Wow! Amazing technique. In 0.85 seconds I barely manage to miss my right leg. I love your content. Always pure, always from the top of the line, always technically perfect and last but not least always a great motivation to train harder. Keep it on!

THANKS, for taking the time to share your experience and abilities. Breaking down to 3 steps is a great help!!! For me it is easy to over analyze and make these steps more complicated. Please keep sharing these tips!!!
Great tutorial I just realized 3 mistakes I make regularly, shoot arm foward, raising my pistol hi to come back down, not guiding my off hand to target. Great tip
I've only drawn under a second under a timer once or twice.( I have my hands almost chest level when I start) but dang, watching this guy move this fast is impressive. I was wondering if I had the playback speed on 1x.
Enjoyed this video and JJ’s perspective on merging strong and support hands at the lower position and driving forward with the support hand…the logic is undeniable! I’m eager to try it out! Thanks for the tip JJ!!
This was great content as always! Working on each movement! I can use this even with conceal draw with working on each of the step of this draw!! Thank you!! 🙏🏾
This information is exactly what I needed. Hit hard, use support hand to push out from the bottom and not miss high 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼…can’t wait to try it. I am currently at the 2 sec mark from concealment. Thank you.
Thank you JJ & Tactical Hyve. Really great informative video with cool tips. Would love to take a class with JJ. Is there a link to his schedule? 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great video. THANK YOU. I've watched your draw on many of your videos, and the camera angle always shows the back of your right hand as you draw. It is very difficult to see your right THUMB position and movement. When you snatch the gun from the holster, are you gripping it with just 4 fingers and pulling it out, or do you fully grip it with all fingers (including your right thumb)? Does your right thumb point at the ejection port on first contact, or does your right thumb point more skyward? How does your right thumb move after you engage your left hand? Seeing your draw (slo-motion) with the camera on your left front side would be most appreciated. THANK YOU for your great videos! Robert
It helps to have a holster that holds your gun away from your body and has a fairly low front that does not protect your rear sight. Also no straps: I believe the retention is the type with a button on the side you must press with the trigger finger as you get your grip or it is simply friction retention. The rig is good for a range with no restrictions. This is not an E D C friendly getup. Might be good for a security officer while on duty. Great for a range rig in say some type of competition.
AWESOME! How would you meet your shooting hand with the support hand if drawing from appendix and concealed? I watched your movement on this video like 100 times, and you definitely present you pistol from holster to target in a straight line. However, from appendix do you travel up to meet then out?
It's definitely a Beretta 92 series, but I can't say for sure if it's a 92X series or 'just' custom work. Could be also the 92X or M9A3/A4 as basis with additional work by Langdon Tactical or Wilson Combat. But from the beavertail I'd say 92X base.
Thank you so much for this great video. I took away many fantastic tips to work on. What holster is that you are using in this video? If that's Level 2 retention, you are damn fast! Thx
I live in a state that has no open carry. I’d be drawing from concealment and lifting my shirt with my support hand. How about a video with those requirements, or do you you offer one already?
There's videos of him doing some pretty fast draws from deep concealment. Forgot what the holster is called but it's out there. Edit: It's called the 5.0 holster.
I understand that the youtube individual wanted to show different ways to aim and adjust due to weather or gun example of shooting a round of ammo to show example and on point of adjusting his aim and making different angle or reacting due to wind and different levels of time and day and actions needed to do a better outcome or final result due to weather conditions and safety warnings or watches. So if there is a tornado warning, would anybody decide to go shoot or practice shooting a weapon firearm while risking your safety and your life, because of your urge to practice shooting because of current life threatening moments and you have to perfectly make and master your aiming /perfect shots firing your weapon before the bad guys have a free moment to do it and take your life away from your loved ones
If I were putting money on it, its double action. Can't be sure 100%, but I saw he was in the comments so hopefully he can tell us for sure. I've wondered about cocking the hammer on draw on my 226, or cocking it in the holster before the draw. I've got a stock hammer spring/trigger weight, and I think it's heavy enough to be safe. I've dropped it cocked with a snapcap from head height onto carpet (far cry from concrete, but I like my gun) and it hasn't dropped the hammer yet. Wonder what the RSO would say if I tried it at a match
He's not cocking the hammer during the draw. The draw should be the same whether you're shooting a DA, SA or striker. Getting a good, consistent grip is one of the most important steps in shooting a good stage.
I like how you left out actually going to train and dryfire Haha amateur's, am I right!!!! Lol 😎 Us 1 second "Draw God's" don't need any of that malarkey, it just comes naturally. It's OK, you can tell em the truth Haha If you're watching this video tho, by now these should be common sense!!
There's nothing really "racey" about his holster setup in the video. Any holster without retention would yield similar results. With a retention holster, on average, increase times by .10.
His set up here is similar to current issue duty gear. Adding another holster retention level might add 0.10 seconds or so. Using "full on race gear" instead might help shave 0.10 seconds. The difference between "regular" gear and "full race" gear is about 10%.

Like to see him do this with IWB holster. That's how I carry.

but how that little timer stop counting by the second the shooter pulls the trigger? by what mechanism? Sound detect device?

Question where should your gun holler be on your waist? Back more or around your pocket of your pants.
What shot timer is that?
Can we see a similar example but from concealment?
Following your timing @ the .85 but im sure my accuracy doesn't compete. Gotta work on this.. and reloads.

If the other guy pulls and fires from the hip he's going to get a shot off first, the old gunslinger art is alive and well.
But it's 12 yards so its unlikely the sh0t will be accurate without arms extended
