Between 2:44-2:46 there's an orb that appears at a leaf at the middle right above the tombstone and floats behind it to disappear behind the statue on the left of the stone.

As someone who volunteers to clean and conserve grave sites, I think it’s sad to see a cemetery in that state, especially when many of the burials are not that old. It seems like after the people were buried, they were forgotten. The vegetation will destroy those stones and monuments until they are eventually unreadable. But I suppose most of us are destined to be forgotten eventually.

    • @SerenitySueGraveyards

Hi Kelly, believe me I've seen a lot worse, we don't really clean Graves here at all maybe only personal family graves it's sad but ye, I've come to that conclusion too we will all be forgotten.

I know what you mean. I was just up in Connecticut Vermont Massachusetts New Hampshire, Maine and Pennsylvania and we stopped at some cemeteries that have my ancestors in them. The headstones are so hard to read that I couldn’t really get good pictures of them.

Unfortunately, in many places, there are no county or town organizations or money to keep cemeteries picked up. Plus, I think vandals look for opportunities like this old cemetery to break headstones, push them over, etc. Then, too, many stones are very hard to read because they are not marble and the stone used (granite many times) does not hold up well to the elements. Wears away with time. Always so sad to me.

Thanks Sue for looking at this cemetery!
The two mausoleums are very cool, and shows the natural process of decay.
I have a story for you!
There was a story I heard as a young man, about the worlds best escape artist being put in a room that was claimed to be escape proof.
They told the man he had 30 minutes to try and escape from the room for a prize of $1000!
He was put in the room, and he spent the entire 30 minutes checking the ceiling, the floor and all four walls for a way to escape.
After 30 minutes he gave up and knocked on the door and said he gave up, to which the person who built the room, pushed the unlocked door open!
So never forget to give the doorknob a check for being locked or not!

We have a local pyramid crypt, Called Rucker's Tomb, after one of the founding families of Everett WA. Many years ago, we were hanging out at the cemetery, it used to be a thing to do to climb up to the top of the pyramid, (it was made of large blocks of stone, like big steps) and we noticed the door was open. The door was a huge slab of stone, but opened easily, with no creaking or ghostly noises. it was empty, the burials all being enclosed in the walls, and since we didn't have a flashlight (it was night, of course) we couldn't see any plaques. I believe it's still used as a family burial, with the last few Ruckers to be interred someday. It was built in probably the 1920s, Everett is a pretty new town, compared to your areas lol. Just a little story from years ago.

      @nicolek1676 2 года назад

@@SerenitySueGraveyards it looks like a recent headstone (not that old)
My theory is that someone who maybe involved in military history had discovered Christina was laid to rest in this cemetery and put a request into “honours and medals” section of DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs), mind you this is what we refer this section and veterans affairs in Australia.
Every serving veteran who has passed or was killed during their service are entitled to a military gifted plaque or headstone at no cost to the family or the person who requested this headstone.
There are so many veterans out there across the commonwealth including our allied countries that don’t realised their loved ones are entitled to these plaques or headstones.

These final resting places are in pretty good shape considering their age. I would like to visit that area. Here in the states we have a limited number of hundred-year-old crypts.. Not much to see in old crypts. I think there is a natural curiosity in old cyrpts and cemeteries.

Hi Sue and GV. What a wonderful surprise; this graveyard is. When you first entered it looked like a fairy land. Then finding those two Crypts was the cherry on top. I do hope someone sees this and can lock the door on the pyramid one. 🤞💚 It should not be unlocked.🤦‍♀

Beautiful countyside.. all the greenery 🥰 Ireland is very beautiful land. My grandma said her, and her brother & father went to visit family, over there, even at age 12, around 1934, she remembered the beauty, said it was majestical 🦋 I miss her so much, she told me so many stories, she was very proud of her Irish heritage ☘ She would tell me so many Irish sayings/poems , I can't remember them😥 I wish I wrote them down.

How curious that the pyramid mausoleum sits so close to the “stone castle” shape on the hill- the planning was not thought out if they intended to have a proper cemetery! This is unlike many of the cemeteries you’ve toured- the headstones and markers are just scattered willy nilly with dates from 1800’s to mid 1900’s! It leaves me curious about it- but what a gorgeous place to visit- thank you!

What a beautiful little graveyard….it looked so peaceful, but so uncared for…such a shame. Sone beautiful newer gravestones, and that poor young lady from wartime, aged only 19. Bless her. Wonder where the rest of her family are buried? Seems sad she is in that tiny area all by herself. If only these stones could talk, what a lot of stories they could tell. That was a lovely visit, Thankyou both of you…glad you didn’t go over on an ankle!! Stay safe! Love and light! Helen xx💕🙏😜
