At the church my family and I go to, were having a revival and several teens including myself accepted the Lord during a service in middle of the week! Then on the following Sunday we were all baptized! I've witnessed several baptisms at said church and they are usually held the following Sunday after someone accepts the Lord! Thank you Zach!!! I appreciate the teachings you are doing!!! God bless you, keep you healthy and safe 🙏🙏🙏
Amen sister !! that’s beautiful to hear thanks for sharing!! yea all the churches iv seen have a tub right there that takes no longer than 30min or so to fill up to do it right then and there on the spot. I used to think it was ok until the Lord showed me that man’s word and doing things contradicted Gods word. I truly think it all comes down to knowing truth. Stay blessed 😇
I was literally baptized in water on the spot. A pastor in a small church in Middleburg Florida asked who desired to be baptized and I went. All pastors should do this. Always be ready to do it. And always offer for any who desired to do so. They rarely even offer now
@@rootedexpeditions oh no. My testimony is much different. This was my water baptism not when I received the Holy Spirit. I spent a lifetime caught in the world before Christ baptized me.
it was Ananias that asked Paul why wait. As for the need for witnesses it isn't necessary. But in those days no one made a trip from Jerusalem to Ethiopia by themselves. They would join a caravan to avoid robbers that would rob an d kill a lone traveler in an instant. There were likely hundreds of witnesses.
Sometimes I wonder how everyone knew someone's a eunuch. Like, did he go around telling everyone he's a eunuch, or did eunuchs back then have to go around with a sign around their necks warning people that a eunuch is in their midst? No wonder he didn't want a big crowd at his baptism. This is why I have insomnia. This is what my brain is keeping me up at night thinking about.
Water baptism does not mean jack. In Ephesians 5 it says that there is now just one baptism. Which baptism do you think that it is talking about, John's baptism (water) or Jesus's baptism (Holy Spirit and blood).
You mean Ephesians 4:5? Your taking that out of context. You take 2 words out of thy verse, read the whole section along with other passages to truly understand what Paul is talking about. Water baptism is required along with the spiritual baptism, look at what JESUS says in John 3:5 when talking to Nicodemus, “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.“ Please read the whole context to understand. The water is symbolic of dying to the flesh being submerged, just as a baby is when coming into the world. The flesh goes down into water to be baptized by water. The Holy Spirit comes down to baptize us in His Spirit. My hope if you gain wisdom and understand from this. Much Love and God bless
Zach, you missed it man. In acts 2 Peter tells them to all repent and schedule their baptism with the secretary on the way out. It's probably just your translation. 😄😉 The mental gymnastics that people will do regarding baptism is mind-boggling.
As far as i understand it you just need to be saved then you can. I had waited for a while until i had this line of thought actually so i took the chance i had. I was afraid i wasnt good enough though. thats why i was putting it off. i realized that makes 0 sense.
It’s The Blood of The Lamb that washes away Sin not water that’s symbolic of being buried and risen In Christ/dying to the old nature and rising up as the new man ….. water baptism should be spontaneous as The Spirit leads but some schedule it due to availability or the water bill is costly filling up the baptistry so the church waits for a large crowd needing baptisms… just dialoguing
I've read the 4 different Bibles but I still can't understand any of them ! I'll be the first to admit I'm not the sharpest knife in the draw ! When God gave out brains I thought he said trains and asked for a toy one.
@@aidanmcmanus2752salvation is not dependent upon baptism. One can be saved and not baptized. There is no “condition” for salvation other than belief and faith in Christ.
You can schedule it though. its not sinful just not advised. Ah yeah but its supposed to be a public confession of your love of God. thats true. i posted mine. also sir its kind of a process and you have to plan this sometimes just cause things have to be arranged. You do have to actually understand it for one.
I see where your coming from, for I used to think that same way. I completely understand your view. But if we are to follow Gods word, then that’s not biblical thinking… and in all truth that’s man’s way of doing things. Can it be public? Absolutely, can it also be between just the 2 believers? Yes Absolutely. It’s an acknowledgment to God the washing away our sins not people. Gods work in that person will show the people. It’s NOT biblical to plan it or schedule it. Once you believe and know the truth, you must be baptized. If one wants to schedule because that’s what they think they need to do, then let them do it. But the truth is it’s not biblical. In the scriptures once they learned the truth they were baptized right there on the spot. For they were taught the RIGHT way, by true followers of Christ. This new age stuff that’s being taught is not biblical. My point in this video is that there is No where in scripture showing there is a scheduled baptism. In fact there is more scripture showing that we shouldn’t wait. Remember our way of thinking is not the Lords. God made it easy for us to understand, but we must submit to his authority. Having the mind of Christ. Hope this helps. God bless you sister!

The reason why baptism was so urgent in the NT is because it was for the foegiveness of sins (Mk 16:16; Acts 2:38; 22:16).
It’s still urgent
@@rootedexpeditions Yes, it's still urgent today because Jesus made it a condition for salvation.
What must one do to be saved?
