I'm having a hard time believing this is a ubisoft game, it looks too good
It's Massive Entertainment, that's why it looks good
division games look incredible even with downgrades and they still hold out till today, their gameplay is really up to you if you like looter-shooter. Im really hyped for this but no preorders or buying day1 anw.
Don't fall for the bait.
So does Watch dog and Division...
Division back in 2013😂😂 it's been 10 years you start to forget things you should remember
Finaly a game where you don't play as Jedi or a soldier. I hope this has a lot of crime theme to it with bounty hunters, mercenaries, the hutts and the spice cartel.
I just hope it's dark and has some grit to it, and not disneyfied if you know what I mean. Also kinda wish the cute pet thing wasn't around seems like every star wars character has a cute little companion nowadays

Yeah who wants to be a jedi?
Just the coolest thing ever
@@Assassino275 I like companions, but that's just me because I like company. Although they don't have to be cute, just got to be useful. I like this one though. But, like the other guy said, got to sell toys.
Same.
Imagine it being 2024 and people still preordering games? It's pretty easy to wait until the full game comes out and look at gameplay first.
Pre-ordering supports devs and helps accelerate the "development-hell" phase
And you can get bonuses and some times physical bonuses

@@therealbarongamer1602 the bonuses are hardly ever very incentivizing. And usually come bundled together with a bunch of stuff down the line for cheaper.

I wasn't sold on gunplay, but then the ship sequence came and convinced me. The scale looks massive!
To me it seemed like the guy playing was just terrible, they probably should have gotten a better player to showcase
One can only hope not to be as bad as this gameplay lol.
I'm going to second that other comment the person playing couldn't hit the broadside of a barn...aim like a stormtrooper. Game looks great though
Vai voltar com o canal ?
Looked very rdr2 in terms of the gunplay which to be fair is pretty bad
A commando droid in a trenchcoat is the ultimate wingman. I hope they include its ability to mimic voices at some point.
Should have been the playable character. I suppose in a sense droids are less welcomed in Star Wars, but they could have swapped between characters. Droids can get hit by lasers and survive/repair... We could finally have enemies that shoot straight and have it make sense that the character can still move and go on! ...But, no... Another human. Just like Battlefront 2 campaign. Just like Fallen Order/Survivor.
@@JayFFAFAlesanaES damn you're right bro. That would have been awesome. Oh well, this game still looks pretty good
Maybe at least something different than a human. It doesnt quite need to be a droid. Maybe a Rodian, or a twilek. Or a pirate ( idk how to call them in English). If we are criminal, id like to have my own pirate crew.😂
too bad he isn't the protag, that would've rocked
@@JayFFAFAlesanaES Hey, maybe the droid will get playable missions too.
The closer we get to its release, the more negative stuff we learn about it. No thanks, Ubisoft.
Yup, gonna pass and wait for it to hit the $20 bin
Besides the pricing, what else is there negative?
@obiwanfisher537 the fact that it's from Ubisoft
@@HazardousRob That is not an reason. So in other words, you just hate it to be virtue signalling..
@obiwanfisher537 not really virtue signaling to not buy a game from a company that has a track record for releasing incomplete games and nickel and diming their customers. You should probably learn what virtue signaling means dummy
glad they are showing more of the star wars universe more than anything.
Agree with that 👌 💯 👍 👏 🙌 😄 😊

I’m liking the Commando Droid. He’s got a warmer voice than others of his model and he can rock that coat like a boss.
the comment we all needed 🙌🏽
You bet. The stoic, interestingly-designed non-human characters are usually the coolest pals.
The droids are my favorite, especially when theyre fleshing-out commando droids after the clone wars. A humanized commando droid, giving me Nick Valentine vibes

Most of the times the trailer isn’t actual real gameplay but just designed to look really good and the game then just isn’t it
@Darkstar no tbf, ubisoft often releases 'gameplay trailers' that are actually small well-finished demos, while the full game continues to get worked on and isn't nearly as good. We should all be very cautious of Ubisoft and their trailers. Remember watch dogs.
@@franklyevo, yet this definitely looks like a visually skinned AC game. Not a bad thing, as over the years the AC franchise has had decent visual improvements. The demo space in- between will be interesting for implementation. Will this be a defeat enemies arena to explore or as visualized: hyper jump out of system and firefight(s).

Faster gameplay pace and this game is literally the perfect non-saber star wars game.
Why would people need a non saber star wars game? I am New to this franchise, bought Jedi fallen order during 90% discount and loving using the dual blade light saber. A nice break from using guns in video games. I haven't watched Star Wars movies either.
@@akhileshkannan8421I can't speak for everyone, buy that's probably due to 99% of the Galaxy being non-jedi and, since most of mainline stuff follows or involves Jedi, it's nice to get away from it and a new point of view in the galaxy
So they have the ability to make her look however they want, and they make this ulgy beats of a woman that looks like a man. Why?
I bet it’ll be much faster when we don’t have someone as terrible at games as the guy in the trailer playing
To me what matters most in a Star Wars game is to get the atmosphere of this universe right. And it looks like they're nailing it.
I feel the same. The atmosphere, the music, the random npc's conversation about the empire...I didn't want to be excited about this game and now I kinda am.
@@aurelion9778don’t be hater it sucks
@@musicmane4146 Not a hater. I just don't like when I get my hopes up and then get completely disappointed. And this is Ubisoft we're talking about, btw.
@@musicmane4146there’s a difference between being a hater and recognizing clear patterns lol.
Well, it does look nice, but I cant help but be disappointed in the atmosphere again, because its again simply a full-on powerfantasy. Sure, we are not a jedi, but that kinda makes it worse, as a Jedi at least has some reason for being a powerfantasy character. This is just an outlaw with a gun... and just in the prologue she sneaks into a fully manned outpost of some faction, on her escape kills 5 of them with her gun, then manages to kill another 2 pursuers on a bike, then pisses of an imperial officer with little to no worry, escapes the planet with no issue, shoots down several military fighters withou problem and escapes. I know we are used to this powerfantasy so much, that it does not seem weird anymore, but it is weird. It is not what I would imagine a good atmosphere to look like, if we are playing as a "simple woman making her way in the galaxy" ... we are an action superhero again :-(
Cant we for once get a game where stuff matters a bit? Take inspiration from Andor for a change and make it actually feel a bit real? Like that killing 10 people in a botched escape plan is actually a big deal? As it should be? That pissing of an imperial officer can actually be a real death sentence, not a minor inconvenience when taking off? Where the galaxy trully is a place where one has to find her way, instead of blasting her way through with the grace and inertia of a nuclear powered 30 ton bulldozer???
If Ubisoft managed to release this game smoothly and it looks and feels as amazing as this glimpse… this will restore my faith in Ubisoft as a AAA developer.
Probably won't happen though TBH

@@thecountach3948 Not to sound full of myself, but have you ever read any of the books pre-Disney? This is VERY Star Wars.
Looks fine for a "cinematic" game that will likely be like 10 hours with allot of QTE's, taking control from the player to make the story happen. I think they are fine for a 20 or 30 dollar experience. Back in the day they were a weekend rental. You were happy you spend 5 to 7 bucks to beat it on your day or days off and returned it. Thoughts days are over though and 70 bucks for anything you aren't gonna get a few hundred hours out of just aren't worth your cash.
Yes it is? Do you know how expensive it is to make a game like this? I don’t have “100s of hours” to put into a star wars game, or any game for that matter, anywhere from 40 to 80 is more than enough for me
As someone who's missed the Star Wars 1313 game since it was announced and pre-emptively cancelled all those years ago, this hits that spot better than I could have ever imagined. Keep up the great work, MASSIVE!
Yeah, Outlaws looks like the developer watched the 1313 trailers and gameplay and went off that, which is a great thing! I was sad when 1313 got canceled, so Outlaws is making me feel like we're getting that game, so to speak.
Ive got bad feeling about this.
Except 1313 looked gritty, while this one looks like a normal Star Wars theme. Comedy, cute, and no brutality. This game looks ok, and will watch a play through at some point, but 1313 debut was 10 times better
@@fredrick1176 People always find cancelled games better.
It doesn't feel like 1313 tonally at all, just because you're not playing as a jedi doesn't make it the same. They should make more games focused on the scum and villainy aspect of Star Wars but this just feels indentical in tone to Jedi Survivor/Fallen Order. Its bright, chirpy, comedic, disneyfied.
I hope in the final product that the main character is a lot more reactionary during combat. As soon as she was spotted and started running she just looked so stiff. All this blaster fire coming at her and she just casually jogs about the place.
I think that’s just the player being bad so I’m not too worried.

That’s a pretty good take on it. A lot of people seem tired of revisiting the Imperial era, but I think that’s because we keep seeing the Empire through the same lens every time: Empire evil and oppressive, so you fight them in rebellion. Looks great. I want it even more since you don't start out as Jedi or Sith. Space battle is awesome
If this game looks and plays as well as this video, with the smooth, seamless transitions, then they already have my money. No microtransactions, no multiplayer and make it a SUPER long game. I'll be in heaven.

yeah, i would have really liked it to be a customisable character thing, but maybe this was better for the story

@@l3o_.dws.x863 my guess is the next game in the series they let you fully customize your character while expanding on that ever growing galaxy. But that’s just a hope and a dream

nah, i hate customisable characters unless its a full RPG. It ruins the narrative, and the crafted world. Odyssey proved this.

Looks incredible.. I love how can you run into your ship, take off, navigate to orbit, fight off TIEs, and then go to light speed with no transition breaks.
Literally don't care what anyone says. Not being able to fly through orbit in starfield is such a vibe killer
It looks like the cloud layer is a sort of hidden loading transition between planet and orbit, but it's very seamless.
There was literally a break when she got into the cockpit. It doesn't look like a free choice, but something determined by the plot.
Plus the cloudy transition doesn't look like it'll be in the actual game. Feels way to long and the cut to space was to fast. It's all tailor made for the trailer.

This game looks extremely good. Ubisoft usually makes trailers look unbelievable then upon release everything is downgraded sadly.

I really like the 40 degree FOV. Perfect for motion sickness.
First Ubisoft game I actually might just be rooting for, but my inner side of me keeps saying to not hype for the game. It looks to good to be true.
This is one of those games where the idea and goal they have for the game, I feel like, won't be completely how they invision come release. The idea and scope for this game sounds insane. To have a completely open detailed world on planet, and then to be able to instantly get in your ship and go into space and go anywhere, to another planet, dog fight, and that be seamless? Idk. It almost sound too good to be true. But the idea sounds amazing for a SW game.
Yeah, people have been trying to make a game like this for years. Destiny, Star Citizen, No Man’s Sky, I even remember that old demo for Beyond Good and Evil 2 was just like this.
Let’s see if either this one or Starfield manage to achieve it, hopefully the current gen practically non existent loading times thanks to SSDs finally make it possible
Both will achieve it. 2023/2024 will be so good years for gamers
I think you are right in the sense it sounds to good to be true but the experience will probably sell the idea of planet to space free roam. I had a feeling the "seamless" transitions like spaceship on planet to space felt like a playable loading sequence...still playable but loading netherless. But overall if the experience seems seamless than i'll have no complaints. I'd be interested to know if this concept will be available for online
You've got to remember that this game will not have over 1000 planets. Probably like 5 (including moons). So it's possible to do that seamlessly
It's not seamless. The cutscenes of the ship taking off was the loading screen. Hyperspace jumps serve as loading screens for the next area as well.
Looks pretty solid.Hopefully they deliver. We are in a serious need for a good open world Star Wars game

I love when characters vocalize every thought they've ever had because I'm not smart enough to make basic observations myself.
First time seeing a Ubisoft reveal?
That's not really the point. If the character has to explain exactly what's going on and what everything means, that's called bad writing. The images you're looking at alone should tell the story for you. Dialogue should be merely an accompaniment. @@goofygooferson7834
