Thanks so much man! Can really push the visuals with a bit more gpu muscle and I'm loving it. Feels like finally I have the tools to implement the visual ideas.
How cool is that, mate? I'm so happy for you, dude! Whenever I try to add visuals to my stuff, my old mill acts like Danny Glover and says, "Nah, I'm too old for this!"🤣
Aww cheers! Yeah I think it's defo time for another dive into the live set! One video to make on my list is something along the lines of make your own jungle live set in Ableton - these things just often take a bit of time to develop. But thanks!!
Ahh thanks man! Yep keep going! Doesn't matter how slow you go as long as you don't stop, eh? I've felt up against it recently. And a slight loss of mojo. But it usually returns with the work, daily practise and all is coming. X
You read my mind!! I've been thinking that since I added it in too! That's a cool little hook isn't it? Think that came from just a random loop of a longer generative take. Yeah I think all the parts are there. I even started jamming just a take of that to export and work on - so yes let's do it!
Really enjoyed this. Im working to create a live set that incorporates live video - from movies and webcams. Was all of your set created/performed on a single laptop? Im worried about the stability of the set. I have an M1 MacBook Pro and Ableton Live Suite.
I used something called Zwobot which is a set of audio reactive generative m4l devices highly recommended. I recorded multiple takes using Zwobots screen record to apple pro res file format. I just let it run for the whole 20 mins doing its thing. I thought the computer would tank after a bit but it flew along. I did multiple takes like this and then multicammed them in Davinci. Again I thought it would tank doing multicams with all these huge pro res files but I was absolutely great. I think you'll be fine - I've been SO impressed by the m1 for video, it is next level. I'd say give it a go and push it as hard as you can. The live camera feeds might tax things a bit more but you can always scale things back and record different takes to comp together in premiere or Davinci.
@@HumanSynthetics cool. Thanks for the guidance. I have experimented with Vizzable. It’s great but my laptop regularly crashes. I’ll give Zwitbot a go thanks again.
Dude! This is freaking brilliant😮

Great breaks work..nice.
Cheers Frank! Appreciate that 👊
Great set mate! always bringing the vibes!
Cheers Al!! My set at the weekend was very similar, it's always a journey from where I begin.
This is class, maybe do a guide on this if you fancy g!

Wicked beats and visuals 🔥 cheers
Nice one Paul! Yeah Zwobot is sick for visuals, and now my computer can handle it finally! My old mac would've set on fire.
This is so cool, great work Alex! Inspires me to keep pushing forward with my own stuff.

The part from like 8:15 - 12:30 needs to be made into an actual track (if it’s not already). It’ll do numbers. So fucking sick mate.
fckn true

@@mah5255 Great - Zwobot is very affordable for what it does too.
