Knowledge over dignostic tools wins the day.
Perfect example of its the person on the tools not the tool that fixes things.

Great video thanks! Couple of questions on Navara NP300's: is DPF soot content a calculation (assumption?) based on various parameters etc, rather than an actual soot weight?
Also is the engine oil dilution a calculation or assumption, rather than actual following a DPF regen?
    Thanks. 👍

I wonder if you went in via Renault laguna as that engine is available on the laguna, would you get more live data options? If it went in at all....

I have a v6 navara that is running rough when cold but runs fine when it's hot!!! Any ideas at all!!! Been at the mechanics for a month now and they are trying everything but cannot find the problem!!! Any ideas or anyone else with any ideas would be most helpful. Cheers

On the snap on there was exhaust gas pressures on the bottom of the screen, was that for the dpf ?

if it is not done correctly you have approx 5-6 months fun driving and eventually car dies down, wont start at all;) had a customer with a so called out coded egr where egr itself werent planked out and over time it kept building up residue causing engine not start symptoms and if customer wont even tell you about that "egr delete" procedure what he let to carry out you look problem like a needle from haystack.... had several hours fun trying to find problem due lack of correct information about it but i did find the culprit. My own personal 3.0 i just replaced egr at 110k kms , now has 190k+ on clock and basically 0 problems so far only regular service and keep going, and with dpf cars it is highly recomended that you take it for longer drives also incase you live at city and do small distances.

@@KillSwitchGarage I blanked it and had phantom tuning in Bedford map it out, with a basic stage tune, who I wasn't too impressed by. 2.5 years later not a chirp.

Mine is the 2.5 diesel BTW. My point was more about nightmare Nissan diagnostics, unless you have a Consult clone,
