Two Toes the Legend! My 6 year old girls are even fans! Thank you for responding to my email about detecting a while back, it was really helpful. Found my first small piece of gold by "checking where others probably havent" Thanks Man.
I agree with Todd's comment but mine's tuned instead to iron 🤪. Every video from Gary is another inspiration to get out and use the knowledge he shares. Thanks for caring and sharing.⛏💰
I love it! If you're feeling teachy I'd love to drive down this summer and spend an afternoon digging! I'm about 5 hours north of you, but I've been watching your channel since I've started a few years ago. I'm on the Smith river and you're only allowed to pan on it, but I've been finding a little more each year :) Going to invest in a detector here in the next month or two, though. Either way, keep 'em coming. You're channel is full of good information!
Ahhhhhhh..... Nuthin' better than the morning coffee, pumpernickel french toast & a new Two Toes gold video. Nice job Gary and thanks for brightening our day. Q. You guys do a lot of boulder scrambling. Do you or Jeff have any specific favourite footwear that's especially non-slip? I've never seen ANYONE mention this but I would think that having the best coefficient of friction would go a long way in keeping the day go well. Thanks for any input. JB
Funny you should say that, I noticed my boots have been slipping quite a bit lately. I think the problem is the soles are worn smooth and I'm to cheep to by new ones.
@@TwoToes Yikes!!! Speaking from experience, one good slip can ruin your prospecting season. I know you told us that you managed to end up with a chunk of metal in your left arm ..... BUT .....due to a slip on a boulder (wet shoe soles + sand = ball bearings / roller skates) I now also have a chunk of metal in my left arm. Thankfully it was my arm and not a leg. Crawling up a long hill would take more than a few hours and is hell on the jeans.
The tip I learned from this video is to never leave a spot until you “warsh your crevice.” Gotta flush that dirt out to see what’s hiding in the very bottom!
thanks for sharing. i felt compelled to buy some of your products today. i'm getting something out of your videos and i am happy to help support what you do. thanks again so much for sharing your knowledge!
You guys give me that itch to get back out there and find the shiny but unfortunately my River is high water and the mosquitoes are atrocious. I’m figuring a few sniping videos from Two Toes real soon 👍. Take care Gary and Jeff!
You ever want to do some prospecting in south dakota? You and Jeff have a place to stay if you ever come out. Look me up at the box elder hardware store. Love your video's.
Thanx for the videos there very informative, I have always wanted to give gold panning a try n now I have the time n a lil extra $ Iwant to buy a decent gold detector, what do u recommend I've have bout $900, what do u think ????
Prop sells as is so u get close to 24 carat price but most are between 18/22 carats should check out Kelsh’s channels he did all 52 states and gave a break down on purity
The purity varies quite a bit on different rivers. In my area Butte Creek is about 92% the next river over is the West Branch and it's around 89%. You go north a bit to the Redding Area and it goes down to around 85%.
Glad you found that gold... I thought for once I was going to get to call you “Gary The Garbage Man”... Haha think again! Thanks for the knowledge two toes 🙏
One thing no one seems to talk about is claims. The yuba rivers from what the diggings shows are completely covered from one end to the other. I’m afraid/ respectful to walk around with a detector. Kind of limits any fun.

It's amazing that a site so close to the road still has that much gold. The previous detectorists probably didn't have Minelabs :)
Everyone thinks areas close to the road are trash, which is the reason they are actually good lol.
Gold is where you find it!
So happy to have a Two Toes video this morning nice to learn from the Master as much as possible👍🏾

The first target was probably a 2 oz nugget embedded in one of the rocks you chucked at the beginning.
That's sad to hear that your Snowpack is so light. Same story here in Western Slope Colorado. Nice gold. A gram is good any day.
That's a lot of lead but worth it cuz that's some nice looking gold awesome job you guys thanks for sharing 🤟✅
Wow. That was awesome.

what did I tell you about throwing really fine gold back to grow? lol
Good vid Gary!
It would be cool if sometimes you could comment on the purity
Of the gold from the various places you visit.

It’s always a great day when your on the gold
Hey Jeff has a GPAA member am I allowed to go to the Nugget hunt and July of 23 if you're still having it
It's nice when they make a clunk in the pan. When does Jeff get to win?
not very often thats for sure !!!!!
This is awesome.
Ha! I finally beat you AND Jeff on the gold weigh-in on my last 2 trips! That almost never happens! You've got me beat for lead though!
I was after Lead !!!! LOL
Boy! That was WORK!
My eye scales are almost calibrated again. I guessed 1.74 right before the weigh in. Wonder what that nugget Jeff found weighed?
you have to watch my video to find out !!!!!! when i have time to edit it !!!! LOL

I've been watching you for a long time and wondered if you have ever been run out if the woods by a bigfoot. Just curious.
Big bears - yes Bigfoot - not yet.
🌲Are u to do something if that place u find a lot of gold ? Add some music to the video or u sing a song ? 🎵 it will really interesting ! !
Never skip lunch!! Lol

Why don’t you ever use a magnet for cleaning black sand?
I use a magnet for the finial clean up.
