I love the new combo with the Shuttle more and more each time I watch it. I'm a big fan of Kinoshita walking on the ceiling regardless of his location.
@@targetseeker I'ver never played Shin, so if it was a good unit there it's news to me. My statement is based on the fact that Trider was a middling unit in SRW GC/XO, and a bad to terrible unit every time it appeared in Z2.1, Z2.2, Z3.1, Z3.2, and T.
@@Omnicrom reverse situation for me then. only played shin and not a single one of the games you mentioned. honestly, i have no idea if tryder was a bad unit or not in shin because i have no idea what's going (just knew enough to use some of the spells).
@@targetseeker Well in every game I've played Tryder has been quite bad. It's a fragile unit with awkward and comparatively weak attacks and Watta is not a very good pilot either statwise or in terms of his awful suite of Spirit Commands. Tryder can't take hits very well thanks to a mix of meh armor and Watta's abysmally bad Potential level, it also can't dodge, and unlike other fragile Supers like Shin Getter it can't output much damage, even with Bird Attack which is extremely expensive for a move of rather mediocre power. Watta's primary perk is his unique "President" pilot skill, but that's rarely made it worthwhile to lug him along and it's completely outmoded in T where Maito also has the same skill and also pilots a good unit. The very best Tryder has ever been is in Z3.1 where it's Saber attack was an ALL weapon that could do some work in the early game and where the Tag Battle system meant you could get some mileage out of it in the long-run as a partner, but in most games I've played the crummy little Shuttle is actually a more useful unit than Tryder G7 itself.

That final attack. Only the Japanese can get comedy this gold into a otherwise serious game and get it this good.
