Charles is good at getting his kids to be honest with themselves. "Say it: 'I wanted to see again for me.'" Then with Laura: "Say it: 'My brother's going to die.'"
@arleiabellewen - Not only that...it's contagious! Remember the episode "Winoka Warriors" with the blind football player named Tom? Charles' son-in-law Adam confronted Tom's father. "Just say it! I can't stand to look at my son!"
how old are mary and laura supposed to be in this season? i've missed quite a few episodes. i was surprised to see mary already a teacher and married but laura still in school with pig tails. sad episode. i really wanted her to see
@LibertyCrusader no she did need it, if he had pampered her it would have allowed her to continue to feel sorry for herself,and back then they didnt know about Neurological disorders...to them her seeing light was a mircle..
So what if Mary wanted to see again? What's so bad about that? Why does everyone have to be so harsh with Mary like this? Sorry, but so far it seemed to me that people tried to make Mary hate herself. I do however agree she needed a reality check, but why be so harsh?
@QueenBrendaSIV you're definitely correct but 'false friend'!! you're spanish, right? what you meant to say by 'insensible' is actually insensitive. sorry i teach english in spain and its a very common error that they make. you can tell me to mind my own business if you like! :)
@QueenBrendaSIV oh ok thanks! funny you say that though about watching this in spanish but to tell you the truth in general i cannot stand watching dubbed versions of american/english movies! for example i was watching hannah montana one time and she as a 16 year old sounded like a 50 year old! but ok il give it a go watching this in spanish and il let you know!
when i was a teenager i worked in a ladys clothes shop and a blinde women came in and i had to help her find the sizes she wanted in this jumper, i innocently asked her what colour she would like in the jumper and the women nearly bit my head off and was so rude to me swearing and shouting at me how she couldnt see it so didnt matter did it what colour it was she went mad , i said sorry and sent her out with a bright orange jumper a green scarf and a purple skirt looked ok with her gold shoes

I think that purple and pink are pretty colors; except that they wouldn't make good house colors. Too bright and wild.
they didn't put any purple on it, only pink. someday I want a purple house....

Im happy or nearly happy Mary couldn't see the painted house .lol ,pink and purple ewww .. rofl. So weird .
