Man this band saves my world without their music. Watching this makes me Love this band even more. They don’t say anything on stage and its cool to see an interview from a rad dude (Mike) that keeps to himself. Very inspiring and a lot of ppl resonate to their creativity. Much love ❤️
Im not even a guitar player, here i am. This dude is super humble and a very good speaker even being not much extrovert. Russian Circles now a days is one of my favorite bands and i finally gonna see them in São Paulo in Brasil. Their music is so well written, very nice melodies with heavy riffs.
@@trapdeath rapaz... não fui hhahhaha, triste demais , eu sou do Rio ai eu tinha que matar o trabalho, nem deu. Porra, quarta feira bicho, horrivel para chegar haha. Fiquei triste p cacete.
I was absolutely blown away by Mike's presence during the Glasgow gig recently. I’ve always loved the music, but there and then I fell in love with the people behind it. And this interview shows a side that was completely foreign to me. Of course the makers of such soundscapes are wonderful human beings. How could it be otherwise? We’re lucky to be alive in the same timeline as Russian Circles.
Seen em twice in dallas over the past couple years and I listen all the time. Best music for road trips and Guidance is best while driving through the mountains. Gnosis fuckin RIPS!!!
Brilliant interview. Had the privilege of seeing Russian Circles live in Manchester last month on their UK tour, absolutely incredible gig. So atmospheric and tight set, all incredible musicians and how Mike creates such a wall of sound with his pedals & effects is incredible. What a band
Wtf is DIY? Do it yourself. East coast probably. I remember small punk scene early 80s, I was in small city. LA was doing punk long before that Slower back east. Haha. Supposed to be better
one of the best bands in the world, on another level live too. criminally under appreciated
Haven't seen them in 15 years :(
It also has good parts, that the band is not so famous, you can join their concerts and don`t have to fight for your place ;-)
Russian Circles is one of those bands that gets better with every release.

Russian Circles is the band that made me finally believe in fully instrumental metal music. Not in my country though, but I'm happy its out there

Saw them two years ago in Switzerland it was sick , love this band so much .
Love Mike and Russian Circles! One of my favorite bands!
Mike is my EVH.
great irony here - loves lyrics and never uses them. Cool insight and to hear the transition to the edgy intense sound they have now.
Awesome band and the man seems to be so wholesome! ❤
"if you don't sound good live - you are missing the fun part" - I LOVE THAT!!!!!

Awesome interview! Really appreciate the shout outs to other instrumental outfits!
this is pure gold
This is great! Love going into his mind.
A good man.
Such an underrated channel! This was great, I can't wait for more full story episodes.
interessting insights!
"Gnosis" is one of my favorite song (which means a lot as I listen to 1.000s of bands from different genres).
Russian circles is a fantastic band.
This is fantastic , thank you ❤
🤘
Great interview!
great video, I was there that night also!
what looper did Mike say he uses?
It's an Akai Headrush. Old school!

Yeah the south and east coast went a different direction because we realized how corny the west coast was.
