion rate was because he just throws 5 yard routes. Well over the last 2 games, he has went on the road and at home now vs a top 10 team with technically a much better defense than the team he played on the road, and he completed 73% of his passes (44/60) for 597 yards with 5 TDs to 0 ints. Extremely efficient. He is Joe Burrow efficient. I have never seen that out of any other QB at LSU since JaMarcus Russell back in 2006.

you never *want* to lose obviously, but the loss to Tennessee clearly snapped something into place for LSU. both sides of the ball are playing with an energy they haven't had in years.
If LSU had played Southern in week one, and gotten a warm up game before FSU like FSU did with Duquesne, they would have won and would be 7-1 right now.

That’s just insane how in the first half score is 17-3 and then LSU gets 44 unanswered points, except for field goal. I don’t know what “adjustments” were made but that’s what I call coaching
I don’t see them making it to the playoffs unless chaos happens. Now if they had beaten FSU and played Tennessee closely (or beat them in a potential rematch if the season goes that way) u could see them making it. However, a big blowout loss and an L to a team that’s 4-3 don’t look great.
Every week LSU gets better. Judging by what he has managed to do in only year one with what he had to work with, Kelly in Baton Rouge could be a problem for the SEC.
It was, LSU has always had the talent but in 2020 Half of the big time players opted out including chase. Then last season 8 of the 11 starters on defense got hurt and it really hurt LSU when stingley and ricks both went out.

And the Vols don't need anybody to look good if they have a loss and win the SEC they're in there's no doubt about it they are that good the Vols are in like potentially we could see Tennessee and Georgia in there if it plays out like that but we will see I think Kentucky beats Georgia too I'm a Kentucky Homer but the way we play that NFL style pro set offense we can beat anybody if Levis is healthy and the offensive line keeps his jersey clean Rodriguez covers up a lot of the gaps from the offensive line cuz Levis gets hit a lot we need to clean his jersey up and keep from getting hit so much but that speed of Tennessee is just so dangerous and George's defense is so fierce and the depth is so deep in their quarterback is so smart he'll never turn the ball over and they just play great football Tennessee and Georgia are awesome to watch I love this conference I love this game I love the SEC, and by no means don't think Alabama is done they could run the table and they're going to get in cuz that'll be a win over Georgia but it all remains to be seen there's so much football left especially these rivalry games who knows Auburn could f*** Alabama all the way up just like Kentucky could f*** Tennessee all the way up

I don’t see them making it to the playoffs unless chaos happens. Now if they had beaten FSU and played Tennessee closely (or beat them in a potential rematch if the season goes that way) u could see them making it. However, a big blowout loss and an L to a team that’s 4-3 don’t look great.

It was, LSU has always had the talent but in 2020 Half of the big time players opted out including chase. Then last season 8 of the 11 starters on defense got hurt and it really hurt LSU when stingley and ricks both went out.
