▶ How to reproduce? ◀
1) Download Cheat Engine: github.com/cheat-engine/cheat...
2) Install it on your computer.
3) Get the Cheat Table: gist.github.com/nlgxzef/c1094...
(Click "Raw" and save the page with .ct extension (All Files).)
4) Open the cheat table you downloaded. There's a few methods to do it:
4a) Double Click the cheat table.
4b) Click File 🔻 Load (Ctrl+O) and select the cheat table you downloaded.
4c) Click the 📂 folder icon at upper left portion of the window and select the cheat table you downloaded.
5) Edit the values as you want.
6) Enjoy!

It would probably be damn fast if he already had some nitrous, but it wouldn't recover.
but its best for races actually... i find it faster in any track bcs u need faster acc in most races and it recovers rlly fast so
I suggest retesting the nitro stat, raising it one notch at a time until it no longer works then show us how fast it goes. (Could be done with each stat to test the functional limits rather than maxing them out)

Killer- A 2012 wasn't bad, I actually think 2012 had the best physics out of all the NFS games. 2015 on the other hand had magnetic uncontrollable drifting.

Never knew the “ride height” slider actually lowered or raised your car. Then again, I always thought the tuning was just a placebo.
Yeah, it's something you have to observe in certain scenarios to notice it.
@@markvd1008 it helps if you are trying to use a punto to beat most of the game and upgrade it because otherwise it slides like its on ice.have it set to 2 and 2 for steering and handling and it still slides a bit but not as bad as it would otherwise
Also it becomes pretty clear when you compare ramming police blockades on late game cars. Without changing the parameters you'll rarely send a car flying and you will fly yourself, but when regulated correctly it strikes cops like a Rhino.
I think that in some settings (brakes, nitro, handling) you've overflowed variable holding X setting, turning positive value into negative, and vice-versa.
This is why over-saturated braking speeds you up, and so on.
I thought the same thing but on the other hand wouldn't the slider jump all the way into deep negative suddenly at that point?
Edit: Nvm i realized the slider (blocks) probably aren't directly linked to the variable

Visual might be simple +1 block on increase, and -1 block on decrease, It seems a bit more efficient than checking tune value->calculate amount of displayed "blocks"->update screen on each click

The nitro might have a distance variable depending on the amount of thrust it produces. So you might have had to have driven for hours to gain any.

with the super charger the reason it didnt work is because if i remeber correctly the lower the settings the lower rpm you get your boost at which is the same for the top

i've done the vlted method, it can be insane. change the charge and recharge to high values inf nos, set torque boost high and rocket foward. but if you set it too high then upon reaching top speed you shift to 1st gear and go through gears again and again.
Combine this with a fully upgraded CLK500 and it'd probably be unable to beat a stock Punto

With "too high nitrous" there's no nitrous at all, like when it's not installed
With the low nitrous its meant to give a low power shot but i guess at a certain point the value went negative and there must be a limit on how slow the bar drains. For the higher power shot maybe there isnt a limit to how fast it drains meaning it instantly drains and can never refill? Just a guess

Seeing "What if" moments like these are a breath of fresh air after my experience of going through this game as my 8 to 10-year-old self and thought there was nothing more new other than the dreaming of the "If Razor First Race" could be beaten.
This was very interesting! It would be cool if you could continue further with this idea, such as setting performance values and speed values to the integer limit or something like that. Though it would probably break the game badly.
This is interesting to look at now. It puts into perspective what they all actually do as they were a myth to me for ages and I just ignored the tuning.
However the NOS one interests me the most. From what I could observe when dial is at 0, then the nos has a value of like 2.5 per say. And when you ramp it down alot to like -20 instead of -5. You are making the increments go from 2.5 to like below 0. Thus making the car slow down instead of speed up as the coding for nos is pretty much just a second more powerful accelerator.
The alternative part to the nos with duration then gets extended by its own increment, hence why it lasts forever. I'm assuming that making the NOS tune go to like +20 would mean that the nos would last for like 1 second before running out and probably taking the same duration to fully charge to actually show as filled on the gauge.

That's kinda wierd.. I always thought too high nitrous would make it deplete slower and low would make it deplete faster but give a bigger shorter boost - kinda like the U2 duration and power settings for NOS at the dyno..

It's basically simply going down by setting it lower, and if you set it too low it goes negative which is why it deaccelerates lul
mw is reversed with ug2, left is longer duration but less power, right is more power but less duration
in this video, too low nitrous power will give you negative power of nitrous, which make your car deacclerate (positive power means accelerate while negative power means deaccelerate (braking)). too high nitrous will depleted the nitrous (maybe because the nitrous is shrinken below zero volume)
