You’re absolutely amazing man. I’ve been playing for about 4 years and I’ve learned a lot of Eddies live licks from you. I’m 15 now and I can shred pretty damn good, you’re a goddamn legend man, preciate it🤘🏻
That glass ceiling point... You're making a great case here. That's exactly how it works. And not to forget: If you stop working actively on something, your brain will do its magic in the background. If you keep being committed, that's how you overcome barriers. Excellent!
Another great lesson. i really appreciate you focusing on these "nucleus" licks and sequences that underpin your playing style. Cam, can you bring a lesson, on your thought process when "chaining" riffs and sequences together to create long seamless runs? Thx!!
Say WHAT !!!!!!????? 😮😮😮😮🤪😜🤪😜🤪😜😳😳😳😲😵💫😵💫😵💫 You're a Lefty!!!! You know Gary Moore was a lefty who learned how to play right-handed!!!! He ended up being a fast shredder type guitar player and he combined Blues flavored guitar licks and started playing with more hand vibrato and melody in his later years!!! Cameron, your video is very insightful!!!! I learned some things!!! Thanks for your videos ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊 P.S. Cameron!!! You're so awesome of a guitar player you could make a broom stick with strings or a ply wood guitar sound soooo good!!!! 😊 👍
Thank you very much for the comment! Fully enough, loads of players are left handed but play right handed. Eric Clapton, Billy Corgan, Mark Knopfler, Gus G, Nick Johnston, Freddie Mercury (doesn't really count but he was a left handed person that played right handed guitars). Duane Allman, Shawn Lane, Gary Moore. Quite interesting how many there are.
Because Lynch improvises everything and never plays the same thing twice it would seem, there aren't any staple licks he did that determined his style. Just epic improv which amounted to great solos. That's why I only tend to play the riffs in videos.
Wow I’m left handed playing right handed. My dad is as well and he said never learn guitar left handed. My picking has taken forever to get down. But I learned late
So if you're right-handed does that mean you should play a left-handed guitar because of the picking cuz sometimes I feel that if I was picking with my left hand and using the fretboard with my right hand it would be easier for me but instead I use the fret board with my left hand play scenes like it would be easier if I was using the fretboard with my right hand because it moves around a lot better and faster than my left hand does
How many guitars do you need 30? Just kidding I’m a charvelle fan! I have a San Dina’s in the weird pink color with white pickups, I love it!!! I also want 20 more charvelle
I'm pretty sure I'm not playing it the way he did it. I just got inspired by his technique and wedged a similar run into 'Still Of The Night' to suit me whenever I play it.
@@dieselyetiIf you actually play them for a living, then why should it be a problem for you ... somebody should get you a doctor to treat green eyed monster syndrome...
Why does virtually every aspect of human behaviour have a 'syndrome' attached to it these days? I have more shirts than guitars. Most of them different colours and fits but I wear maybe 4 or 5 of them. I also have two suits, only wore each of them once. Does that mean I have some weird 'Clothing Acquisition Syndrome'? No. Because I wear different shirts or a suit as and when I need to. The same thing applies to my guitar collection. I play all of them and have them for specific reasons. Except guitars go up in value, my clothes certainly won't.

that John Sykes lick is insane! thanks for sharing your skills and knowledge , always love seeing new content from you!
Cameron Charvel Cooper, excellent as always brother
Nice!! Another GREAT set of licks. Great advice at the end too. Your video work is always top-notch. Very enjoyable. Thank you.
I'm a lefty who plays right as well. I wouldn't have it any other way!
I’m noticing from your videos.. the more guitars a guitarist owns the more skill level he has. It’s a symbolic representation 🐺
Thank you! That's not always true but thanks
Damn, Cam, you’re on fire. Great lesson.

That would be so tricky to do but a good idea. Leave it with me
@@CameronCooper thx cam!
Great lesson as usual very straightforward and easy to apply to multiple shapes
thanks a lot for legato lick lesson!!
Fantastic videos on learning how to play fast/shred. Best out there! Thanks so much!!
You are super guitarist
Great stuff man - thank you for sharing !!! - The advice at the end is what more players need to hear. Cheers Cameron !!
Always a pleasure watching & learning from you !! Excellent time BTW !!
Hi Cameron, very cool licks as always! The 120% tip at the end sounds somehow familiar to me 😂 thx for the 1:1 lessons!!!
I love your lessons, good Sir. Awesome work. God bless you 👌😎
You're a beast, dude!
Thank you sir...👍👍
Love that colour
Thank you
You're welcome
Love that guitar !!!
Always great thanks 🙏 you 😊

Rik Emmet is another lefty that plays righty
Michael Angelo Batio and Kiko Loureiro also left handers playing right.
Ric Emmett triumph Steve Morse also were lefty
@frankieserranojr6788 They are lefty guitar players too!!!! Well they are left handed that play right handed. I did not know that.🤔
Thanks! Could you link the Part 1 [edit: found the link ...]?
Very very good brother ❤
Hey Cam, lick #4, is that a lick Gus G uses? Sure sounds similar to me. Either way I love it! Thanks I really, really really needed this friend
Cam…great stuff…you should do a “lick of the week”…I’m sure people would love it🤘
I don't disagree with you but I did that years ago the videos didn't do that well. Over 30+ episodes.
@@CameronCooper …sorry, I wasn’t aware…I can’t understand why, cuz these licks are pure gold 👍
Excellent
EXCELLENT...Thank you very much! CHEERS.
Cheers Cameron :D
This is really great! Thank you for posting this. Do you of any way to improve my Hammer Ons and Pull Offs? Is it the best way to start slowly?
I would say it's best to remain persistent, keep refining the technique and you will get there. Also keep muting in mind when working on this.
Straten marshal no.1
awesome dude! 👍
I see you prefer 'Inside Picking'... It's amazing how you master this 😎... but a nightmare for me 😓.
Fun fact, I had no idea what 'inside picking' was until somebody told me I did it. I just did what felt natural to me.
Reminds me within gilbert runs.
Great tutorial and sound !what amp or software you use ,string gauge ?
I'm using a Blackstar AMPED 3 for my amp and Elixir Optiweb strings 09-42
Never any George Lynch? To me his note selection and "odd" sounding intervals sounds exciting and fresh.
Because Lynch improvises everything and never plays the same thing twice it would seem, there aren't any staple licks he did that determined his style. Just epic improv which amounted to great solos. That's why I only tend to play the riffs in videos.
what kind of guitar is this? love it
Charvel San Dimas
Wow I’m left handed playing right handed. My dad is as well and he said never learn guitar left handed. My picking has taken forever to get down. But I learned late
🔥🔥🔥 are your Charvel guitars stock??? You sound great!!!

How would you practice a Kirk Hammett warm up/lick. Great stuff. Thank you
By playing it 👍🏻
Nice 😮❤
Finally 😍 !!
Why skip end of 1st lick beginning was explained note for note? Guess I'll just go learn some Zack wild solos, thanks 4 reference.
I didn't skip anything? I taught everything I organised for this video note for note.
🤟🤟🤟
Have you ever played an (air norton / d-sonic) pickup combo. How would JB / 59 compare?
Absolutely no idea
I can't realize what's the subdivisions off the notes for that John Sykes lick. Tabs are definitely needed 😢
4:36 I explain exactly what's going on up close in detail.
@@CameronCooper i just tab this in guitar pro for myself as straight 16 notes 🤦🏻♂️
@@CameronCooper i should ask John Sykes himself, or search for transcriptions 😯

that first lick how many hours would you say you had to do to get to that clean speed?
I don't know I wasn't keeping track. I just focused on it until I got it.
Which Seymour’s are you playing? Duncan distortion?
JB and 59
@@CameronCooperthey sound rockin good!
What Pedal or pedals are you using? And Amp?
Blackstar AMPED 3
@@CameronCooper Thank You 👍
Very gainy crunchy tone
Yeah! Just how I like it
Hey cam, if I had a budget of 800 USD, what guitar would you recommend, that has a Floyd rose?
Either a secondhand Charvel or buy 2 new Harley Benton Fusion iii FRs
Ok, thanks
@@CameronCooper what is your favorite fingerboard wood?
@@kimtruong9751 Whatever looks best for the guitar. Maple or ebony usually
@@CameronCooper same, rosewood is to grainy
tab please
I explain the licks in full, you don't need tab! You can see it all laid out aha
isn't your action is too low?
It's lower than I prefer but it feels nice, no buzz. I'm happy
He needs to donate his 4th finger to a guitarist who will use it. 😂
Maybe you should consider the same thing with your eyes.
@@CameronCooper I only have one eye. How did you know?
Just seen your noodling video.Think you need to donate your guitar to someone who can use it properly 😂
