The man, the myth, the legend. He's back boisssss
The Best
I was starting to think Ted wouldn't be posting again I know he did a few days ago however I thought that may be a coincidence
I'm so happy Teds is happy shooting and posting again. I hope it continues.
Myth???
rockin the John Lennons too
With that beard and those glasses, Ted looks like a bird-loving hippie. Best cammo ever!
🤣🤣
The Claypool look going on: 🎵His name is Ted, He shoots Starlings & pigeons in the head, Paints his pellets red, Walks around the barn to make sure they're dead, His name is Ted🎵
Haha!
Your enthusiasm is infectious and I'm happy that you have a rifle that's everything you want. It was SO much fun to watch! Thanks for taking us along for your outing. Cheers!
All you need now is a cup holder on that gun and you’re all set!
And some red and white stripes and the starlings will know where Waldo is.
In the car.
Installing a retractable awning on the pic-rail later this week. 👍
@@TedsHoldOver 😂👏👏
@@TedsHoldOver there used to be a commercial where, at the end, an Indian states,”maybe it’s not a minivan”.
Huh! That’s what I’m talking about.
Exactly 😂👍
I miss watching your videos, I've been watching them for years Ted. You're the reason I bought air rifles to rid pests. I thought of poisoning, but it will get the nonpests as well, so.................shooting the pests is the best way to control and or rid them. Thank you again, Ted, for your inspiration.
Is it weird to keep a gun next to your bed so you can fall asleep looking at it? Asking for a friend.
Not weird at all. I would do the same!!
If it was anyone other than you, I’d say yes
I like to...
Toyota makes a nice blind!
Apparently I am Teds friend
Ted putting out the kind of content that got me into PCP airguns back in 2014, been dropping pests ever since!
Man I wanted a Marauder so bad back then 😂
Same Here Ed got me into Airguns About 11 years ago💪😜
Ted!!!! Been watching since I was maybe 10-12! I’m now 22 and still enjoy these videos! Thank you for keeping me entertained.
Love your content, been watching for years.
I’ve loved this man since i was like 6
Same here I grew up on ted
Ted, My name is Jeremiah. I'm from Ohio. I just wanna let you know some of your earliest videos inspired me to Be an avid air gunner. I watched your video about the Benjamin discovery with All the upgrades you did do it and I literally copied everything you bought and that was my 1st pcp. Because of you I now have a serious addiction to to PCP no not the drug but precharged pneumatic Pellet guns. I later would buy everything necessary to operate APC P including air tanks air tanks and a high pressure pump, Oh yeah and a marauder 22. Many thousands of dollars laterI don't regret a thing because I absolutely love stacking pellets, I love the science of understanding how to achieve accuracy understanding trajectory and velocity. You helped me with this understanding. You made it easier for me to understand and get into the sport. Thank you my brother

The Holdover aiming is so satisfying.
Especially when he compensates for the wind as well as distance!
Sweet memories, blasting starlings with my trusty Crossman 766 American classic back in 1983/84.
After several mods, barrel locked into housing with fibreglass resin.
Metal muzzle plug, action screws replaced with small bolts drilled all the way through receiver and fastened with a nut on other side.
Trigger lightened and sear honed to a crisp let off, a 4x32 Simmons scope and a home made suppressor made this rifle quieter than a flies fart.
177 cal Meister kuglen pellets guaranteed to put 5 into 1/3 of an inch at 25yds.
Rifle cost me $60.00 and was my
go to starling slayer out to 50yds, at 17 years old I thought it was the ultimate hunting air rifle.
Great vid Ted always entertaining.
atb from South Australia.
Mate....I thought that's illegal doing quite thing in ausie??? 😁
@@nzbediler1062 Laws are for lawyers mate. Back when they did that, it was doubtless legal. What he mentioned no longer exists, I'm sure ;)
@@nzbediler1062 LOL, it is , but back in 1984 it was ok.

Ted Oppenheimer.
Thank you for the new video. Starling season is the best season. Ted is the OG airgunner.
It is good to enjoy these with you again thanks Ted🥳
Glad to see you’re still at it Ted! Been following your channel for the better part of a decade. Was in elementary school (probably shouldn’t have been watching haha) now I’m halfway through college. Keep it up I always love to see your videos in my feed
That pop makes you smile. Be careful, it is addictive!
Well, schedule the intervention, Roelf.
I’m hooked.
The only thing for me that can compete with that pop is the pop of a cold beer can opening! LOL
Them Javelins hit with authority that's for sure, excellent shooting in tough conditions Ted, very well done. Thank you for sharing.
Great to have you back Ted!
Super presentation. Really fun to watch. It is one thing to show shots I slow motion but painted slugs and freezing on the way to the bird makes the video fantastic.
Love the (ding noise) and the arrow please add them to all your videos. So glad you are adding videos and your enthusiasm is still there.
Love this so much! keep on shooting Ted!
SOOO glad you are back. Hope your life is good now and gets better.
Nice to see some smiles, there, Ted.
Good on ya, bud. 😃
This is one of the best videos I've seen this year, hands down.

Nothing beats a starling hitting the ground.
Except an English sparrow
"Can a Starling ever really be dead enough?" ~ Ted
I could watch this all day. Keep these vids coming. Cheers
Man Ted this was epic! So happy to see videos from you! I really like your editing and just your joyfulness. Can’t wait for more!
I appreciate you Ted. I have been watching you and the other boys for a few years now and still have a crappy crossman .177 break barrel from walmart. I haven't had a good jumping off point to get into nice PCP's, but after the last two videos, I think the MKIII BT is the one. We have similar desires in our rifles, and the wildcat makes the most sense for me. Keep cranking out videos, you took too much time off lately.
In fact, already subbed and waiting. Best wishes.
@@loganmeline9233 one of my projects had two tiny screws in a high speed reciprocating assembly. They backed off until I red loctited them. They still broke loose without heat a couple weeks later when I wanted them to.
Great to see all the camera angles love how you talk to us not down to us.
these are the videos that keep me coming back, much love

We see that your username is Jack.
This is another classic Ted video. 👌🏽
I can watch this one a few times before it bores me and leaves me itching for the next one. Great Job Mr. Ted
Man, I remember when you had a basic gun. This new one reminds me of the Naked Gun scene where OJ is assembling an howitzer starting from a handgun !
Ya know, Ted, one of the reasons I like your channel so much, aside from the guns, the shooting, the tech info and the "phhht!- drop" of the birds are the glimpses of the countryside you pass through. I'm from Pittsburgh but I've been living and teaching here in Thailand since 2001, and I miss home more than I can say. Haven't seen home since Xmas 2006. Please, when editing your vids, don't delete any more of that great wide-open scenery than absolutely necessary, it really means a lot to some of us. Cherish, and protect our country, folks, there really isn't anywhere else like it on the planet. If you were fortunate enough to be born in America, then count your blessings!!
Remember, y'all, "Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got till it's gone".
Thanks, Ted. All the best to you and your family.
Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧
Hope you’re doing ok there.
You’re spot on.
I’m lucky enough to live in a beautiful part of the UK and when I was 15 (you can add 40 to that now for my current age), I went on a school trip. On the way, we passed through some real urbanised areas and it made me feel so claustrophobic.
Ever since that point, I never thought the grass anywhere was greener.
Even though, with work, I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some amazing countries, I’m always glad to get home.
I hope that you get to go home for good at some point.
All power to you, sir. 👍 🤜🤛

@@BionicRusty the wilderness they have in the usa makes the whole of the uk seem tiny and cluttered. Plus hard to get any land to hunt here :'(
Great shooting. Always look forward to the next one.
Glad you're back
Judging by the glasses and beard I think Ted is sam-hyde maxxing
Man, it’s really weird seeing Harry Potter all grown up and sniping starlings….

I remember doing a farm in Leesburg, VA with a buddy WBITD, using break barrels (FB124D for me and HW80 for my friend) In a half day we shot over 200 Starlings. I still hate those damn birds.
Congratulations you have been selected among our shortlisted winners from our previous giveaway, contact the number above ^^^^^^^^^^^^🎁✅
Always glad too see that you're doing your part in keeping the starling population down. Where I'm at they've gotten out of hand like most other locations. They're the punks and bullies of the bird world! I'd like to see if you'd could start a short series on different rifles that were well made and maybe under $600.00. Been an air rifle fan since about five years old, Ryder and Daisy of coarse! Who picked those glasses out?
The bird flu outbreak has wiped out a lot of starlings (and other nuisance birds like grackles and blackbirds) in my area.
I didnt realise that starlings are so bad for you guys over there. They're one of my favourites for their songs, especially on the evenings here in the UK.
@@Phobos91 they are a big headache here, especially when they gather in the hundreds of thousands and generate ear-splitting racket as well as tons of noxious feces. They carry diseases and compete with native cavity nesters like Eastern bluebirds, often killing them outright.
Glad you're still around! Keep it up!
Awesome video and awesome shots!
Is it wrong that I watch this video and find myself wishing the Starlings would start coming around the bird feeder again. Strangely this year I've seen very few Starlings. We had some kind of bird sickness/kill off last year and I just wonder if it did a number on the Starling population in this area. I have yet to see any Cow birds or Red Wing Blackbirds either. To answer my own question... no it's not wrong to want to shoot Starlings. LOL, or at least for me anyway. :) Enjoyed the video Ted, it had been a while since it seemed you did this type video. William C. central Indiana.
Damn Ted, you're like a wine - gertting better and better when older... There's so strong wind and you can still hadle this and perform so nice shooting - impressive. I've been watching you for many years now and still I'm finding it interesting... Not killing animals of course - the passion you have to shooting itselves :) Yet again - that was incredibly good job out there on that creepy farm, lol
Best regards
What a BLAST popping starlings left and right!! Thanks for sharing the excitement! 👍❤️👍
So great to see you back
U look like Sam Hyde's younger brother
So true @bob
Been following you for a long time and I love these videos. Thank you 😊

Incredible video!! The starling season is upon us!
Sweet footage Ted. Glad you making more videos lately.
I feel the same way about my Wildcat & I think it's the stock! Ted designed it & that's why we call the bag-rider/handle part the "T-grip"
Thanks for everything you've given our sport! It wouldn't be as much fun without you!
Ted This is your best video yet I love this so much

I hope there's more in the works coming down the pipe. I especially like the ones about ballistics, tuning, etc. I know most folks just want to see starlings getting popped, myself included, but I really like the tech bits from Ted even more.

FX. Outstanding machines AND factory.....
Legend is backkk....spiriiiittt
Sweet little editing extras, pinpointing the POI in a freeze-frame, and painting the backs of the slugs with hi-vis is nice. EDgun Leshiy has been using the hi-vis paint for a long time now. The new Leshiy2 is pretty slick, might even be a bit more compact too. It's eating up slugs too. And, semi-auto too.
Good to see hunting vids coming from ya once again, Ted. Welcome back.
Good to see you're back in that pest control 👍
