Haha...great intro. Got a super freek last week, put a deep carry clip on it, and it's my edc. The looks, the feel in hand, m4 steel. I have six benchmades and this guy is my instant favorite.

I just got the regular Freek today. It took several hours to "break it in" and it works fine. I'm happy with the S30v steel. I don't like the rubber grip when I try to put it in my pocket. I would like the super freek but not for that kind of money. I, too, am budget minded and my knife was on sale at BladeHQ. Down the road, I hope to find a nice pair of scales as they are hard to find currently. Except for the grips, which are fine when in use, I'm satisfied...so far. Love the review, sir.
Tore mine down and polished the portion of the blade that lyes inside the Handel and it's amazingly smooth I also put a short deep carry Saibu clip on it. Awesome knife. That intro got me I flew into the dance LOL great Review come on mini

Except super freak came out in 1981 and cant touch this came out in 1990

Great review. That is a really good looking knife. The G-10 scales are beautiful. A satin finish stainless blade would be really nice.

The blade coating is a good addition to the M4 knife steel that lacks corrosion resistance.

$191 puts it directly in line with the Maxamet Manix2 LW. In my estimation that's the closest apples to apples comparison... I'm currently shopping both with a budget for one knife
I had the manix LW, it was the cts bd1 version. I would go super freek in m4 over the manix. Both great, but this is next level compared to my old manix lw.
Spyderco Gayle Bradley 2 gives you 3.4" of non-coated M4 for ~$170 but you can get Super Freek for ~$160 from GPKnives.com. Better comparison IMO.

Great review. Since I have large hands I would love to get this knife. Problem is cash right now. Tried trading no one seems interested so working on selling some to get it. Again great review hit all the high points.

Nice video man. I used to want a Freek and a Super Freek but I've decided against buying them
I have the knife, I love the knife! Agree o. The coating should be optional. I am very tough on my knife and the coating does scuff, which most comes off or disappears pretty much with a cleaning and oil, however I do have a couple that won't come out. Very tough knife overall though, and I believe it's at a good price point

Only had mine for 2 days. Looked down and a screw was missing. 2 days of light opening\closing and that happens? My second Benchmade with issues out of the box. Not saying they are not great knives, but very annoying at this price point.
Is it wrong of me to say the only folder I care for anymore is my small sebenza and bug out?!
