I really like the way you instruct. I liked how you walked and talked us through a step, then repeated the whole process on another pack without the spoken instructions. It really illustrated each step and made the instructions sink in clearly!
Love it Baylee! Your voice is so calming. :) Wish this video would have come out a few weeks earlier... I have started packaging my buttons for Comic Con a while ago, but I think its is pretty similar. I like how you trim the top.
Baylee you've inspired me to start my own button business. I used to think that I couldn't find a hobby that fit me. I feel that making buttons will be the best hobby ever. I'm selling my buttons to make extra money
Did you do it? (: And part of a button business is also being an artist, if you want to make fan art buttons and such. Using prints you get from the internet, or screenshots from shows, could (most likely will) get you in legal trouble.
Perfect for DIY, cottage businesses, personalized gifts, custom ornaments, advertisement, souvenirs, craft projects, school and classroom functions, or just for the fun of it.
I was terrified of those cutters when I was younger xD One of the previous art teachers cut her entire hand and had to have multiple fingers removed **cringes**
This is a very helpful and insightful video. Thanks for sharing. And noticed you had some buttons with art from different years. Have you ever though about doing a " Drawing Skill Process From 2010-2016" or something along the lines of that. To show how much you have grown as a Artist. An let those who might be a bit self-conscious about their skill. That we all start off somewhere and over time get better and better. After all Practice make perfect. Again fanatic work, an can't wait to see the next project/ tutorial.
I really liked your video. It was done very professionally and didn't have annoying music. You also speak very well and to the point. I don't make buttons but I had seen this on the side to watch with ways to package your store items. Your buttons are awesome and I love your packaging technique. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for this video! How do you get the print to be so vibrant? My prints always looks faded. I'm assuming it has something to do with the print settings in Adobe Illustrator or the actual printer settings.
I didn't have access to any of these things so I just wrapped some wet strips of tissue around a coin as a mold and when it dried, I removed the coin by cutting open the back. then I wrapped paper around it and stuck on my logo before covering it with Mod Podge. Oh yeah and then I added a safety pin(?) [the ones that they use on diapers and stuff idk]. That worked out fine for me, but it depends on how low your standards are. If you have money then just buy one of those machines lol
This is such an awesome idea. I was jut researching trying to find out what tool I can buy to make the perfect holes or cuts to hold the buttons. Thanks Baylee Jae!
Oh my goodness! I'm in love with your videos! You have the sweetest voice and make everything seem so fun. Even when you stipple on a bunch of dots I'm interested XD. Keep up the good work! And I hope you become SUPER successful!
Can we get like an hour of footage of just making buttons? There's something about repetitive, monotonous activities that are so fun to watch! Please help me....
Hi Baylee, I came across your video while searching for paper types for button creations. I currently make medical buttons, however I'm not super happy with the print quality on regular printer paper. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing either through this comment section or through a video what type of paper prints the best images for the buttons!!!!
what cardstock do you use? ive never printed with it before and im not sure if mu printer can handle it? plus i have some but its Very thick its almost like bristol paper. is that normal?
I no longer trust badge making machines because my school club had one and we made a bunch for our school festival, then proceed to recieve lots of "complains" that the buttons are falling apart :")
What program are you using to create the card stock header for the bags? That's the only thing I need to make before I can start shipping out my buttons. I don't want to have to buy from a company to print custom headers. Thanks for the helpful video.
I have never had a "good" laser printer - I see you have a Canon. Could you share the printer model so I can start comparing to others of similar quality? Thanks, Donna
I feel like it would be a good idea to sell buttons on your store envy shop again for a limited time/quantity. Like just for the holidays, or you pre-make a certain amount of packs, and just sell those until they sell out.
Baylee baylee baylee guess what? 1. You sort-of helped me find my own art style & 2. You're awesome and i love your videos :D jeez please notice me 😂❤️
I have the 2015 button art pack from October past year and I haven't even opened them yet xD I wish I could get the food one and pokemon one...are you going to be doing any conventions in the vancouver area this Year?
Hi, I was wondering how do you print out best quality pictures? I have a button maker machine as well, and has sold some buttons. However, I'm not confident how some of my pictures come out, and onto the pin. What do you use to print out best quality pictures? Thank you -Samantha Raeyes
are you thinking on putting the bottoms on your online shop? I love bottoms and I will like one of your package but I don't live in Canada, I'm from Puerto Rico.
do you think you can do an update how to format buttons to print for 2021. and if you can show how to make it for 1.25 inch buttons. I keep on wasting ink putting the wrong size.
+ZombieMarvel210 I'm sure you gotta go lower on her channel cause all of the art has already been made. They're labeled art or 2015/2016 so it should be within that timeframe.
I made some buttons today in My Digital Art & Design Class! We used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Indesign, and also Illustrator to Draw out the Thumbnails! It was SOOO FUN!!! ^^
This wants me to open a button etsy shop because this looks fun to do and make when you are bored/making money which I am always bored and I can make it a job to get money to donate and use for supplies lol
I used to have a button making machine when I was a kid, I live in the UK and it was really fun to make badges, don't know what happened to it tho :/ have to check my attic :)
Baylee how much do you sell each button set, a 9 pack and a 12 pack. And where do you get the paper for the heading? I need your opinion on it since im starting my own business
Why did I watch this when I don't own a badge maker nor do I have the need to make badges? Because Bailey made it. That's why.
Fr. For me it's the same for diys LIKE WHO HAS THE TIME TO MAKE UR PWN LIPSTICK go buy a 2$ one at the dollar store XD
I'm watching while too broke to make buttons and cryinngng

Madeleine Rose same 😂♥️
Madeleine Rose same. #Brokeaf
I really like the way you instruct. I liked how you walked and talked us through a step, then repeated the whole process on another pack without the spoken instructions. It really illustrated each step and made the instructions sink in clearly!
All the effort she uses to make these packages. Then we go home and tear it to shreds
fatmango We don't tear packaging in India though. Maybe the rest of Asia too.
you pay for it so
I bought some but I keep them in the packaging lol
Love it Baylee! Your voice is so calming. :) Wish this video would have come out a few weeks earlier... I have started packaging my buttons for Comic Con a while ago, but I think its is pretty similar. I like how you trim the top.
Baylee you've inspired me to start my own button business. I used to think that I couldn't find a hobby that fit me. I feel that making buttons will be the best hobby ever. I'm selling my buttons to make extra money
PrincessBunny456 me too, I am finding something that not earns you extra money but for a hobby, too.
Did you do it? (:

I can't even draw nor do I go to conventions or have a store, but............. I really wanna do this. Like really bad lmao
Okay I'm totally subbed now! Your art us gorgeous and I'm getting so many ideas for my stalls!
VisualSounds1 ASMR helo
VisualSounds1 ASMR ,
if i were rich i would like to buy some button pin maker, copics, printer and etc 😭
Pixie :3 omg same like when u wanna be an artist and do all of this fun arts and crafts but ur broke
Same. My friend has copic marker. Like, a full set. And if they disappear, I don't know anything...😁
Pixie :3 I feel you😢
You don’t need to be rich to buy copics. It just requires saving and buying them incrementally. I’m not “rich” and I’ve managed to accumulate 120-ish
I’m 12 and I have all those things🙀
omg your art looks so sweet on those badges! great idea, tx for sharing;)
You know what's so cute is that you make ever one by hand and that makes the buttons special and you add a little bit of love in ever one! 💜
Do you ever poke yourself when u put the buttons on the foam?? I feel like I would poke my thumb all the time lol
I was terrified of those cutters when I was younger xD
One of the previous art teachers cut her entire hand and had to have multiple fingers removed **cringes**

This kinda gives me the warm and fuzzies to know you make your buttons by hand. It's just kinda nice to know.
I really love this I just got my button maker and was having trouble seeing how to package them this totally helped.
I really liked your video. It was done very professionally and didn't have annoying music. You also speak very well and to the point. I don't make buttons but I had seen this on the side to watch with ways to package your store items. Your buttons are awesome and I love your packaging technique. Thanks for the video.
Could you do a video on how you decide to price your artwork? I really want to start selling my art but this is the hardest part for me.
Mikaela Howard Same here..... ( - ◇ - ;)
Dang it, this is why I love being an artist. You can do so many cute, fun things like this and get paid for it.
Thanks for this video! How do you get the print to be so vibrant? My prints always looks faded. I'm assuming it has something to do with the print settings in Adobe Illustrator or the actual printer settings.
Omg this was such a good Tuesday video! At the end of the video all those buttons where so attention grabbing. Makes me want to buy all of them.
Omg! I can't believe Canada is blessed with you, Bailey! 😘
if i had that button Maker, i would.have made so much money from selling buttons at school
Omg Baylee!!! I didn't know you were from Vancouver! I am too and that makes me so happy because it's hard to find youtubers that are from where I am!
Hi Baylee can you please tell me what size are your buttons please thank you 😊💋 love the video
so early! Love them, they're so cute 💕😍
Hi Lari!!❤💛💚💙💜
I didn't have access to any of these things so I just wrapped some wet strips of tissue around a coin as a mold and when it dried, I removed the coin by cutting open the back. then I wrapped paper around it and stuck on my logo before covering it with Mod Podge. So much effort goes into making something that a lot of us would take for granted at conventions 😍 lots of love xo
I got so anxious when she started pinning them..
0:15 I have never seen a cat trying to print something before xD
This is such an awesome idea. I was jut researching trying to find out what tool I can buy to make the perfect holes or cuts to hold the buttons. Thanks Baylee Jae!
That was super helpful! I'm getting ready for an art walk in November so I want to try and make some.
Im starting to collect these so this is nice
I wanna start this business bc i love so many things and have ideas
I used to have a cheap little hand-held button-maker that I got in Wal-mart waay beck in high school, and I haven't been able to find it again since.
Your videos are so relaxing to watch
How do you make it perfectly sized?
Oh my goodness! I'm in love with your videos! You have the sweetest voice and make everything seem so fun. Even when you stipple on a bunch of dots I'm interested XD. Keep up the good work! And I hope you become SUPER successful!
Thank you so much for making this video. This and your other button making video has been so helpful to me.
I just bought a button press yesterday, I'm excited to get started, I'm sure your videos are going to be a great help! Thank you! :)
Can we get like an hour of footage of just making buttons? There's something about repetitive, monotonous activities that are so fun to watch! Please help me....
Hi Baylee,
I came across your video while searching for paper types for button creations. I currently make medical buttons, however I'm not super happy with the print quality on regular printer paper. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing either through this comment section or through a video what type of paper prints the best images for the buttons!!!!

On your new vlog I commented on how I wanted a tutorial and then I saw this and I got so happy 😭😭😍😍❤️❤️
I no longer trust badge making machines because my school club had one and we made a bunch for our school festival, then proceed to recieve lots of "complains" that the buttons are falling apart :")
This is awesome. Never thought to use foam pieces. I have a pack just sitting there used. Thanks for the tips, brilliant. :)
What program are you using to create the card stock header for the bags? That's the only thing I need to make before I can start shipping out my buttons. I don't want to have to buy from a company to print custom headers. Thanks for the helpful video.
Do you know the name of the program?
what convention are you making these buttons for? and are you going to the Vancouver fan expo this year??
I have never had a "good" laser printer - I see you have a Canon. Could you share the printer model so I can start comparing to others of similar quality? Thanks, Donna
Donna Anderson YES PLEASE! It's so hard finding a good printer.
Yeah, I want to know the same.
Hey Donna what doin

that's amazing! thinking of starting my own business and this video is really helping!
thank you! ♥
Do you have a video outlining startup and production costs as well as markup and pricing?
I feel like it would be a good idea to sell buttons on your store envy shop again for a limited time/quantity. Like just for the holidays, or you pre-make a certain amount of packs, and just sell those until they sell out.
this is so helpful thanks Baylee I love your artwork
Wow! I can’t believe you make all these by hand!!
I love it this has made me give so much thought! And its super easy to make! Thank You so much for this tutorial
Baylee baylee baylee guess what? 1. You sort-of helped me find my own art style & 2. You're awesome and i love your videos :D jeez please notice me 😂❤️
Hi baylea jea can you please tell us where you bought your button maker?
I have the 2015 button art pack from October past year and I haven't even opened them yet xD I wish I could get the food one and pokemon one...are you going to be doing any conventions in the vancouver area this Year?
Where in Vancouver is the convention happening.(sorry my grammar is bad) Because I live in Surrey BC. I can drive there but I don't know where to...
my question is what kind of printer do you use that the color comes out so good? anytime I use a printer to print a picture, the color is terrible.
Hi, I was wondering how do you print out best quality pictures? I have a button maker machine as well, and has sold some buttons. However, I'm not confident how some of my pictures come out, and onto the pin. What do you use to print out best quality pictures? Thank you -Samantha Raeyes
thank you for the information!!! your buttons are so beautiful since you are a great artist!! the buttons come more bigger right?
why is this so satisfying to me?
are you thinking on putting the bottoms on your online shop? I love bottoms and I will like one of your package but I don't live in Canada, I'm from Puerto Rico.

I love ur designs!!😍
do you think you can do an update how to format buttons to print for 2021. and if you can show how to make it for 1.25 inch buttons. I keep on wasting ink putting the wrong size.

Yeah I was wondering about that to.
+ZombieMarvel210 I'm sure you gotta go lower on her channel cause all of the art has already been made. They're labeled art or 2015/2016 so it should be within that timeframe.
+Platinum Shiro I have looked through there and I can't find anything. Thanks for your help though ☺
She didn't HAVE to make a video on it. She doesn't film everything she makes
Baylee, you make super cute designs!!!. Where did you purchase your hole puncher at?

Omg I would definitely buy some of your buttons!
But sadly I can't because of personal reasons
I used to have a button making machine when I was a kid, I live in the UK and it was really fun to make badges, don't know what happened to it tho :/ have to check my attic :)
Baylee how much do you sell each button set, a 9 pack and a 12 pack. And where do you get the paper for the heading? I need your opinion on it since im starting my own business

NarWhallets You sure? Cause that seems kind of too less for the amount
ugh the 2015 set

I've thought about doing this but my printer's ink usually runs about pretty quickly, or the colours aren't nice enough
