- Check out our video review of JJ Racaza's High-Speed Marksmanship class!
His class was amazing and a "must attend" for advanced pistol shooters.
If you don't know who JJ is, he is a highly sought after trainer, world-class competition shooter, and a former federal agent.
We highly recommend taking one of his classes if you have the chance!

I had the pleasure of being able to squad with JJ at a class - he's a world class individual as well as a shooter. I need to take his class.
still love jj from s01 of top shot, glad his success continues to grow
I downloaded the history app and have been rewatching all the seasons and JJ was always one of my favorites I hate he didn’t come back for the all star season
Thank you sir!!!
@@JJRacaza111 You should do youtube stuff! I would totally watch videos if you uploaded more. I know most of the Gun/2A community on RUclips would follow you.
This is hands down one of the most thorough reviews of a firearms class I’ve ever seen - well done! Just found your channel, and will be planning on taking his class in the future! When I get around to it, I’ll let you know how it went. 🇺🇸
Please do!
Mabuhay!Must be an awesome experience attending a training like this.
JJ is the #1 guy up there to get a knowledge from 🙏🏻👌🏻💪🏻👍🏻🍾
Thank you for your review...! And an intro to your channel.
I took JJ's class in 2017, yes, when I was a Novice/Intermediate shooter - and you were right, I think I would have needed more 'experience' and 'insights' under my belt before I really could see the 'light bulbs' in my head. Well, having GM and M shooters in the class didn't quite help, either...
Then again, thank you for the review as it was a good 'refresher' for me... A reminder for me to again take JJ's class!
I love his explanation of speed and slowing down and couldn't agree more. Thanks Miles, well done.
I just took the same class a few days ago. The class was amazing. The ability to self diagnose is the gift that keeps giving. Now I will at least know what I did wrong and how to correct it next time.
Awesome! Glad you like it and got to attend! Was our review right?
@@TacticalHyve yes, you were spot on
I don't remember the last time I saw a how to shoot video that I really thought was great. There have been a few that where very good. Some focus on speed. Usually at the cost of fundamentals. Others focus on fundamentals. With out doing a proper job of helping people figure out how to pull them all together properly while training. To properly help someone shoot fast and accurate in potential sustained life or death environment. This maybe the first speed shooting (pistol) oriented course I could confidently recommend to people who may regularly need to take much longer range shots. (Usually with a rifle) That would give them a great core foundation all around. I could probably write a 5-10 page report on how impressed I am with what I'm seeing of JJs course. Compared to nearly all others.
This video does a great job of covering a huge number if different components that are taught over the course. While not giving away key pieces of information. Letting JJ still make money off of his course.
JJ is an amazing instructor and a very talented shooter. Thanks for the comment.
Learning is about the journey. I tried to go back and watch videos of JJ that where 3-6 years old. It was tough. He has made huge strides in his development. In the past few years. Especially in putting various individual bits of knowledge, together as a much more cohesive whole. Good luck on your journey!
JJ's a Master!! I want to take his class!
Took this class yesterday. Phenomenal!
Really like your channel, your narrative style and great camera work. JJ's class looks amazing. One small request, when doing reviews, could you mention if you were paid or provided the classes or gear for free in exchange for a review? Just for transparency and objectivity purposes. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the compliment. We do not get paid or endorsed to do these reviews. We do them because we are passionate about the tactical world, and want to save others time and money with all the 'junk' out there.
Myles paid for his tuition and then asked permission if he could review it officially. He then said it may not be favorable but it’ll be a good learning experience nonetheless... I’m lucky he liked it...
@@JJRacaza111 What’s not to like? Hahaha. Will def take your class if/when you have one in Manila. 😊
This is all good to know and if you have the time and can afford it, go for it. I would like to say ,though, that if you are a target of the FBI, the CIA, a cartel, the mob, or even random gang it is most likely that you will be attacked late at night or in the early morning when you are tired and worn out. You might even be hit by an electronic weapon first, to disorient you. Electronic weapons are used quite a bit. One of the most frequent ways to take a guy out is
to simply walk up to you in the dark and ask for the time or a light. You look down, then when you look up you are facing the barrel of a gun and the guy pulls the trigger. Another highly popular way is at a stop sign or red light you pull up too close to the vehicle in front. They pull up right on your tail. You are locked in. A third vehicle pulls up along side you and a guy inside shoots you in the head. Think about how to survive this. They tried to get me using this techinque many times. It is survivable. Hint: late at night don't pull up close to the vehicle in front. The snatch is used quite a bit. Make up your mind now that you are not going to let assailants take you anywhere. Die on the spot. They are just going to take you somewhere else to kill you. Probably torture you first. A fourth way they use to take you out is to hit the rear of your vehicle and send your vehicle spinning out of control. If you survive this you will definitely need your semi auto. As they will make a number of attempts in a row. Throw some lead their way. That will make them back off. Note, don't use the sights. Just point and shoot. You only have milliseconds.
wow proud to be pinoy mabuhay pilipinas.. sharing skills to everybody mabuhay ka jj racaza
Excellent video!
You have broken it down and explained the class, and what you learned very succinctly.
Thank you very much for sharing.
Heard it said you can't shoot faster than you can see. Would love to see a video on "seeing faster."
awesome !!!!! im so pumped to take jj's upcoming class in fla :), thanks for the review much appreciated!
At 6:28 JJ is standing in a totally different posture than most of his students. His head is up and his spine is straight, whereas many students have their head tucked into their shoulders and forward. He's known as a fast/efficient mover moreso than best shot in the IPSC world. It's clear at that moment that his stance is more about seeing and moving than a fixation on the gun, sight, and target.
Stance can change depending on what one is doing. At that moment, he was relaxed as he was demonstrating a topic that doesn’t require one to have a more aggressive stance.
Very well done edit! Loved all of it! Thank you.
Great and superb display of speed and accuracy.
Great review. Top notch. I just need to get a bit better before I go!! Thx
Dang I wish you had explained at 12:29 what each movement is best for (drop step, lead foot pivot, lean) but I guess beggars can't be choosers when it comes to free info.
;)
Great review and information. Hoping to, one day, be a fast and accurate as you advanced shooters.
Thumbs up! Hope someday in indonesia JJ open a class too
Well done AAR......
Your reviews are extremely useful. Thank you.

Excellent Review !
This sounds like a great class
I haven't been getting any of notifications for almost 3 months, and I have selected to receive all notifications since I first subscribed, RUclips is getting out of hand at a rapid pace.
This happens sometimes when people subscribe but they may inadvertently uncheck the 'bell' icon to receive all notifications. If you have that turned on, then it definitely is a RUclips issue.
@@TacticalHyve it was on the entire time I've been subbed however RUclips does send notifications to your channel after I manually check the channel every other day.
Awesomeness
This looks like Eagles Nest at ASR... was it there? Thanks for the video!

Awesome!!

I thought phase 3 was less self-awareness and more execution of ability at the subconscious level?
Ken Chang overload match mode... sharpening your current capability/level
What holster is that? Holding the beretta
Preference, 9mm our .40?
Anybody know what type of shooting glasses those are?
Catch up with whats in my head? I'm confused If I had the thought I needed to do something and had not yet, might cost me my life. Fast accurate shooting is a result of consistent practice with measurable improvements ie faster rather than slower with emphasis on getting hits. Thinking about trigger reset is maybe ok on a range but should be subconscious in real world application. New information will continue to be added for the shooting community, which is always welcome. However there are things that can be taught that are hard to unlearn if practiced enough.
I'm Not an advance shooter by any means. I'm a USAF Vet, however. But, I would like to take the class. How do I reach out and contact him? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
His wife can fill you in on any openings. Jessica.racaza@yahoo.com
I made it
Where can I find a list of class dates for JJ? I can’t find them anywhere
Go to his Instagram and get his email.
Does he have a RUclips page?
D best pa rin si Allan Lao..hihihi..

how many times did he say "JJ"?
Where is this I want to joint are u in California. I can drive there
He holds class all over.
He forgot to teach that don’t look your gun while reloading , keep your eye on your enemy at all cost . For me he’s not fully a trainer yet
Sounds like you haven't trained with many of the best. Many of them teach to look at your gun the moment you insert a magazine. If you train with more well-known instructors, you'll see.
Arrogant
Youre a loser with fake account
Benny Cooley Jr taught me this 30 yrs ago. This isn’t anything new.
is jj filipino?
Yes.
It's all fun and games till the rounds come from the opposite direction.
Their guns seems no recoil at all lol
Youre just giving him a good review cause he's your twin brother right?🤔
Don’t shoot this block. Shoots block. Covid released.
