  • Matt Thomas demo's his signature model OM-CMT in Sinker Redwood and Exhibition Grade Cocobolo. The voice on this guitar is very ethereal, with deep bass and sparkling trebles with lots of colorful overtones. A truly outstanding finger-style guitar.

"exhibition grade".. That's a new one. What are the characteristics of "exhibition grade".?
I have been harvesting and collecting redwood since the days of Craig Carter, the pioneer of sinker redwood. RIP.
Contrarily, the backs and sides do not look like Brazilian. They look like Coco Bolo. Very nice but not BRW.
How do the fingerboard dots function given you cannot see them?

Its a term used by the sellers, more than likely to denote a set with unusual or unique figure or color.

@@JewittGuitars "exihibition grade" is pretentious nonsense.
Apparently I have a large stash of "exhibition grade" redwood dating back to the 30s...
and another stash dating to the late 80s, early 90s. Good to know.

Quibbling about a marketing term instead of focusing on the amazing tonality and high quality craftsmanship, and throwing in some 'back in the day' references for good measure: Tell us you're a curmudgeon with stating it outright
