Personally, I think that is alright in concept but I hate a couple of things to say about it:
    1. As you said, this practice technique can cause bad habits even in moderation
    2. Timing solves so that if you make a mistake you actively try to make more mistakes can be very demotivated seeing as sometimes your times will be average or even better than average but most solves will be worse by a considerable amount.
    3. There is another practice technique that achieves all of the things you said in the video but won't make you develop bad habits and won't decrease your motivation. This is untimed solves. You can try out techniques like finding new pair solutions and predicting auf on pll. I think this is a more helpful way to practice
    .
I think this is a very well put together video and is very high quality so gj. 😊

I completely understand all of the points you have made here, for me personally I find untimed solves very boring as it seems almost pointless in my head (I know it's not but it feels like it sometimes). I also don't have any issues with demotivation but for people who do, I agree with what you are saying and for those people, untimed solves could be a better method.
      And thanks!

@@UK_Cuber I'm just sharing my experience.
If this way has worked for you and will help others then it is always worth sharing. Also, if you or someone else finds slow solves boring then this is a really great idea.

Yeah, cubing takes time but 40 seconds is pretty good for just one year!

@@UK_Cuberif I’m being honest, 40 seconds in a year is not that great

No, because you are still timing the solves as untimed solves can be boring.
