Hi Renea. I kept shouting that you are forgetting the cranberries but I guess you could not hear me LOL! At least you remembered when all was said and done! ps: you seemed to have forgotten to add the cranberries to the recipe too LOL!! Everything looked great. The one cereal I use is Crispix-one side is rice and the other is corn (or wheat) I can't remember, but it is a cool shape and adds character to a snack mix. The tea towels are lovely and handmade with love--does not get any better than that--a great gift! Have a blessed day.

I have a recipe that I found years ago in a book. I make it every holiday season. It’s a snack using fish crackers,ranch dressing mix, dill weed, lemon pepper, garlic seas.& cayenne pepper. You could make it your own. I wish we had mkt stands here in the south. The breads and goodies that you make look so good. Good luck with yours!

Hi Renea & John! Great video! I usually make the snack mix in the fall. I also put crunchy cheetos, corn nuts, cheezits, shoestring potatoes and croutons in mine. I also use probably a bottle and a half of worcestershire sauce and approx a 1/4 to a 1/3 cup of garlic powder if not more to the melted butter. I bake it in a 22 qt roaster pan and my family absolutely loves it. It takes quite some time to bake but is so worth it in the end. Thanks for sharing!

I keep a pre-mixed “jug” of the cereal mix handy. When I get a craving, I put a small amount in the microwave and cook it according to the instructions. I’m the only one who eats it, so it works out fine. If I think it’s going to get stale, I vacuum pack it in half gallon mason jars 😊

When I make large batches of chex mix . I use my big electric roaster to bake it. It safes so much time.
I was just going to suggest the same thing. Chelsey@Oururbanhomestead uses her roaster oven also, I'm gonna try it as I make huge batches during the holidays. I just love your videos Renea!

Lol😂because it’s late ⏰…well it’s 7oclock! Heck I was beating my granddaughter to bed some nights when I was there helping out and she’s only 1 year old!
My daughter would take her up to the bathtub and I’d clean up the dishes and make a cup of tea and up to bed I’d head and I’d lay down and every bone in my body and muscle would be just throbbing and I’d have a smile on my face because I had been working from Dawn til dusk just doing anything I could to help out their sweet home. Exhaustion is a wonderful feeling at times. Unfortunately my grandbaby is in hospital at the moment with pneumonia and id give anything to feel that physical exhaustion I’m just praying she will be well and back home soon. I’m going back to stay with them for a few days so mom and dad can get caught up on sleep because they sure haven’t been sleeping much while in hospital by her side. Thank you for making me laugh and the kiss in the kitchen was so sweet it reminded me of my sweetheart.

An idea you may want to try. I make a lot of this at Christmas as gifts and I also use my big stainless-steel bowl to mix it it. I then use the same big bowl to put in my oven and bake it right in that. I bake mine for about 1 hour on 250 stirring every 15 mins. Works perfectly.
Hi Renea I love making snack mix. With butter so expensive I started using olive oil. I think I like it better it gets a little crispier. Love your videos!

Renee that looks good what you granolas they are good I have never made them my sister has I've ate hers and the other one you made with the pretzels the cereal and all of them I can't make that one and I do once in a blue moon but they look delicious and I know you're staying with all of that stuff you make his going to go over great between the brownies and the granola they are going to be eating up pretty fast God bless you sweetie call me when you get a chance
