Let's hope there will be the Beta HUD mod, that would be great. As for the Highway Battle HUD, it looked more NFS: Underground-ish.

The song that is exclusive in the non-Black Box versions of the game (The Pinker Tones - Electrotumbao) at 7:45 can also be found/heard in the PSP version.

Thank you for showing us some early development stages of a game. I really love to see something like this and sometimes it wonders me, why good ideas were removed from the later retail game (for example the HUD). Thank you very much :)
The reality is that Electronic arts. I order the game as quickly as possible, which forced some developers to remove some things without being able to polish them. Likewise, the Black Box studio was fragmented by EA games. And the game, along with Need for speed Carbon, is incomplete.

imagine if this was the game we got, it would be ALOT better off, especially with the other positives the final game has like a good soundtrack, decent driving model and more. Shame that BB were worked to death 💀😭

Appearently they did so it would solve/hide the pop-in along with other graphical glitches.
ah right i did notice a few flashing textures like most of the cars were white in the distance but the game did look really good and nice vid man

Yeah, to be honest, the blue HUD looked way better than the classic aqua one to me
also something weird is that in the psp version of the game the first ever job in the game is to bring a porsche 911 gt2 to a location which the location is in a moving bridge and when you jump the job ends and you have completed it and in the beta of the black box version or should i say e3 demo the one job is the first job in final game but with a porsche 911 gt2 instead of a renualt megane it's actually similar to most wanted some beta stuff where in the psp version like the blacklist menu in the most wanted beta
Did the PSP version used beta content? Because the first car the player stole is a 911 GT2 (a grey one).
Also, if I remeber correctly, multiple PS nfs's used Rockport, like NFS Carbon: Own The City and the PS2 version of NFS UC also have the ramp from NFS MW

This is the true face about NFS Undercover.
Frame rate is noticeably choppy, presumably why they had to reduce the graphics on console.
Original undercover at high graphics settings on PC looks like the console beta.

I've read someone's comment saying that Electrotumbao couldn't be used on PC/X360/PS3 because of expired license, same with *Coalition* by Tricky and *Mexican Radio* by Kinky. HOWEVER, it seems Exient Entertainment managed to lengthen it to allow use on Wii & PS2.

Porsche in the first stealing mission later migrated to the PSP version of the game. There, too, you need to steal this particular car

The water coming from wheels is pretty satisfying and it makes sense cuz the roads are noticably wet.

thig game is actually not bad...the story is aight and the tuning of the cars is cool...but hud colour, and that crappy camera and handling of cars ruined the game for me...
DyshanSRB the physics/driving is from NFS prostreet. that's why but it might be tweaked a little bit

Spicy Salt I know I'm late, but for me, cars felt much better in UC than PS. In PS turning feels like shit with assists, but without them, you can easily total your car, that's what completely ruined PS for me. Undercover was much better.
Driving for ProStreet and this game were absolutely god-awful.

Cool stuff, also...I played the Ps2 version (I still play it tho) and is pretty shitty but the soundtrack in my opinion goes very well, also try to searchmore unused songs and unused cars too :D
Regarding soundtrack, the only thing i noticed is that alot of the songs are longer and use intro's not used in the final game, and there are a gold mine of cut cars in here. Ferrari 360, Honda Civics etc.
I think they didn't put the Ferrari because Ferrari won't let them modify or tune their cars.

no they arent, this is how it looked like at one point, there are no graphical configs, and to be honest, i dont know, i know shaders can be ported, though
it looks like it even has less bugs,and better lighting,maybe when you'll release the build,i'll check it out.might be a way.

in the PSP version, they used the porshe GT2. the PC version really got downgraded.
I wonder what went wrong to make the famous graphics bug in the final PC version... I mean appart the colours that are white-ish, this version looked so great...

to be honest, the comments saying ea is crap and saying the beta is better than the final are also starting to become annyoing, most of the time beta's are worse than the final, and nfs is no exception. sure there are better visuals, but there are also, more bugs, crashes, unfinished events/story etc. people have to realize that these cuts were needed, not to piss off players, but because the developers thought it was either not right or too ambitious for their game, and again, it can be publishers too, but you cant blame ea for everything
the real reason why people say the beta is better is because a beta version is a totally different experience than the game theyre used to, its just something new, not something better.
+GrandTheftAero EA are the a$$ohles, they force Criterion Games to make two NFS games instead of Burnout game even thought that I really like both NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 and NFS Most Wanted 2012

Glad, I was going to buy a PC first before a buy a Dex kit for the Xbox 360. I don't know if the PirateBay has a different build, but I like your video of this. In fact Undercover still handles horribly than most of the TXR series.

The weirdest thing are the cop spawn rates.... in the final game there will be like 50 cops spawned around you, and here is way better and realistic with just one like here 2:43
It's a shame Black Box went out making three very mediocre Need for Speed games. I hated ProStreet, Undercover was... broken, and The Run was just plain silly.
although Undercover was broken the handling was actually really good and the physics worked well, as opposed to Need For Speed 2015 reboot physics and handling of course.
I think ProStreet was quite good tbh
Antonio Bernabe NFS MW and HP get more praise for their handling and Payback is based on MW's steering scheme. (2012 version)
