    That 1715 storm must have been a doosey it sank several hundred boats and finished the Easdale slat industry literally over night. It is said that the spray crossed the island witch is almost as impossible as it is terrifying.

      After seeing it in person. I say what they need is a structural engineer to look at it. It's possible that water got in between the base of the wall and the foundation and caused some kind of liquefaction. Either way if it did slide it would have brought down the whole rest of the structure. It's equally possible it's a hoax.
