Gotta say I like the Grave Before Shave products a lot. I have several of their oils and balms that I love to use, each leaving a fresh scent and my beard feeling soft and looking well.
While I am a scissor trim person today, I loved using Wahl clippers for my beard. Aside from the width, the combs came in lengths that ordinary beard trimmers would not use.
I'm enjoying my beard and wanted to say thanks for all of the info. I just received my beard oil and balm from Honest Amish and what a difference it made. Wow! Great channel and content!!
Got my Brio beardscape trimmers back in July and absolutely love them! Great customer service and were very nice and helpful with any questions about the product
Tonight I unpacked my Beardscape trimmer and Kent combs based on your review. After combing then trimming my grey beard...I have to say it and I look slamming. Ahmazing products!!
Scuba I want to thank you man. Before learning so much for you over the last year+ my howl game has changed. Learning for you changed everything for the better. So fucking thanks dude👊🏼
Thanks for leading me to the free sample bottles! I chose Spiced Latte and Citrus Spice just out of pure curiosity. When I told my boyfriend which scents I chose, he made a face, but it's more my beard, than his, and it's free, so, YOLO, lol.
bought the Brio trimmers because of your recommendation, love them, and I will vouge for their customer service as well. I use the trimmers for my head as well, again, they work amazing!
Those beard wipes aren't a beard oil alternative. They are meant for cleaning your beard and especially moustache when you get food or some other shit in it. The oils in it is just a bonus.
I just tried your recommendation for honest Amish. I will say that I am impressed. smells good and I haven't seen shipping so fast. I received the order the next day and I didn't pay for overnight shipping. thanks for the info bud
Just started watching your videos and I enjoy it plus it's very informative. I just started growing mine not to long ago but taking your recommendations. Congrats you received my first RUclips comment ha. Thank and keep up the videos please.
The remington beard trimmer he criticised, I bought it recently based on many Amazon reviews. I can confirm it's rubbish. Even on the longest setting it took half of my heard off. Avoid.
Gibs, same company. Softest beard oil ever. How are more people not talking about this? Been out for years, NEVER had another oil make my beard as soft as GIBS.
The 2 best stylists I have ever met are water and gravity. No comb, maybe a little brush on the sides. Baby shampoo. Nature at it's finest. I get that Greek statue sculpted look of orderly waves and texture. No blow dry.
Some good beard product companies are Bearded Botanicals, The Beardsman Oil Co., Mahoney’s Beard Brew, AJ’s Elixers, Viking Oils, just to name a couple small companies I’ve used.
Metal beard combs are bad for your beard? super sharp edges? Obviously your are choosing poor quality metal beard combs or you know nothing about metallurgy. As a metalsmith I guarantee you I can make a beard comb from ANY metal that would be softer than any wood comb you would run through your beard. HMU and I'll tell you how. Not roasting you, I just know it is possible to have a GOOD, Quality metal beard comb.
What about wooden beard combs and boar bristle brushes? Also what do you think about that brand boss man beard oil jelly? Would you use it? Recommend it?
Anybody have experience with BioTopic beard oil/facial hair serum? Been using it for a little while and like it, smells good and seems to be working for growth. Question is, is it healthy for my skin/beard? What’s a better option?
The "Premium Men's Beard Oil" isn't that bad. I bought it off of Amazon. But you're absolutely right! It's nearly impossible to get out of that small bottle.
New to the beard but have used four different beard oils. My two favorites so far Every Man Jack & Honest Amish. EMJ Smells great & works well & the oil substance is lite. Honest Amish Premium beard oil is thicker than EMJ & helped hold my beard the way I wanted it better than EMJ did. I Will say Honest Amish scents won’t be for everyone.
How long should it take for your beard to start noticing to feel softer man I’ve been doing what you say for a month and I still feel the same and still have the same itch at work I do work in a warehouse and I use all honest Amish products
If your beard is anything like mine (quite course and curly) a hot comb will make it feel softer immediately. Just gotta make sure you treat it to some oil afterwards.
For a small amount of storage for your favorite beard oil one of those glass cologne sample bottles works great as long as you wash it well. Wouldn't trust it in my pocket but great for the truck or desk. Beard on
Lol yea or just leave the beard oil in the 1 oz container it came in originally and stick it in your center console.. don’t have to reinvent the wheel here guy lol 😅
Any thoughts on the Philips Norelco Stainless Steel All-in-one trimmer? Got it as an x-mas gift, used it once and it seems good. I'm new to having a beard though, and wanted advice. Thanks.
I know this video has been out for awhile, but I'm fairly new to your channel and been playin some catch up. Have you ever used Cremo brand products? If so what are your thoughts?
I have been using a Kent comb for years. You can't get much better. There are some metal combs made by Bigredbeardcombs they have great beard care products but they are a bit pricey like beardbrand
x1000 on the Kent Combs, made a drastic reduction in tangles/split ends/strays/etc. I got one for my wife too and she also noticed an improvement in her head hair by using one.
I'm really into Bossman Beard Products right now. I just ordered their Mudstache wax and metal beard comb. It's powder coated to eliminate rough edges. Have you tried it out yet?
Those metal beard combs are the worst type of combs made. Wouldn't let that crap touch my face even if they payed me. Great vid bro bro. Lots of insights 💯 Have you heard about the "HOT BEARD AFRO PICK 2.0"? It's an electrical hair pick.
Hey scuba, glad to see you're promoting Honest Amish. I've been away for awhile but I remember having a discussion with you on their premium oil. Do you remember? Have you been using it? Do you like it?
Just started following your channel. I like what I've seen!!! Have you ever tried the "Live Bearded" products? I've had good success with them. And the prices are pretty decent!
I am only 1 year into caring about my beard an worst oil was Cremo I liked Honest Omish but switched to Beard Guys products, love the smell. Cremo does make a thickening shampoo that I think is ok so far. I will prob try Grave befor Shave brand products next.
Great videos. I am new to the beard growing thing. Been shaving for over 25 years and now decided its beard time. My beard is growing well but drying out during as the day goes on. I use artiusman oil. Is it ok if i use a small amount of beard oil 3-4 times a day?
Everyone is different. It's not going to hurt you to add some extra oil to your beard as needed, so go ahead. Don't wash it every day. 2-3 times a week is plenty. It can get wet daily when you shower, just don't strip the oils out of your beard daily. Make sure your priority with oil is getting it down to your skin where it's going to itch and feel dry. If you get the oil in deep it's going to hydrate and you're going to feel less dry and itchy. 👍 Feel free to join us over on Reddit at /r/beards if you have any more questions!
Like many beardies, I have a stack of products that turned out to be less than ideal. I think the most annoying is the heated brush. It turns out it straightens my darker hairs, but my white hairs were still coming out at all angles. It's not hugely effective on a short beard, needing some length to make a big difference. And the look it creates is unnatural. Beard hair is supposed to have some waviness! So the brush is only really useful for people who have very curly long beards.
I found a small artisan company on ETSY called The Better Soap Company and their products have been great for my beard. Beard soap, oil, and balm are all good. They have several different scents and Sheri will even custom make one for you if you choose. That's what I did and she let me name it. "Den of Sophisticates" lol. And no I am in no way affiliated, just like their stuff.
Thanks for the great videos brother. Do you have any product that you don't use that you could send my way? I'm counting pennies over here ...hahaha! You're the best!
Just subscribed. Could you do a review on the Beard Guyz stuff. Ive only ever used it cuz i like the fact its all natural ingredients. Or just a written response if uve tried it. Thanks in advance sir
Hey Man. New follower, about 8 months in to my new beard so I'm lovin all your content right now. What do you think about Salt Water spray? I saw it first from BeardBrand but I've seen other companies make it as well. I have what I would call a medium length beard, similar is texture to yours, just not quite as thick. Is it a product I should consider using? Thanks
I use bad ass beard care for years and love it. I recently went different and got some balm and oil from mod cabin I love it maybe test some of thoes out dude
Thanks for thr vid, Scuba! And thanks for the Derma-Nu beard oil review. I purchased a bottle and it is, hands down, the best beard oil I've ever owned. Smells great, feels great, and really nourishes my skin. Also, FYI, Walmart picked up Honest Amish (at least in PA, not sure about the rest of the world) so now beardsmen can just walk into Walmart and grab some of the best beard products on the market.
BeardTube CVS here in Indiana has Beard Guyz. And a few other brands. I'll be honest, I am not new to growing a good thick mane. Although I am a newbie when it comes to products. Used the entire Beard Guyz line for the first time today, and I am completely loving this shit!!! Came across your channel when I searched for beard care tips and your awesome man! I just had to subscribe! Keep pumping out good content and honest reviews! And thank you!
Dude, you've got to try Gibbs beard oil.. So many people talking about honest Amish, I bought some and I'm not even going to use the rest of it. The Gibbs blows honest Amish out of the water, makes my beard soft, well under control and it's so much less greasy than the honest Amish.. try it out
You haven't done a video like this in a while.. I like it.. what's your take on wooden combs? Would you ever cut your beard shorter that what you have?
Got a question: I have six months of growth and it's about 3 1/2 inches. I'm grateful it's full, but lately I've been noticing small patches on my cheeks appearing. I know hairs fall out naturally, but I'm concerned so I switched from the kent comb and got the beardbrand $20 wide tooth comb. Should I be concerned when I comb it? Not trying to pull anything out...lol...switch seems to be the case.
What about the top part of your beard .. of the L on your checks > side burns to your head hair... that looks well faded then the lower part of your side burns gets longer into your beard... how to you fade the top part of the side burns and beard where it makes the L shape ?
It would be really awesome if you could do a review of cheaper beard products like every man jack and others that can be bought at Walmart or local stores
Unless you buy it by the gallon, aren't all beard oils portable?
"And by heck I mean fuck"
😂😂
Gotta let the people know :)
Thanks!!I Love My Kent Comb!!!Got the Fine/Coarse Tooth Large,Feels amazing combing my beard and very relaxing.Along with the Spartans Den!!

I have several of their oils and balms that I love to use, each leaving a fresh scent and my beard feeling soft and looking well.
I've used gbs for years killer.....love the teakwood
I use the butter over oil now last longer on my huge beard
While I am a scissor trim person today, I loved using Wahl clippers for my beard. Aside from the width, the combs came in lengths that ordinary beard trimmers would not use.
Yea I've never tried a full scissor trim
I'm enjoying my beard and wanted to say thanks for all of the info. I just received my beard oil and balm from Honest Amish and what a difference it made. Wow! Great channel and content!!

You passed that, Dan. 😁

Picked up some Honest Amish today. Decided to commit a FULL year to my beard with the encouragement of my girlfriend. Love your videos.
I like honest Amish but I'm allergic to it. Sucks.
Just got my Honest Amish products yesterday. Two thumbs up!
Those beard wipes aren't a beard oil alternative. They are meant for cleaning your beard and especially moustache when you get food or some other shit in it. The oils in it is just a bonus.
Idunnow, they don't feel like they would clean much of anything that a napkin wouldn't clean
Aaron Marino talked about the Brio as well. A couple of you guys are making them sell out quickly. Keep up the good work.
I just tried your recommendation for honest Amish. I will say that I am impressed. smells good and I haven't seen shipping so fast. I received the order the next day and I didn't pay for overnight shipping. thanks for the info bud
I've always used wooden Combs but I won a metal comb from no shave life. Gave it away instantly. One use was like Shaving with an old rusty razor
I have used that oil you showed on number 4. I thought I was the only one. That stuff is ridiculous!! Loved the video
Got my two free samples, god I love your videos. So informative!
glad you got your samples man!! They have really good oil
Badass beard care and fable are pretty good. Thanks for the videos and tips!!!

Uppercut also does great combs, Unfortunately, they don't make a small moustache comb like Kent does (the 81T model).

The purpose of a metal comb, like a Chicago Comb, is to double as an impromptu weapon. It's not explicitly stated, just a wink and a nod.
