People really need to try the appendix style carry before they bash it. Not gonna lie I used to think it was a horrible way of carrying, but after I saw the benefits of the position myself ie: faster draw, better support hand draw, and less printing. I've come to adopt it as my edc carry.
It would have nice to see the holster itself a bit more ... as in how it is attached or worn, where the gun sits in the holster, how the trigger guard is covered, etc.
As it is, this video simply demonstrates someone drawing a firearm quickly from "some kind of holster" which gets very little screen time or actual demonstration.

Here's a "holster" you can't look at or see it but let me talk about it, draw from it and talk about it more. It's a holster review but you can't see it.
And I know it's just a copy of the patented holster of Freddie Madarang. FREMA HOLSTER came before this...
If you've been keen enough you will see at 2:13 - 2:18 that it's a FREMA holster.
It's not a copy it's a FREMA but with JJ's name on it as a partner.
Renaming it and saying "it's my holster" is not saying he's a partner....

It has a full manual safety and even the goofy grip safety. A 1911 isn't any less safe than any other gun appendix.
