That's easily fixed. The bracket up top where pipe fits on with clip...Under neath the bracket there's a bolt holding it to engine the bracket is slotted. Just undo bolt below pipe on bracket then push down and titen up. This will clear hood.
Absolutely no difference to power, torque or fuel economy with 2014 D40. But more engine noise. and not the cool sweet engine, just shitty engine noise. Spend your money on something else.
Replaced my intercooler hose and installed new hose in less than 1 minute.

Theoretically, maybe a 1/10 of a second to expand pressurize the hose.... it seems nonsense.
