Cole, you have a golden voice made for radio, sports commentary or voice over work like for cartoons. Very cool.
Lol thank you I appreciate it! Thank you for watching and commenting!
I like your videos a lot Cole, thanks for doin em! I’m curious to know what the mpg change is after the lift.
We are gonna have to wait and see but I will update everyone for sure. Thank you for the compliment, it means more than you know. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Any updates on mpg ?
Mpg change?
Hey Cole the tuck looks awesome, now get some mud flaps and wheel well liners on that bad boy.
Yeah it probably needs em. Thank you for watching and commenting!
The truck looks great, nice and level, enjoy it.
Thank you Fred. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Sheesh 6’5”
I’m 5’4” and putting the same lift on my Powerboost 😂
But awesome and informative video!!
Thank you for watching and commenting?
Cole your dad's F150 looks great.
He says Thank you so much John. Thank you for always watching and commenting!
Looks great Ive done a lift kit or level kit on every F150 I’ve ever owned but the current build I’m gonna try to refrain from any level kit because will be using the truck for work and need the rake Lol
Yeah I get that. A lift or lvl isn’t really made for the working truck. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Blake, Are you in or approaching Tremor geometry? Why didn't you get the Tremor? Because of the 'Turbo Only' powerplant? Price? Thought exercise for you is, "had you bought a Tremor, Code 401A? Packages? or Options would you go with?
Yeah so we didn’t get a tremor because of the power plant. I like the special things that come with a tremor but it more money for nothing we see as worth it. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Something that really made me angry was when I bought my pb, they washed it in a normal car wash and it just destroyed my paint. I've been handwashing my trucks for years now just to avoid that and this dealership ruins your paint on day one.
Wow they did? That’s annoying. I’m not the biggest fan of drive thru washes but touch less once’s are okay. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Ford has decided to sell and ship vehicles without the chips that power non-safety features. The automaker will instead send the chips a year later to the dealers for installation after a vehicle is purchased.
Originally, the automaker had plans to ship partially-built and undrivable vehicles to dealers, but now, the vehicles will be driveable and sellable even without the chips.
Wow, I think this is going to cause huge problems. I think they are thinking that it’s cheaper to deal with future potential law suits then it is to pay out individual with orders. How do you feel about this?
@@ColeCulture "Customers will get a price reduction if taking ownership of a vehicle without the feature. The detail of how much has not been confirmed". Wonder if this would be similar to the measly $50 credit they give you with the auto start/stop delete which is a joke. I think this is more of a move to start using the dealerships as their storage facilities....imagine how long it will take to get an appointment at a dealership in the future? I also wonder how this relates to the options/features they have already deleted from the F-150(dial digital readout for temp, auto start/stop, lighting, etc?)
Yeah your right things are about to get crazy. I have no clue what the future holds. I’m just hoping my truck doesn’t show up all crappy. They got rid of my eta on the website btw.
Rear inner fenders are definitely needed now or a can of rattle spray under liner.
We have the liners. I’m going to do them this week. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Enjoying the videos so far and the trucks look great. I have a pretty identical truck coming in this week and I want to keep the tire/wheel weights down for mpg reasons. I know you’re on 33s but are they 33x12.5 or 285/70/17?
Yes 33x12.5. If you are interested in mpg check out some of my resent videos and let me know if they help you out at all. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Hi bro. Wanted to know how is the rc vertex holding up to now. From the day you installed it to now. How you had any issue or fixes or problems you came across with. Planning on installing the same with my 2022 power boost. So would like to know what I should be expecting long term. Thanks bro
Great vid cole. I bought the same exact truck lol. I’m beginning to do some mods. What area of Southern California are y’all in ?
Big bear. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Hey Cole love the content! I’ve been looking at this kit for my 21 F150 FX4 cos it includes the UCA. But how is the geometry of the 4WD and lower elements? Worried 3” is substantial lift and everyone says don’t go above 2” without doin an actual full lift kit. Appreciate ur thoughts and update on how it looks on this truck
I would say it’s more like don’t go over 3inch. But it comes with a new control arm so it covers any geometry issues that you’d get with a 3 inch. You don’t start having other issues until you go 4 inches or bigger. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
@@ColeCulture did you do a strut spacer or lifted strut?
I always run through automatic car washes. Iconic Silver….. no swirls. 😂
Yeah I think some are better than others. Looks like you got a good one. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Really enjoy your videos........ I'm about to level my 22 Platinum. Considering the Readylift SST 3.5 and running 295/65 -20 Toyo A/T 3 You have any opinion on this lift ? Thanks
Ready lift is good. Also with a trim as high as a platinum it may be worth saving up for some icon or fox kits. I’d hate to see you lose any ride quality. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Hey Cole do you think the high end version will be better ? Rough Country 3-Inch Bolt-On Upper Control Arm Suspension Lift Kit with Adjustable Vertex Coil-Overs and Vertex Reservoir Shocks.
Thank you
Yes my other truck on the channel has that kit, check out the video ruclips.net/video/tVNH8DH8MUM/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/1FEwRsmhN-U/видео.html
I wish my son would have taken my car to touch car wash when I told him the opposite!!
Lol!
Thanks for the video! Would love to know what that cost and how much it affected milleage. Best of luck going full time RUclips!
Thank you. I will have an update soon. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Updates on mpg?
I have the exact same color and I want this exact lift what’s the name of it thank you
Rough country
Hey great video as always I’m very interested of this kit for my f150, but very worried about cv angles, from what I’ve been told to not go over 2.5” or else the angle geometry will be off and can be damaged the cv axle of the 4wd system due to it is not straight and could damage it in the long run. Could you do a video of showing how the cv angle looks like? Thanks cheers
I understand the worry but it only becomes a problem after 3 inches plus it’s a different control arm and the ball joints are the ones that go first. I may throw it in a new video so stay tuned. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@ColeCulture thanks bro much appreciated 🙏
Can we see a picture of your cv angle?
@@ColeCulture Hey Cole, did you ever have any issues with the CV axle boot or ball joints going out? Also, any insight on how often you offroad - I live in Colorado and intend to use it on the weekends to do easy --> moderate jeep trails on the regular.
I love the way the truck looks! Does the Lariat have the ability to enter the new tire size into the computer? To maintain accuracy of the speedometer.
The place we took it adjusted it for us. I don’t think any of the f150s have that ability yet. Thank you for watching and commenting!
My new 150 Tremor should arrive any day. I want to level it. I know the uca’s and knuckles are upgraded on the Tremor from the regular 150.
Need leveling advice. My off roading areas are few and far between. I’m in Wisconsin. I was looking at the Pro Comp spacer top out and preload set up that many are running with a 34.5 tire. I believe the stock tires (General Grabbers AT) is at 33.3. I drive a lot so I don’t want to go nuts because want to keep fuel and ride quality in check. Also was looking at a complete Eibach adj. coil over kit.
Thoughts please ?
Keep up the awesome content 👍🏻
Never do a level or puck kit. The ride quality is horrible. Go with a bigger coil over kit. If your not off roading often then any brand will work just fine for you. If your gonna go hard then look at icon and fox. Thank you for watching and commenting!
What size tires and wheels? Also what did u use for the lift
Nice vid Cole ! I have a 2021 powerboots and was looking at this kit. I am in the OC area and was wondering where do you go to get the lift kit installed ?
I place down in a town called Yucaipa called USA motor sports. Thank you for watching and commenting! BTW a place in Anaheim called APG could also help you out, let them know I sent you.
How is the road noise specially from those tires? F150’s are like luxury cars these days all about comfort.
Your right they are basically luxury cars now lol. Very low road noise. If your having a conversation or listening to music I guarantee you won’t notice it. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Cole I know it a powerboost and it does get good gas mileage but now that you lifted the truck how did that affect the gas mileage average
There will be an update on that in the near future. Thank you for always watch and commenting!
@@ColeCulture I'm debating getting a level or lift and 34's, but definitely dreading the mpg loss. I'll be waiting on your results :D
Like I say in the video I’m big time against buck lvl kits. I don’t think the gas mileage will be completely nuked if you lift it as long as you put a bed cover and maybe a cold air intake in to sorta even it out. But to all their own. I’m against them because I’m a off road guy. But if you don’t off road and are okay with the truck driving rougher then I’d go for the level kit. It’s much cheaper. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Did you mark before the lift, and adjust the head lights down to compensate for the lift?
No we didn’t . Probably should have but it really isn’t a big difference from stock height. You’ll see in an upcoming video, with my dads and Tommy’s. Thank you so much for always watching and giving Quality comments!
Depending on trim/package, I think the headlights are auto-leveling.
How much is gas out there now Kansas city $3.79 $69 to fill up my 5.0 Coyote 24 gallon tank man I wish I would of got the 36gallon tank
@@keitgwilliams4349 Must be nice. It's 5.40 regular and 5.70 premium at Costco which is the cheapest here in southern CA .
Great video! Have you heard of the Livernois tune?
Yup a 100hp tune. Sounds amazing and is something in this channels future for sure! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Nice ready to see how this does to the mpg
Soon my friend. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I didn’t see it in the comments, but when you say “puck”, is that just a front leveling spacer?
Yeah that’s what I’m referring to, sorry for the confusion. Thank you for watching and commenting!
You'll take a pretty sizeable hit on mpg with the tires sticking out due to aerodynamic disadvantage, nevermind the heavier tires, lift etc.
Actually we did it back in the beginning of March and are still getting 41 mpg on trips. I agree that the the poke won’t help but it doesn’t hurt as bad as you’d think. Thank you for watching and commenting!
41 mpg? Is that correct or a typo?
@@rickywilkin3524 no way that's right. I have a 22 PB and you don't get better than 22/23mpg
What's the new MPG?
I'm waiting on rough country’s reply to see if this kit will fit my 21 F150 3.0 Powerstroke
I’m almost 100% that it will fit. Also it’s dope you got a diesel F150. They are rare as heck. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@ColeCulture I wanted to provide an update for others that may come here. Rough country said this kit will not fit the 3.0 diesel as the springs are not rated for it.
Rough Country said the kit that fits it would be part #41430. The kit will fit the 3.0 diesel by using the stock struts.
Awesome thanks for letting everyone know.
Do you have the part number. When I contacted Rough Country They told me they don"t have a kit for a Powerboost FX4 wondering what kit did you use.
It’s just the normal kit for a 2021+ f-150. They never tested on a PB so they say it doesn’t fit to be safe. But I’ve done it to two PB and they fit just fine.
@@ColeCulture do you happen to have the part number so i can get the same one. The guy from RC just told me that just because you made it work doesn't mean that the Geometry is the right one. Im just saying screw it and lifting it.
Are you only a Ford guy? On the fence between the 23 Powerboost or the Tundra TRD Offroad?
I have 3 2022 f-150s. You could say I’m a little biased lol.
@@ColeCulture had an f150 years ago really liked it
Have a 2010 Nissan Frontier now which is the best thing I ever bought not 1 issue in 13 years
Wife is a Toyota fan girl (has the 4runner Trd off road)
But I test drove the powerboost and really loved it
The tech is intimidating a little but edging towards that over the Tundra and Ford is giving me invoice pricing around 6k under msrp
I have a 2022 f150 currently I put on 295/55/20 with -18 offset, they rubbing all over non trimable areas putting 3 inch lift kit and I’m hoping this will solve the problem.
Is it rubbing crash bars? You can remove those and if really isn’t a safety problem and they are easy to remove.
@@ColeCulture nope it’s hitting the bumper, I trimmed crash bar in the back, and the valance, noticed it rubbing the front crash bar, was about to trim front down, but noticed it rubbing into the bumper, not will to cut corner of bumper off haha, so ya I’ll let ya know how it is with 3inch lift
did you had to add the 0.25inc wheel spacer they recommend?
Added 75 actually. We like the look but if you wanna extreme off road then I wouldn’t use wheel spacers. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Bro, 33's come in many different sizes. What's the exact tire size?
Also, What's the wheel diameter and offset? Thanks. Looks good.
Exact size doesn’t really matter because it’ll be different for every rim size but I am pretty sure they are 275/65R18 116T XL††
But I don’t have them right in front of me. This truck isn’t gonna be off roading to much so we felt comfortable with a 2 inch wheel spacers. Thank you for watching and commenting!
275/65R18 equates to 32.1"x10.8"/18. That's the stock tire size. You would need 275/70r18 for a 33" tall tire.
It kinda does matter. Your viewers and subscribers want to know details so they know what fits and what looks good.
Nice 👏👌
Thanks!
how much gas mileage go down? (what were you seeing, what are you seeing now?)
On this truck, no noticeable difference. But on the white truck on the channel there is a big difference.
@@ColeCulture 3 inch lift on the white one as well? What truck is that? F150? With what engine? Thanks.
Would you buy a ford truck from National city ford?
Is that a dealership? I’m not familiar with it. I always recommend looking into a dealership thoroughly before buying. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Like the lift, not a fan of the wheels
The tires size? Or the wheel themselves? If it’s the wheels, what is it your not a fan off? I like them and put them through there paces. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@ColeCulture wheels themselves
So are you actually using a 2014-20 RC like the one you linked?
No I didn’t realize that’s the one I linked. It is the 2022 kit on rough country.
Did u have to go bck to dealer to adjust sensors and cameras since u did lift. Heard its needed ??
We didn’t have to go back to the dealer. The shop we took it to adjusted the speedometer and it’s not really a big enough height difference to adjust the lights and sensors. Although we may go 35s in the future and if we do then we would adjust everything at that point because I think it would but it over the age. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Stance looks great but those wheels are just plain ugly. First thing I thought of was those ugly flat disc wheels on the Harley edition.
15 52s HDs are one of the highest selling rims on the market. Everyone can have there own opinions but calling them ugly is incorrect, money talks. Your more than welcome to say you don’t like them. Thanks for watching and commenting!
lame
Lol thanks for your awesome opinion
