Dude I am getting goose bumps watching how things are progressing so well. It is amazing how you estimated everything correctly. You said that you will be done by the build in fall time. I can’t wait to see the final product. Super awesome!!!!! Keep up the great work!
Don’t know if anyone said it yet but where you hold a torque wrench is very important. Next time advise her to keep her hand on the handle to apply proper torque specs. Love your builds!
To make the sealant easier to apply. I take a larger cotter pin and slide it on the end of the silicone tube. Then put a small screwdriver threw the eye of the cotter pin and twist it like a toothpaste squeezer.
Not to worry you but please measure the flywheels bolts. The ones supplied may be a different length than the OEM. They can torque down but mght be off.
Wouldn’t you want to torque the bolts in the opposite side sequence like you would lug nuts on wheels? I got the same 9” X Clutch twin but with solid organic discs. Same 900 ft lb clamp force rating for my fk8 Honda Civic Type R which is at 686 whp 550 ft lbs
Hey man I'm in the process of building my speed and was wondering if you bought a new keyed crankshaft from massive speed or sp63, or if you had everything keyed from a machine shop. I've seen from a few people that the keyed crank pully and gears they ordered from sp63 weren't in the right spot for the engine to be keyed. I'd rather order just the gears from massive speed and have my crank and crank pulley keyed from my machine shop as it would be alot less expensive than a whole new crank when I have lile 2 good ones.
Make sure you dont forget to take the timing tool out of the rear of the motor....also you are supposed to rotate the motor 2 full turns to make sure nothing binds....
getting pumped to go reel in some try hards??. zoom zoom sweet dude. the wait pays off!! awesome. what are you going to use for injectors? oems? and im talking about the factory injectors not the aux ones.
Hahaha thanks man! Really hope it goes my way for once..... to answer your question , No one makes aftermarket direct Injection injectors unfortunately. That’s the main reason why aux fuel is introduced!
I just talked to them today and their bolts are higher grade and don't stretch and are reusable the guy that installed mine did it wrong so I need new pads 😢 it literally has 2500 miles on it
