Dude, the stuff that George Lynch put out through Lynch Mob is legendary! I would argue his guitar work is more relevant in Lynch Mob than in Dokken. I absolutely love this song.
Thanks for putting this on the map for all the new rockers out there ! George is definitely like a fine wine, let him just jam and something great happens. His sound the last ten years has taken him to another level in my opinion. It's like the sound is about to cut out, but somehow George gets a crazy harmonic !! Love this tune as well !
YES CAM! Finally some Lynch. Top 3 player for me. Alongside Eddie and Nuno. As far as Lynch mob I think All I Want is my favourite, along with River Of Love. A few very deep cuts I think you should check out are Believers Of The Day, Main Offender and Flesh And Blood
This is definitely one of my favorite George riffs. I remember looking at the tab for it and I just said nah the heck with it. I must be tab dyslexic. Thank you for explaining it clearly! That All I Want sounds pretty sweet!
I appreciate this Cameron absolutely awesome George is another favorite I love getting more info on riffs used in many songs is important. Thanks a million
It's such a badass riff Cameron this George Lynch turn that you're doing it's got everything and as always you rock it bro but I'll always love your guitar playing Cameron Cooper you're one of my very favorites bro
Hey Cam! Have you heard the KXM records he did with Dug Pinnick (Kings X) and Ray Luzier (Korn)? Some cool stuff there. AND, the first few Kings X albums would be right up your alley for a similar rhythm style to this one.
Lynch has always been one of my favorites! I’ve learned a lot from him and inevitably mimic him in my own playing style. He’s kind of an annoying dude, but love his playing
It took me a while to really dig into George, mostly because I didn't care for Dokken. But his solo work is stunning! His tone these days is a lot cleaner than you'd think. He's playing in very subtle ways, and the music is terrific. Thanks for sharing these insights, Cam!
As a mop-haired teenager, Lynch didn’t appeal because the band lacked beat, hooks, and catchy lyrics. As a balding guitarist, I appreciate the musicality very much. Really appreciate the free music education!
I grew up in the '80s and loved metal but was never a fan of hair metal. That being said, I learned a ton of great rhythm playing tricks from Lynch, Reb Beach and Nuno. Even Yngwie is seriously underappreciated in the rhythm department. I stole his inverted chords. 😏
Really sucked for George. Yeah, Dokken blew up during the 80s. That is true. But it was not really George's band. It was Don's mostly. By the time Lynch Mob came out, Music scene was already changing. Wicked Sensation was a amazing record. Should had more success than what it did. Perhaps if it came out a few years earlier.
“The Secret” is another chordy masterpiece from George. It never got its due IMO, but incredibly heavy & infectious groove.
@ I agree, though I enjoy Don’s voice (At his peak) and his lyrics about love, relationships, etc. They were a potent combo with George’s wizardry.
George is my favorite guitarist. Anything you throw out there, I'm sopping it up with a biscuit. Keep them coming.
Yes. MORE George Lynch
Right away I was like "Tangled in the Web - I was not expecting that!". Great choice, great riff, great artist; I love the hell out of George!
Absolutely yes! More Lynch tunes! 'Dance of the Dogs' is one of my personal favorites.
Yes more GL thanks again for the superior lessons.🤟🏻🤯
You play like I wish I could , oh well , killin it Cam 🤘🏼

Cam, you're a great inspiration to us!!

Dude has some gnarly leads but his rhythm parts have always been my favorites.
Good job, Cameron. George Lynch is one of my all times favourite guitarist.

Such a great album. Never got the love it deserved.
This is definitely one of my favorite George riffs. I remember looking at the tab for it and I just said nah the heck with it. I must be tab dyslexic. Thank you for explaining it clearly! That All I Want sounds pretty sweet!
The Hunter is my favorite George Lynch song.
So glad you did Lynch Mob stuff!! Everyone does Dokken riffs but not a lot of Lynch Mob. Please do more!!!!❤
This is great Cam! I’ve playing Dance of the Dogs quite a bit. Another amazing LM tune.
Awesome
That band's first 2 albums are George's masterpiece / tour de force.
Yep George’s best… 100% agreed.. well played Cameron!
Thanks again, Cam ! Inspirational, as always !
Great song! George basically added a flat 5 to The Hunter and made a new song. I love his chord voicing and solos in both tunes!
The Retro Guitarist has an amazing cover of that, plus a version with the vocals removed.
I appreciate this Cameron absolutely awesome George is another favorite I love getting more info on riffs used in many songs is important. Thanks a million
Great album and song. "Heaven is Waiting" would make for an excellent breakdown vid!
Awesome album! I've must of played drums to it 500x's over the years. Great riffs, drums and of course Robert Mason kills it!
Amazing riff indeed ! Very good tutorial. Thank you for introducing me to this track.
I really loved playing it ! 🎸🎸🎸
It's such a badass riff Cameron this George Lynch turn that you're doing it's got everything and as always you rock it bro but I'll always love your guitar playing Cameron Cooper you're one of my very favorites bro
George is the ultimate 🐐

Really Cool! 💯🎸💫
Sounds killer YES
La classe Cameron !😊
yeah really great song...the horns really works well with it too!
Quality Cam, as usual 🤘🏼😈🤘🏼🏴
Awesome! Was hoping you'd tackle some Lynch at some point!
I wasn't familiar with Lynch Mob but I totally dig this lesson, and it seems like it's not terribly complex to learn. 😎🤘
More George please.

I love Lynch Mob!
Great vid. I'm not very familiar with Lynch's stuff. This song is new to me. Looking forward to figuring this out when I get home from work...
Great video thanks
Strikingly similar to the chord voicings in the " Hunter "...go figure. Absolutely brilliant demo and lesson. Nicely broken down.
Thanks cam lynch is awesome
Heck yeah🤘
Wow Cam amazing! The bengal charvel wuold been the perfect guitar for this video 😂
George is a very unique player... personally i thing back for the attack is his best work in terms of riff..soloing and tone
Sounds good. The first lynch mob album tho blows the rest out of the water for me. Maybe I’ll give the second another try
Lynch has always been one of my favorites! I’ve learned a lot from him and inevitably mimic him in my own playing style. He’s kind of an annoying dude, but love his playing
My favorite is "one million years" off wicked sensation

GL is one of the best of that time. IMO doesnt get the credit he deserves.
😍😍😍😍😍
There's a great live version of Wicked Sensation on YT. GL is playing a black LP Custom and it sounds epic.
🤘
Lynch cooper for an album !!
As a mop-haired teenager, Lynch didn’t appeal because the band lacked beat, hooks, and catchy lyrics. As a balding guitarist, I appreciate the musicality very much. Really appreciate the free music education!
When that riff is played-i think of great whites 'Face the day'
Very 80’s
That's triggering me soooo much! I really like GL.
DId you listen to Geo Conner 40 years ago? Lunch did.

You needed a skull guitar not an evh .... smh
I don't mind not having one
@CameronCooper temu has 1 for $300 , might need upgrades lol.
