While it’s not probable it’s very possible this is college football still and we have a team playing loose with nothing to lose as they have torn all the expectations up from the beginning of the season and have the state of Louisiana excited about tigers football again after the dumpster fire coach O left here! Still incredible to be in this position considering how it all started, and no body would have thought we would be here before the season started! Even if we are just competitive against Bama I will take that all day and consider it a step in the right direction regardless of the score! We got a bye week let’s go see what we can copy from Tennessee and what else house can scheme up to stop them! I hope Eli plays against us and gets burned!

LSU has showed improvement every week since week 1. Tennessee is a better team, but I think LSU played better than the score board showed. Props to BK for having his team in this position

When the special teams, on their own, spots them 10 points barely 2 minutes into the game and gives them an extra possession in the process, it'll make any team look worse than they are.
Would love a rematch…hopefully we see them again in the SEC Championship game…without those early special teams blunders that is a different ball game

@@grantgoleman6786 It’d be close, not only would they have to win out against some stiff competition, Bama and Georgia or Tennessee, but no 2-loss team has ever made the playoffs, and that loss against FSU is sort of a black eye on their playoff hopes. Even if they are a different team now, the playoff committee looks at the whole of a team’s season. Granted there is a slight chance, but a very slight one.
That first down was not a first down on the 4th and 1 call, that was a big time call luckily Fouche said don’t worry bout it and snagged a one handed int out of the endzone!

LSU, play Harold Perkins the entire game. He didn't start, and Ole Miss scores TDs on their first two drives. Then 3 first downs into drive number 3 and Brian Kelly puts Perkins in, LSU holds them to a field goal, and doesn't allow another touchdown the rest of the game.

The QB made a lot of smart runs. That will keep in safe. The front offense line looks good!! Safeties and corners still need a lot of work. Too many missed tackles!! Too many completed passes!! Check please... Don’t want this to hunt us in the future. “Great Game” Go Tigers!!!
Exactly what I saw! The DBs got bailed out multiple times from wide open receivers dropping passes or a couple wide open receivers that jaxon dart missed the throw on! I know atleast 5 of these would’ve been big plays and changed the game. Those are plays a better team will complete every time. Tackling still bad but I think I saw a very slight improvement this week but still the safeties need to get better! Hopefully getting major burns back next game will help us in tackling and safety play!
I see the same fools that were clowning Daniels about his ability to throw are quiet now.

Uh Daniel's did nothing before the Tenn game to merit any kind of confidence in his throwing. I dunno what games you were watching. Just took him longer than usual to figure his receivers out

The problem with him early on was he lacked confidence in throwing it not wanting to make a mistake. now since the Tennessee game he has gotten better. If you're expecting him to throw for 300+ yds each you're sadly mistaken

Lmao the difference in the lsu games this year has been the qb play n penalties.. they coulda beat Tennessee (as crazy as it sounds) if they didn’t beat they’re selves
LSU hurt themselves against vols. Penalties and failed fourth downs put them behind from the start. And that fumbled kick did not help. Tenn defense gave up 49 points to Bama wihich shows they a offensive team. Team with a good defense will beat them.

Completely different offense if you ask me! Something clicked in Daniels after that loss or durring that loss and he has been a new QB ever since, it’s almost crazy how quickly he went from not throwing anything remotely covered to throwing into double coverage and just letting Jenkins do his thing and snag the damn ball!
Yeah LSU is a different team but Tennessee is on another level. Georgia is the only team with a chance to slow down that offense but I don’t think they will

Well Tenn is a scoring machine. They are legit a Top 5 team with an incredible quarterback. LSU didn't execute well offensively that game and got jumped on early. Daniels still threw for 300 that game it just didn't translate into points, so there were signs that Daniels was unlocking more down-field potential, even in that blow out loss.
That just leaves Tennessee and Georgia the last undeafeted teams in the SEC.

It’s just like last year with the Rebels! I’m a die hard fan and they’ve turned that program around from where it was after Freeze left. But I noticed last year and this year the fast paced no huddle offense they run just doesn’t work when you don’t have the depth on the roster to be able to rotate guys. They do good first of the drive and by the time they’re in red zone they are gassed and can’t finish a lot of times! And defense same thing not a lot of depth on the D line and then the secondary is playing a zone coverage 10 yards off the receiver and still get burned down field. I honestly believe the Rebels have the potential to be great even still this season and also in years to come but the players and coaches have to get more consistent and more disciplined!
Nice to see Olay Miss play someone on the road. Talk about getting pounded! LSU is going to give Alabama all sorts of problems. Should be fun to watch. For that punk Kiffin...ya gotta play some defense.

Not discrediting LSU offense but Old Miss have no Defense. They’ve kept explosive offenses last few yrs which has helped Kiffin record since he’s been there. All I took was a team with a gritty defense to stop them and LSU did that with the help of an obnoxious crowd.

The 4th and 1 needs to be reviewed by the SEC ref oversight committee whoever that may be and file a complaint or something! And BK did chew out Perkins but also said “hey I’m bout to put you right back out there so forget it and go make a play!” I absolutely loved seeing that out of coach, coaching the freshman in game! And then to see the moment between him and boutte at the end of the game with his arm wrapped around him! I think he is much more of a father figure than coach O could’ve been to these guys! O was one of the bros lol and BK is a father figure leader and mentor and cares about these kids education because he knows most won’t make it and even the ones that do can always benefit from that education as he actually loves these kids! Some nfl careers are short but if you know what to do with that money and have a backup college degree you can still be set for life, I bet BK has a few stories of kids he has coached like this that came back to thank him for his focus on that part of “college” football!
It doesn't show up on replay, but when he was down on the ground the offensive lineman poked his hand through his face mask. Perkins was so pissed, I'm sure he said all kind of things rightfully so.
at the end of the play, an offensive lineman helped himself up using Perkins facemask and the young buck took offense to that!

Crazy JD has been able to stay healthy his entire career basically running and taking those type of hits with his undersized frame and little less than avg weight for a QB in the SEC! He is a dawg that’s all it is!
