    I'd permanently have the rear seat behind the driver down and keep it as a 3 seat car with an almost rear-side boot

    Yep in my review too I agreed fully - a hilarious car. Better than a Yaris.

    I want to buy a mini car for tight city parking. I already own a Honda Jazz, but I can't fit it into hmm... irregular parking spaces. I am considering a Smart fortwo, which is ideal size wise. But the IQ is cheaper and probably a better ride. What are your experiences people with parking in historical city centers? I see that it has a great turning cycle, but it is 30 cm longer than the Smart. On the other hand, it's one meter shorter than my Jazz. Advice is appreciated!

      both are truly unique, like no other car and would serve a large percentage of people if they would open their minds.

      The IQ ride is slightly better due to sitting lower and having a wider stance. The Smart is easier to get in and out of and has superior seats so there are several variables to consider not to mention seating configurations and control toys in the IQ. Best to test and compare, I love both.

    With the rear seats down does the driver have to move his seat forward?
    This is usually an irritating negative on tiny cars.

      You can remove the headrests and store them under the back seats in a dedicated storage space and replace them as needed, well that's what I do with my iQ anyway.

      I paid $3k (US) dollars for my 2013 purple with 71k miles. My Scion/Toyota IQ is the most reliable car I have ever owned, I've put 22k miles on it in 11 months and do perform regular service maintenance thru my local Valvoline oil change shop. It seems this car will last forever. 😊😎😷

    • @Nickoboss29
      @Nickoboss29 2 года назад +3

      The Aygo now is a 4 door, the previous gen was offered also as a 3 door. It's a city car smaller than the Yaris wich shares it's wheelbase with Peugeot 108 and C1. The IQ was a rival of the Fortwo but better, because the IQ had 4 seats while the Fortwo didn't...

    Toyota has just blotted its copy book in my eyes. My IQ broke down and was towed to the nearest garage. The garage informed me that the manifold had collapsed but it was on a recall for this part. They got in touch with the Toyota main agent who said they were so busy they could not even look at it for 3 weeks. As my wife needed the car to get to work we had the local garage do the work. We then asked Toyota to refund the cost of the part. They are now refusing to pay for the manifold because the work was not done at the Toyota garage which was too busy to do the work. Catch 22. I will never do business with them again.

      As an Italian, the new 500 is bigger than it's predecessor and it has the engine at the wrong place, it can't be compared with the IQ... the IQ is still better than the Fortwo...
