    Ted, you're the reason most squirrels and pigeons detour around my back yard. My dog has gotten quite expert in waiting under the tree, she usually catches the squirrel before it hits the ground, in spite of bouncing off several branches on the way down. Keep up the good work!

    • @botox9907
      @botox9907 2 года назад +3

      Dogs get a kick out of catching things before they bounce. Just like with throwing a ball. It means they “got” the prize first and have the best bite.

    Seriously?!? I literally thought the same exact thing!! Ted Bier was done making videos. That’s what I had to accept as a fan. The ONE PERSON who got me into high end PCP air rifles. The one guy who made me buy the new ever fantastic FX DREAMLINE LIGHT. After your review I save d my pennies and pulled the trigger and hopped on the bandwagon of PCPs. A long, frustrating wait on the waiting list for the new dreamline!! Countless days looking out the window waiting for that brown box van to drive up to MY NEIGHBORS HOUSE 10-15 tim’s before finally stopping at my house with my prized possession!!😀😀😀. I already had every JSB pellet weight, shape, type of pellets waiting to be shot!! Every birch wood/ Casey shoot n see target, spotting scope, bi- pods, tripods, scope, sand bags, dive bottle, tools, cases EVERYTHING!!
    Anyways I’m REALLY exited that ted is still on board utube and ready for new content!! I wish I could post pictures of my FX, after many custom parts that I had created that NOBODY has thought of! Cheers ted biers!! Hope to see more great videos soon! 🐧💥🔫

      Ted has cost me a fortune. I have a FX Impact .177 and am now looking into a different bbl. The scope, the compressor, sickening, but way too much fun. I recently bought the SendIt anti cant level just to keep me perfect on the nats arse. I should mention... I am a cheesehead too up in Door CO. Love to shoot in backyard. Now to get a better backyard target for sighting in. Looking at different scopes, have the Hawke 2.5 x 15 x50 with lighted reticle. Ballistics with sight ins are an issue. I can shoot 10 yds in basement, but going outside requires more effort. Tack driver indoors. Looking at different ranges and putting tape on elevation to line up a shot. I have a Leica Rangemaster to get the distance dead on, when the critters will wait. I live in the woods. So many targets.

    "They are nice and stupid." Lol. Line works for many things.
    Would like to see if that does better than hollow point for 22 Lr.

      They won't have quite as much energy (foot pounds), but (at least assuming that Ted's examples on camera in this video are representative of normal results) the expansion actually looks superior to what I've ever gotten from .22 LR in small game (squirrels on down in size).

      I bet 22lr hollow points would be better then these but I guess it depends if you keep the velocities all the same. A 22lr bullet I really like is the segmented mini mags. They do some damage.

    Thanks for the vid! I am currently researching capabilities of .22 PCP rifles for contrlooing Starlings and this was VERY interesting. What I am not comfortable with, is spending a lot of cash and getting a lousy rifle. I currently use a Weatherby for conventional hunting so you can see my drift! Thanks mate!
