Mastered Eddie, Randy, Jake E, Steve.......then i hit a wall🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Dude, you are amazing. If i could make it up an inch of that wall I'd be a happy man!!! Keep climbing and sharing 😉
*** man, you're an amazing guitar player and a fantastic teacher*** thank's for all your videos, your time and your free lessons!!!! REGREATS FROM ITALY
very good video cameron just an idea would you ever consider doing licks on gary moores playing would be quite interesting to see your take on his riffs or licks just an idea.
HELP ! Love your work, love the licks but how do i know how to play it on a metronome ? I might be missing something. Do i just figure out what timing sounds the best ? I m trying to improve my timing feel so i always train on a metronome/backing track
My best advice would be to listen to the tracks I mentioned in this video. 5FDP Wash It All Away FLAT BLACK tracks that inspired this lesson are LACK OF RESPECT and SIDEWAYS
Did you ever meet Chris Overland, he taught guitar ? He was such a brilliant melodic guitarist and one of the founder members of FM who are so over looked. Saw FM support Bon Jovi on Slippery When Wet tour and FM sounded better. Yes I am in my 50;s but got to see all the best bands except Van Halen sadly.
@@hon8177yep they take up shit load of your time and effort , let’s face it, you are never really happy about it but more importantly Musically, you go no where.
Best piece of advice I ever got from a fellow guitarist was to make sure you still listen to the songs you're covering and don't let the only times you hear them be when you're playing/learning them.
@@bmello452 Very true, its amazing what notes youll miss in the song if you always play along with it and not listen to it by itself. You can even miss the song structure as well.
JASON HOOK is a monster of a player!
Check out the new FLAT BLACK album 'Dark Side Of The Brain' NOW!

Superb, Cam! Thanks as always for these
You are a very accomplished player. My own playing is inspired not so much by other guitar players, but by extra sharp cheddar cheese.

Thank you! You can learn them without tabs though :)
@@CameronCooper Of course. But tabs is more visible, and you can save them for later 🙂
I will definitely learn these. They look and sound so fun to play!
1:22 the irony of you hitting a wall and me discovering your videos around that time, which helped me improve so much 😅

🤣hang in there brotha, yer not alone🤘🥹
If I could play any of these now, I would have any plateaus to deal with…….
I've never tried EMG pickups, what are your guys thoughts on them?
you have to try it. There are two kind of people. You hate or love it! Nothing in between. Recommend to try them in a local store before buying
I like them!
@@CameronCooper Me too I'm planning to modify my Strat with the Bone Breaker Set soon
They are good enough for Gilmore

I practice a song I love so much until by the time i get it perfect i hate it. Argh...
Good mindset to have!
@@CameronCooper True, if you play it til it becomes second nature thats when you can record it or play it live with confidence.

5 licks GUARANTEED to make you throw your Guitars in the Garbage Bin
Please don't
Cameron that was wicked display. Cruel.
love your style , theres a shortage of beautiful songs , to much static songs
I haven’t plateaued, ever. I haven’t gotten higher than an ant’s belly in 5 years.
Then you actually have hit your plateau
How are you not going to throw in his favorite lick , its down down up on his lick lesson from like 15 years ago , 🤔
Show me! I'm unaware of this. I've just picked up what I heard from songs
Oh yeah. I hate "the Wall". 😢
You talk like Guthrie
I'm british, could be why
