- Wondering where to eat in Manila? in this city it's not hard to find good food everywhere. But what if you're here for a vacation or a short stop over? Both Filipino's and foreigners may have a hard time finding what some of the better restaurants are in the area. In this video I am focusing on the Poblacion neighbourhood of Makati to bring you some of the best of this trendy neighbourhood has to offer.
I have covered Filipino food ad naseum in my time in country so in this video I want you to be able to discover some international food you may not want to miss. Don't worry, there is some Filipino food in here too. I dive into some of the best Thai food I have had outside of Thailand and a Mexican restaurant that will give any Mexican Restaurant a run for it's money outside of Mexico. And yes, that includes any US Tex-Mex joint you can find. I also take my viewers up on their recommendation of trying the toasted Sio Pao from the local staple Lola Nena's and finish it all off with craft beer, elegant cocktails and some filipino classics as well as some Filipino fusion at Alamat Filipino cuisine.
So hit that subscribe button and get unready to loosen your pants as I gorge my way through Poblacion and show you where to eat in Manila

Wondering where to eat in Manila? Look nor further if you're in Makati/Poblacion. These are some of my favourite eats in this super trendy neighbourhood
This is my favorite RUclips Channel, the ultimate guide that features Filipino cuisine. I’d shut tue front door 😂 when he has new videos! Hi Geoff! 😀
Happy Chinese new year my friend!
CHÚC MỪNG NĂM MỚI 😂
I like how you're sampling all restaurants in the Philippines not limited to typical Filipino food that has been rehashed by 1000x places
I have been here so long it's hard to find something new to show everybody. Much like you said it is me eating the same Filipino food over and over again. Thank you so much for the kind words and watching!❤
Watching your vlogs gives me so much happiness!!! 😀😀😀
Thank you so much, Charms❤️
my man got tipsy! hehehe have fun Geof!
I got hammered that night. 😂 And this entire video was filmed in about 7 hours. I was exhausted and super bloated so Em and I sat around for a few more cocktails at Alamat before we called it a night😁
My gosh! The best spread ever! Am drooling all over my phone🤤🤤🤤. I do not drink beer but the Ube Beer and the Ube Cake Cocktail will definitely order! Woooow!!!
This was a fun one to film, Sadohr. The only negative it was all done in about 7 hours so no stop eating at every place. 😁
Omg! That's a lot of food😂😂😂
Wow...Nice mouth watering vlog
Thank you so much @loq02_orig!❤
Thank you again, Christmas in the Philippines you will have an awesome time be careful with the firecrackers maybe do a vlog stay safe and strong as usual
Thank you my friend! Happy Holidays!

You already know it, Frankie
2 places are definitely on my list now. Thanks.

Bunch of good places. Thanks for showing
Thank you, Kevin!
I love watching your vlogs , but you always make me hungry 😢
Sorry, Mayette!😁
You making me hungry again sir 😂😂
I'm sorry again, Chemmy!😂
Oh.. If you're still in the area maybe you can go to Korea Town and check out some good Korean eats..
i am considering a Malate food tour after the New Year and before i leave the country
Have you tried roadside rotisseries, like Andok's and Baliwag?... You should try their roasted chicken and liempo/pork belly. These are either dipped in Mang Tomas liver sauce or spiced vinegar and also paired with rice.
Yes I have, and there is already a video out featuring both Andok's, Baliwag and 2 others. People like it wnouch that i am in the process of putting together another featuring 4 more places that my viewers voted for. You can watch the first one here:

i didn't click on this for thai food review! but good to know there's good pad ka pao there. :)
It is hard to find a decent one outside of Thailand to be honest. The spice level could be more for me but for overall flavour it is very good at Crying Tiger
@PureDetour if you ever go to Hollywood, CA, you must go to Sanamluang Cafe. They serve great pad ka pao, among many other dishes. Been going there for years.
I want to try that food, looks delicious. Thai food.
Crying Tiger is awesome, Maria. Hope you get the chance to try it.😁
@@PureDetour Thank you. Yes we will try it, I already told my bf that we should visit the crying tiger anytime soon. I'm so excited.
You will both love it. Just ask them not to make the Papaya salad and Pad Krapau as spicy as they do for me. 😁
@@PureDetour hahaha. I will.
@@PureDetour i already checked the location via google map, we usually stay in makati near Makati Ave, and we did not know that there was a Thai food near us. Untill I saw this video, thank you for sharing this to us. We will be there soon.
Ohh i forgot!! “Hi Tony”.. hehe 😜
😂
what a life
Thank you my friend!❤️
I love sisig and live in SF... I've never heard of an SF Sisig?? Lots of Filipino food all around SF.
Are you becoming Filipino? Oh, that's another channel.😂
Apparently the inspiration from these tacos came from the Senor Sisig food trucks which started in San Francisco.
foooooooooood
Yes Elf, it was a lot of food again😂
Hey! I am in the Poblacion Area right now!
Nice!
Right on Leo, Hope you have a great time over there this evening😁
