Soooo mr pauly do you have a date when you will visit these guys ? Jeff did mention something about a plan ??? The suspense will kill me ....when will we see the toque and bathrobe wandering these rivers ???
Well I have been trying to get out there since 2017 but just couldn't get things to line up on my end. As it stands at the moment, next spring I will be in California 🇺🇸!
'Very thankful to have someone as experienced and knowledgeable as yourself, who's willing to share. Really, thanks Gary, for being so generous with the thing you love to do.
At 18:30 just to the left of the piece of gold that you got, it looked like another little nugget in that small crevice. Maybe, maybe not. Thanks for allowing us all to go along with you on your sniping adventure.
Your Sniping videos are my favorite type of videos on your channel. You do good filming and you do an excellent job explaining of what is going on on the screen.
Thanks Gary seen you had a video up this morning and like Pioneer poly I got all excited so I got me a nice cuppa coffee sat down and watched i'm glad you got to get out this weekend your RUclips channel has helped me in so many ways can't thank you enough
Virtually everything I know about finding gold I learned from watching your videos over the last couple years. Thanks for being so generous with your knowledge. It’s evident that you love what you do and that’s what makes your videos so easy to watch. Looking forward to the next one! Thanks so much Gary!
Going sniping for the first time today! 5AM, and I'm so excited I'm wide awake ! That bar is hard to find in Canada. I did eventually find one at Midland Tools in Courtenay BC.
A Gary I started on your old videos and watched a lot working my way to your most recent videos and you made a lot of videos all your videos are grate you got your shit together. You keep making them I'll keep watching them thanks brother you keep on trucking bro. Rob from Fresno California.
Good practical advice there Gary, especially first removing the bottle beneath your sleeve. For me, it's not the price of gold, but the excitement of sniping it. Finding a gram or more could take hours; in very cold water, taking long hours makes for a very good night's sleep at the end of the day by the campfire. Thank you Gary for inspiring my preteen girl and her best friend. It pleases me so much when we hand down our knowledge to young learners. All the very best!
thank you Gary for the new video to watch....i hope your Father is fine and all's well with you.. it's so nice to relax and watch you out there doing what you really enjoy. stay safe my friend.
Another great video! If I could share one thing from a bad experience I had. When in the field, always use plastic vials. More than once I have dropped a glass vial, and broke it. Not such a big deal if you are getting bigger pickers, but it can ruin your day if you drop a vial with very fine gold. I drill a hole in the plastic vial cap then epoxy a small stainless steel eyebolt. This will allow you to attach a piece of paracord so you can wear it around your neck. Thanks for taking the time to put out some very cool videos!
Top notch vid Gary. You are teaching a lot of people great trade secrets, but afterall, thats what its all about. Thanks for your willingness to share with everybody!!
Great video! I have that prybar and love it. Gotta keep that sharp point covered with plastic tube when walking around with it. One time I slipped on a rock and thought i was going to fall on it. I threw it from my hand real quick to avoid Impailing myself.
Good Moring! Just the thing with a cup of coffee. Great video Gary, I enjoyed that excellent underwater footage, thank you! The gold was darn pretty too, thanks for sharing.
Another excellent vid Gary. Thank you for enlightening us on what's actually needed for sniping, it was a real heads-up. It's something I haven't tried yet and can't wait to give it a go. Look forward to your next posting :)
Some things lying around I set aside or pick up for crevices, old pain roller handles, you can bend them the way you want. Don't worry about the end not being flat, it'll flatten on it's own, you can grind them too.
I carry 4 tools for broad search snipping. Sucker bulb, rock hammer with sharp tip, pry bar, and a special snipe crevice tool made out of 1/2 in. Rebar
I'm following from Portugal, learning so I can put it into practice one day. There are not exactly the same conditions as in other countries, but gold is registered in various parts of the country. If anyone reads the commenter and is in Portugal, say something.
Nice video Gary, thanks for teaching your techniques, That's the same spot I keep gold rings when I'm diving, right in the sleeve of my wetsuit in a little pouch.
Thought I would see if there was anything I had missed on your vids. This one is great! You posted it just before my kidney and cancer got removed. (talk about hosing up sniping season!) That is why I missed it I guess... You gotta come up to my claim late next season to snipe. I think your scale will make you smile that day. Thanks again for sharing some really good info.

Fantastic tutorial two toes. Gonna have to get a crevicing tool like that and find a spot here on the east fork san gabriel river to practice on. Not gonna surf again until the weather is warmer so I can put my wetsuit to other uses. You make it seem easy, but that's just reading the area right. Thanks for sharing
LOL you caught on to my evil plan, have to stay ahead on the gold count. Funny thing, this coming monday, if I get it done, I am going to post a video on the boil hole.

Gary, great video and I really like the instructional value of this one. Trying to figure out where we have bedrock exposed like down here in SoCal so I can put this to good use! Keep up the great work!
I was also happy to see this video today, but Gary and everyone, I need to share what happened to me today directly after watching this video. Even though I live in the middle of the city, Tucson Az. I was triggered that much that I got my pick and knife and metal detecter and went to my local wash which now goes under the mall, and I searched for maybe some good sand under the big rocks in the wash! Now we did have a bunch of rain the last two days and this wash was probably 2 foot high of water yesterday, but today is just a big pool of water next to the concrete. anyway I was finding trash but my labrador was loving the water and I even noticed a fresh quarter or something shining back heavy in the sun that was at the bottom of this pool. So I stayed for awhile, found nothing and almost forgot about the quarter so right before I leave I grab the coin. Wow! It was what appeared to be a brand new coin, I'll show you as I will make a video about this tonight, but it was a 1915 French Gold Coin! A small one just over 1/10th Oz but OMG! It appears to be in perfect condition and it was so bright nobody could have missed it! Wow! So Gary, You literally got me fired up so much I went on an impossible gold search and I came home with a 1915 gold coin within a hour and a half!

I had no idea my brother was standing in the middle of the creek panning about 75 yards down stream. Iater that evening he was telling us about this rattlesnake that came swimming by him.
