- We drove to Cedar City to check out their farmers market. It was delightful and we re-connected with new friends we met earlier at the St George City Market last month. We were thrilled with their report about how our viewers are supporting their mushroom growing business.

I’m enjoying being part of your discoveries. Thank you Pam and Jim.
Thank you! Jim
God bless the Farmers 🙏
Wonderful farmer's market!
I love St. George area. I lived in St. George. I lived Hurricane. I graduated from an extension of Weaver State University in 1987 in St. George through Dixie College. I do remember a farmers market back then it was so long ago, but it was very small. Nothing like this. This is awesome now I live in the desert. Thank you for bringing this and making people in the area aware of what’s going on what they might be missing out on. I love your channel.❤
I graduated from Southern Utah State College in 1987! You probably can hit the Shakespeare festival as well.
Enjoyed watching you at the farmers market.
Thanks for taking us along on your adventures!
I’ve grown French breakfast radishes for a few years. They’re absolutely delicious!
I just love you guys. You are amazing people with how you are showing what people can get locally and helping small businesses ❤. I pray for many blessings for you
Thank you so much!
Thank you for visiting our farmers market! We’d love to have you out to our farm next time you visit Cedar City!! ❤️❤️
@naturehillsfarm
@festivalcityfarmersmarket
Thanks! Jim
Love it you were in my neck of the woods
Thank you for these videos! We live in St. George- on a mission in Fiji. You give me a little taste of home!
That is awesome! Thanks for your comment.
French breakfast radishes are wonderful! Wonderful to hear about the mushrooms folks! Those tacos look amazing.
Yes they are! We are enjoying them! Thanks, Mary.
Thank you. All of the counties in Kentucky have a special weekend for a special product that they have. I love getting to as many as possible.
That is awesome! Thanks for letting us know. Jim
Love to see farmer's markets! The camera work was a little rough on this video, but I love to see the different producers around your area!
I agree, the camera work is a little shaky, since is is a completely different setup. Jim
Keep up the farmers markets visits! Highlighting small local producers means ALOT to the folks turning dirt into food!
That's the plan! Jim
I am in Cedar City, It's actually only about 5800 feet in elevation. Wish I had gone to the Farmers Market when yo were there. Glad you got to go. We are usually about 10 degrees cooler than St. George.
If you see us when we are out and about, stop and say hello. Jim
@@RoseRedHomestead Will do!
Lol. Jim was distracted. It's been in the 90's here & so humid.
I see y’all were there just last weekend, but sad it was before I showed up.
Sad you didn’t talk to my favs The Prickly Hippie, Nature Hills, The Honey Guy
Well, if you see us there or around, stop us and say hello. Jim
Thank you! Wondering why Jim/ husband is wearing a jacket in such hot weather? To protect from sun?
It is a lightweight shirt and yes--sun protection.
Cedar actually has 3, yes really 3, farmers markets.
That is great! Jim
I’ve always wanted to try the French breakfast radishes, but never have found any.
Thanks for taking us along! It looks there is a variety of booths. How fun to run into "your" mushroom guy! I'm glad their business is doing well. Thanks for posting their info.
Those radishes are beautiful! Can't wait to see what you do with them
I, too, have heard of them, but have never seen them around here.
Did you get a cantaloupe?
Yes, we did buy a cantaloupe. Jim
Geez Jim you couldnt get off the camera fast enough!!!! My how I laughed......:)xxx
Was I just a flash in the market? Jim
@@RoseRedHomestead Lol....well that too but it was at the end of the clip that cracked me up....reminded me of my husband trying very hard to seem interested but would i just please hurry up cos something else has grabbed his attention :) xxx
The farmers markets up there don't have produce! Is that because it's so hot, dry and short on water? You should see our farmers markets over here in Illinois... vegetables, fruits, herbs, galore. It's so great that you have food storage because I see your shortage on farmers market harvest.
Yes, but the downside to abundant farmer's market produce is actually living in Illinois. Much prefer the free state of Utah, thanks...
A lot of “Farmer’s” Markets seem more like a craft and food fair nowadays. I know it depends on season and availability, but I’m finding it somewhat of a misnomer.
Tell the Taco seller he should serve some breakfast tacos or burritos in the mornings. Maybe chorizo & eggs or something and some different coffees, teas, muffins, etc. Then he might get more early customers.
Great idea!!
Credit card for a $2 purchase is a hardship for the farmer, as he has to pay merchant fees. Please think about that, thanks.
Thank you for your comment. I rarely use a card on $2.00. Jim
Unfortunately there’s no other way to document the business expenses
@@mush3199 They have a video of the purchase.
It fascinates me how you film everything. Do you use your cell phone or do you use a special camera for your videos?
Did you forget your cantaloupe?
Yes and we didn't realize it until we got home. Darn!
You are so cute.... do you love doing RUclips? I really want to try it. :)
Yes, we really do enjoy it. You should try it!!! We find it very rewarding to help people with our channel info.
